    The same week we were in London and copped half the 33 fleet idling at Stew Lane. Lucky us.

      @@colingarwood9971 Many thanks for your kind reply Colin, I look forward to watching more of your content. Perthshire is a beautiful part of Scotland much like Dumfries and Galloway. All the best.

    At 2:39 we see 31423 in Mainline livery. This was the first 31/4 to carry this scheme, but apparently, as it was allocated to the civil engineering pool, it should've carried the "dutch" livery instead. It was never repainted!

    Imagine running the train starting at 13m15 on a model railway at an exhibition. Some 'anorak' would try to call you out....

      Mk 1 and Mk 3 stock with DVT? 🤔

      @@AndreiTupolev yes the WCML was short of a Mk3 rake after the Colwich accident in 1986 and replaced the missing vehicles with facelifted Mark 1s. They were retired when the timetable was thinned out in the early 1990s when Blackpool, Shrewsbury etc lost their London services.

    Is that a class 315 in the beginning?

    • @colingarwood9971
      @colingarwood9971  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a 315 APT370 but a 313. Very similar in appearance i know but only 3 coaches as opposed to 4 on a 315.

      @@colingarwood9971 oh I didn't know they ever went up to Bletchley, that's very nice to see

      313, used on the Euston-Watford DC line but maintained at Bletchley depot

      @@AndreiTupolev so they had to run out of Bletchley straight to Watford for the usual services? That's pretty cool. I'm guessing during that time 313s couldn't use Willesden TMD
