2 years later but still very helpful. About to sublimate the spiral ring ones for the first time. Thank you for your videos. They are straight to the point and easy to follow.
Thanks for the very interesting video! I may have an idea for the spine of the feather notebook. I would put a piece of cardboard (same thickness as the covers) in the spine, so that all parts of the notebook (sides and spine) are at the same height when you apply the heat press. Then after sublimation, remove the piece of cardboard. I haven’t tried sublimation yet, but seeing you showing us all these cool ideas makes me want to try :).
I wish I would have seen this video before I tried to make my notebook. I bought the same small notebook with the rings as well as the leather one. I watched a video on how to make the notebook but my spiral cover wrinkled. The temperature she used was 400* at 60 seconds. That was too hot and too long. I searched for your channel Angie but for some reason you weren't coming up. Thank you so much for these videos! I will try this again and leave another comment on how it turned out.
Fantastic! I was thinking that maybe the reason the spine was less is because it didn't have the cardboard which gave the entire surface the same thickness. I would probably cut a little piece of cardboard to "fill" that spot to keep it all even. This is great! Thank you so much for your help.
I used the holographic notebooks from Dollor Tree and they worked great!! also you can sub on faux leather I've used the bibles also . Start looking now since it's back to school.
Thank you for the video. I ordered some of those sublimation notebooks on Prime Day. They work great. I just tried a Jot Glitter composition notebook from Dollar Tree. It's the one with a more smooth surface. It worked great. I had to use 400 degrees with my Easypress, but it looks great! Thanks again.
I’ve just started playing with sublimation using a heat press, and I’ve had luck tacking a laminating sheet onto cardboard first, just for a few seconds, then sublimating onto that. It seems like that might work on the glitter cover notebooks… maybe?
Always follow the time and temperature recommendations where you purchase your sublimation blanks. 385 F for 45 seconds is a good starting point for blanks like this if you can't find it.
i did make a few last year. they're the ones from dollar tree. lucky to have found some. and it worked. didn't fade at all, survived the 2021-22 school year lol!
Hi Angie Could you give a tutorial on how to unzip files and create a file for a specific design. In other word organize files. I couldn't get bundle files cause I don't know how to do it. Thank you.
I tried with the infusable cricut in and It worked, but I guess it was too hot(385)45 sec ,but I warped the note book. Would a heat resistant silicon heat mat work?
Have you ever tried using adhesive glitter vinyl to sub on and then place the sticker on a notebook? Would it melt? Could you sub on Glitter Htv and it stay like a sticker? Just curious! Thanks for the video and trying stuff out for us!

Happy to help!
I am so happy with the notebook cover that I just made. I used 330* for 40 seconds on my HTVRont heat press. It turned out beautifully!
YAY!

Yep definitely would try some alternative methods!

Thanks for sharing!!
I have gotten great color results with these notebooks, but the bowing was an issue.
Yep. I always put something on them while hot and allow to cool while pressed flat.

Good to know!!
Hi Amy 👋 ... how many seconds did you sublimate for?
I am still trying different items to sublimate on. This is good to know.
Happy to help!
Thank you for showing the difference of each.
Thank you so much for this video. This was so helpful. I've been searching for notebook covers like the one here 7:26. Where can I order them from?
I added links to the ones I used in the description below the video.
Thank you! I look forward to watching more of your videos!
On the journal spine I found rolling a small piece of felt and tape it to the spine.

OH I am sure you can add something to it to make it work. I don't like doing that if I can help it!
Hi do you need to cover the whole cover not part of it so to avoid the tricky springs?
I think it would depend on the notebook you are sublimating.
what temperature and time for the second notebook cover please the one after the glitter one
Always follow the time and temperature recommendations where you purchase your sublimation blanks. 385 F for 45 seconds is a good starting point for blanks like this if you can't find it.
I love your videos. They are so easy to follow.
I have sublimated onto sequinned note books, just make sure all the sequins are facing the same way. If its done right you can hide the design
I haven't even SEEN a sequin notebook! That sounds like fun!

So good to know!! I have NO IDEA why the Amazon ones don't work!! GRRR!
What temperature for the heat press on the last two notebooks please
Check where you purchase any notebooks.
Where we buy them doesn't include any instructions, that's probably why she's asking. Can you please tell us the temp and time you used?
Thanks for posting this
Yay, Angie! Great job as always!
Yay, thank you!
Hi Angie
Could you give a tutorial on how to unzip files and create a file for a specific design. In other word organize files. I couldn't get bundle files cause I don't know how to do it. Thank you.
Could you also suggest vinyls that are eco-friendly but not too expensive.

Thank you for your video. This really helps me.
Glad it was helpful!
What temp did you use?
I stated the time and temperature that I used but you may have to alter to fit your set up.
What temp did you use and how long
Always look where you purchase your notebook as each one will be different.
Thank you! Like watching your vids. Helpful tips and reviews.
Glad you like them!
Can you use infusible ink instead?
Yes u can. Any sublimation blanks u can use for it
@@brandiehammond thanks!
Of course!!

good teaching video
Thanks for watching!
@@AngieHolden you are welcome honey
Can you please do a video of how to add business logos permanently on agendas
You can use this same technique with a sublimation printer you would just need to find a blank that you like.
Have you ever tried using adhesive glitter vinyl to sub on and then place the sticker on a notebook? Would it melt? Could you sub on Glitter Htv and it stay like a sticker? Just curious! Thanks for the video and trying stuff out for us!
Yep you could do that!
as usual...great job...thanks
Thank you too!
Awesome
Thanks!
You didn't show time & settings
Always use the time and temperature for the blank you purchased as they are all different.
Just in time….thank you
Enjoy!
Wait... You can sublimate notebooks from the dollar tree???
I have seen other people do it!
@@AngieHolden ok ill give it a try - thanks for another amazing video - I've learned so much from you!
