Here is an idea for PR: why don't you do a PR unboxing once a month and give away what you don't want within the month you got your PR if you know you don't wanted or won't used? This would be a smart thing to do before the expiration date of some products.

I love watching people declutter makeup and skincare. I myself have recently realised that I have too much of both. So I am making a conscious effort to really try and use stuff up to get rid of them, before opening something new. Not have million eyeliners etc open at the same time. I have also started putting stickers on skincare with the date I opened them, so I can keep track of expired stuff easier. It helps me to be on top of throwing stuff out.

Ha, I saw those Clinique lipsticks and I thought "girl, you better keep a couple of those for yourself" because they are one of my fave formulas. No real lasting power but maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan are they so pretty and so comfortable.
You are one of the only people I know who actually declutters. Gets rid of lot, knows when makeup is old. After I started watching winter 2018 I decluttered my own makeup and got rid of a lot that I was not using.

Fallon I don’t think that there would be a problem, I just genuinely thought that she might have liked that mascara. I guess I also assume that someone would be more eager to try a high end mascara if given the opportunity than a cheaper product. But that might not be the case obviously here... Also, I watch some of the same youtubers than she does, and one has placed that exact mascara as her absolute favorite one. Jess! Another idea for you for any unused items your local women's shelters cannot use: Make goody bags of items for your local church, school, YMCA, etc to give to young women around the holidays. As always thank you for your content!
i love this idea! a lot of the time you can't donate a lot of makeup because shelters etc may get overwhelmed with the amount & they may actually refuse to accept them due to this. this would be a good way to help people out and pass it to better hands

Yes, us normal humans have to save up and really think about the exact item we want. This is why it’s hard for me to trust reviews when it’s PR. When you get this much for free it is impossible to review in the same way as if you saved up and bought it yourself.
The whole point of PR is marketing and high exposure to increase the amount of sales/revenue. So in actuality sending products to "normal consumers" has no value to these companies. The average consumer doesn't have a large influence/presence like a lot of these IG & TH-cam gurus do. So it doesn't make sense for a company to spend money to send out products to your average joe if there isn't anything to gain in return. It's a sad reality. Hence why you see brands like Tarte sending gurus out on these lavish trips. They see it as an investment because they know the influence these people have on consumers. Spending $30K on one big influencer with a million subs to endorse your product isn't much when you take into account that if in theory each one of their subscribers bought a $20 product, that's a sale of $20 million.

Kiki Lal it works best on either really thin liquid shadows or bare eyes :) it’s a felt tip liner but it doesn’t hold a lot of liquid so it’s perfect to not oversaturate one spot but it takes a few swipes to line. The end result is gorgeous though :)
I got it a while ago and actually, it was so disappointing for me. The formula was great, but I’m fair and pink-undertoned, so when I put it on over shadow, it just looked like I had rubbed off a bit of shadow right at my lash line (or forgot to blend to my lash line) and when I wore it alone, it barely showed up. Whomp whomp for me. Hope you have better luck with it!
Kristin Cook I agree with the over shadow! It crumbles and you have to layer over and over. If I use a liquid cream shadow that’s thin and neutral or brown, it works. I’m medium/tan so it works but I can totally see for someone who’s pink and fair it won’t work! Hope this helps :) I’ve also used it as a double liner with black liner for a double wing too!

I love watching your declutter videos. They really inspire me! I have recently made a rule to myself that I have to start using stuff up. I never finish makeup items, and then they get old or I forget I have them. So I have banned myself from buying anymore for the time being, until I start making a sizeable dent in the collection I already own. I also now put stickers on all my makeup and skincare products showing the date I opened them so I will know how old they are getting.

I'm always amazed on how much stuff you declutter and I feel like you're realistic when it comes to what you're actually going to be able to use and not let it go to waste. I appreciate that about you a lot. I see people that just keep makeup just because of packaging and they even say I'm never gonna use it but the packaging is cute, I don't understand that way of thinking at all like you rather have tons of makeup that you know you never going to use and let it expire instead of donating it to someone even if its a family member who would actually use it and appreciate it just blows my mind. The one thing you gave away and I was like no you have to try it its really good was the covergirl exhibitionist mascara lol.

I luv watching ur PR declutter - I hope you do them more often (once every 3-6 months maybe?). I am overwhelmed by all the makeup companies keep sending out to influencers. I don't watch GRWM or first impressions or product reviews anymore or even favourites (unless it's you/Risa does Makeup/Jen Luvs Reviews/Tati because you guys are truly your own person and say what you mean). All these new makeup, it's just too much. I only keep to buying up to 10 makeup items per month now (usually drugstore on sale) - even that is TOO MUCH for a makeup junkie like me. I wish there are more influencers like you 😍
That Wander Mile High and Hourglass Caution plus the Glossier Lash Slick are the mascaras I always go to. And totally agree with you about the L'Oreal lipstick smell!

Hi , I did a declutter because it was causing me stress ! And after I gave all my drug store makeup to my family only because my alex nine drawer Alex unit was cluttered and it was making me anxious I just couldn’t find anything I wanted , so now I just have high end products one drawer is a hair drawer one drawer is a backup drawer because again I get agitated if I don’t have a replacement , but now I can see everything, my eyeshadows are from two different brands , and now it’s a joy just to sit and select what I want to use and it’s a joy , even looking at my products makes me happy ,

I love watching your declutter videos. They really inspire me! I have recently made a rule to myself that I have to start using stuff up. I never finish makeup items, and then they get old or I forget I have them. So I have banned myself from buying anymore for the time being, until I start making a sizeable dent in the collection I already own. I also now put stickers on all my makeup and skincare products showing the date I opened them so I will know how old they are getting.

I'm always amazed on how much stuff you declutter and I feel like you're realistic when it comes to what you're actually going to be able to use and not let it go to waste. I appreciate that about you a lot. I see people that just keep makeup just because of packaging and they even say I'm never gonna use it but the packaging is cute, I don't understand that way of thinking at all like you rather have tons of makeup that you know you never going to use and let it expire instead of donating it to someone even if its a family member who would actually use it and appreciate it just blows my mind. The one thing you gave away and I was like no you have to try it its really good was the covergirl exhibitionist mascara lol.

I luv watching ur PR declutter - I hope you do them more often (once every 3-6 months maybe?). I am overwhelmed by all the makeup companies keep sending out to influencers. I don't watch GRWM or first impressions or product reviews anymore or even favourites (unless it's you/Risa does Makeup/Jen Luvs Reviews/Tati because you guys are truly your own person and say what you mean). All these new makeup, it's just too much. I only keep to buying up to 10 makeup items per month now (usually drugstore on sale) - even that is TOO MUCH for a makeup junkie like me. I wish there are more influencers like you 😍

Hi , I did a declutter because it was causing me stress ! And after I gave all my drug store makeup to my family only because my alex nine drawer Alex unit was cluttered and it was making me anxious I just couldn’t find anything I wanted , so now I just have high end products one drawer is a hair drawer one drawer is a backup drawer because again I get agitated if I don’t have a replacement , but now I can see everything, my eyeshadows are from two different brands , and now it’s a joy just to sit and select what I want to use and it’s a joy , even looking at my products makes me happy ,
