    Hi Mike,
    Would you consider doing a video walking us through your entire process of laying down the tracks, going over your equipment and setting up the trolling motor to follow the tracts? Thanks, I've been enjoying your videos for some time now. Can't wait for the next one.

    Another great video! I was out on a local lake in northern Indiana this morning. Got them pretty quickly long lining. Best baits this morning was 1/8 oz beetle spins and my all time favorite crappie bait, a size 5 flicker shad caught the majority of fish again.

    Good morning Mike. I enjoy your videos. I have just recently discovered them and have been watching all I can. I do have a couple questions for you. Is there just a certain time of year you troll jigs and crank baits ? What is your deciding factor for switching up your methods?

    Love the videos Mike! Do you prefer these jigs or the bandits better or have you noticed if/when one works better than the other? Having down to Camdenton (big niangua) in August. Long lining slabs & jugging blues

    • @MikeBakerVideos
      @MikeBakerVideos  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually troll jigs if the fish are higher in the water column. I like to run deep diving crankbaits when the fish are deeper. I enjoy both. Just two different styles of fishing.

    Mike, Really enjoy the Long Line videos! What is the reason you use a loop knot on the Fin Spins versus a swivel?

    • @MikeBakerVideos
      @MikeBakerVideos  ปีที่แล้ว

      No reason really. I think a swivel works fine but it is just as quick to tie a loop knot and I usually don't experience much spin on my crappie jigs like I do sometimes when pulling crankbaits.

    How do you know how far to cast? Doesn't that affect how high or low the jigs will pull? Can you also explain the different angles of the rod holders, as that would affect depth too right? Thanks!

    • @MikeBakerVideos
      @MikeBakerVideos  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't make it that complicated. I know about how far a full cast is and from charts and expeirience I know about what depth they are running with my rods at about a 45 degree angle.

    How do you tie the double rigs?

    • @MikeBakerVideos
      @MikeBakerVideos  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I start by running the top jig up the line. I tie the bottom jig with a loop knot. Then I place the top jig about 18 " up the line and tie another loop knot with a 1 to 3" loop.

    What is the depth of the water where you are trolling?

    Been following your methods at lake ozark. Got a new boat, (because it was time)a couple of Millenium Spyderlok T-bars, new rods, reels,baits, etc. Long lining with crank baits is a blast but I never, ever limit out. A good outing is 7 or 8. All 12-13” fish though. I know you have videos out to answer all my questions but all your content is extremely helpful. You do a great job of pointing out new tips in every video, even if that day’s method has been coverages before. I’d kill to have you see my rig/setups etc., and point out my flaws. But then you’d never have time to shoot another video.😂
