Every boss in this game plays exactly the same as the first one. There is zero progression of challenge, only slightly different movement patterns. I wasn’t expecting Dark Souls, but even the original had bosses grow in complexity & challenge. This feels like a tutorial
Interesting that the final boss of Ufouria is missing, and instead uses the second-to-last boss from the NES game as the final boss here. (And added a weird plot about cleaning up dirt) ... I know it's marketed as a sequel, but it's really a remake, except for the missing final boss.

Except that the original was a full on Metroidvania, and this game doesn’t use that kind of world map at all. It’s structured all different!!
