No joke, I have had your older (declutter) content on repeat the last few weeks. It was a rough last quarter of the years and your videos are so calming and inspiring. Def helping me move into 2025 with the mindset of "fewer, nicer (beautiful) things"
No blush in the tray! What a difference a few years makes in our tastes! This stuff is so fascinating to follow. I found you in 2020 and my life has also changed a ton since! Thanks for continuing on this wild journey and leaning into asking deeper questions on TH-cam. Thanks for being you🎉
One of my favourite makeup practices is this decision-making activity. Each month, I move a selection of my makeup into a box and that's what I use for the month. January is ballerina month - lots of pale pink, lots of sheer dove grey eyeshadow.... February is vamp month. Within each month, I might have an extra 'lewk', e.g. for Jan I have a mocha mousse one. I promise I am not mad! I just really like embracing each month's vibe through my makeup!
Soothe me to sleep Hannah 😂 your voice and the clickity clack are really relaxing. 😅 but first I'm going to watch and the rewatch will be my bedtime story.
Nowadays I imagine myself listen to her face to face to fall asleep faster. She have an antiques store and describe to me the objects there with her smooth, calming and kind voice. I think she should do a sleepcast, I would love it!
I would love an updated perfume collection/tour etc!! Your taste is so different from mine but your way of describing is so fascinating to me. I’ve been watching your perfume declutter from your no buy year to tide me over. 😂
Just hear to say that I look forward to your hottakes on the new colors from Mac. A specific Mocha Brown lipstick and a grey lip liner made me think of you. Happy New Year to you and your family.
If you have a travel atomizer you can probably make use of the broken commodity fragrance, one that fills from the bottom by by attaching directly to the pump mechanism.
I absolutely love that the beginning keeps were just to keep out. With a small collection, like you have now and many of us do, it’s exciting to see our collections as a capsule and a bigger collection. It makes it so fun to shop the stash!
I wouldn’t be able to review skincare because of my acne prone/sensitive skin. I love skincare products and the temptation to try everything is difficult. If I change up something in my routine, I only change one item at a time now. And I don’t switch up something just for the sake of it. I used to be so excited about my skin care and wanted to try everything. That created issues for me. I didn’t know what products were truly helpful or harmful, for that matter.
You should try the Surratt Lid Lacquer on top of a grippy base (eye primer or cream eyeshadow), don't use too much product and apply it only on the actual lid, not the crease. This will help with its performance. However, bear in mind that it is essentially a pigmented eye gloss. It's designed to give an editorial, grungy, messy, lived-in look even in non-hooded eyelids. It looks very cool, but have to be OK with some creasing or quickly re-blending it throughout the day. Lisa Eldridge has a tutorial on how to creat a real 90s grungy look and she talks about this.
I bought myself the Botanist by Beauty Pie and I was so pleasantly surprised. It’s herbally for sure but it also has something kind of soap/clean about it. It smells to me like a luxury herbal body bar.
Looking for a wild card blush for your daily makeup bag and picked the blush you described as a color dupe for the Rhode😂😂 love these kinds of videos!!
I wanted to love the Merit fragrance because it smells great from the bottle, but once sprayed on there are too many things competing for my nose and the vanilla is too much. On my daughter it smells soft and fresh, so good!
Hi Hannah! You mentioned the idea of "functional dupes" in a declutter video forever ago, but it's really stuck with me. I'd love to see videos on how you think about those functions for both fashion and makeup! Ex. do you think of it as "bold lip" or "red lip" or some other thing, cozy sweater vs oversized sweater vs soft sweater, etc
Perfumes that Hannah might like: Comme des Garcons "Standard" is a weird mix (in classic CDG style) of metallic and herbaceous elements, and I love it bc it smells like my fave brand of silver polish (Goddard's). Their Incense Series also has some contenders -- dry warm barely-sweet cedary Avignon, complex-but-not-heavy herbal Zagorsk. Just ordered Rien by Etat Libre d'Orange and love it, but while I was on FragranceNet I also threw in a bottle (only like $25!) of Lalique Encre Noir just out of curiosity and I really like it! It's not my usual (it's very soft and ever so slightly sweet, like a "skin scent") but then it's got a little lemon-rind zing in the top note and it's so easy and friendly and nice. Still SO happy with the Sigma Skin Tint. Finally, a sheer-ish lightweight CC/BB type thing that doesn't have one of my Horror Show Acne Triggers (most of them), isn't both crazy wet-looking and also unpowderable (Ilia Serum, which I too otherwise love), and has a color (#2) that works on my fair but not THAT fair and also very very pink skin. Love the look of the shimmery sheer-black Surratt lid lacquer ... for the first thirty seconds, after which it's a greasy creasy mess. :(
@@flowerfinder-f1e It doesn't seem to on me! But then, it depends on what your baseline for "hard set, transfer-proof" is? These days I avoid both heavy-coverage AND flat-matte finishes, which tend to be the most durable and transfer-proof. If you're familiar with the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin serum tint thing in the flat rectangular squeeze-bottle, the Sigma is pretty similar in feel and finish -- not super heavy coverage, and it does "set" a bit on drydown, but the Sigma yields a better and smoother finish on my skin. The DM tends to REALLY cling to and highlight any dry/flaky/texture areas, which is partly due to the fact that shade #2 is both a bit too light and very much too yellow for me, but I do think it's also partly the formula!
@ thank you so much! As someone with dry skin I also gravitate away from super matte products but was interested in something that sets down just a bit so that I may wear day to day just hanging out around the home a my partner. Many thanks again
@@flowerfinder-f1e I'm finding it very skin-friendly and easy to use! And fyi, I found mine on YesStyle for like twenty bucks instead of $40 at Ulta :D (Downside is that it'll take at least 10 days to arrive)
If you do fancy testing some new perfumes one day and you’re enjoying more herbal scents, I highly recommend a new Lush perfume called Hungarian Fronds - it honestly smells like you’re in a beautiful clean and calm spa! Herbaceous magic with a bit of citrus and a chamomile tea feel. Although if you prefer sweet scents, I really love Lalique Le Parfum…. A light vanilla with a bay leaf note (or Diptyque Eau Duelle edt of course… green vanilla heaven!). The bonus is that they all have beautiful bottles too! :)
That powder eye shadow that you put in the trying new makeup could look amazing with the Ami Colé liquid eyeshadow! I’m begging to at least see them swatched side by side. Please and thank you!
I recently decluttered and organized my make up. I own around 55 make up items, all in all. That's probably more than I need but not so much that I would not still know all my products personally. I am curious: How many products do you guys have, ball park number? Do you feel comfortable with that number and why?
I'd really appreciate if you could swatch Nars Bewitched next to Merit's Equestrian for comparison - I love how the Nars looks but I already have the Merit (LOVE that shade) and want to see if it's similar x
Love your asmr. Merit L’avenue is the perfect color but too drying for me. Have you come across any balmy formulas that can dupe L’avenue’s color? I ask because you did such an amazing videos of Merit swatches and tinted balms.
Also loooove l'avenue, and even though it's less drying for me than many lipsticks, it still dries me out if I try to reapply it or wear it more than once a week. I don't know if the colors would be spot-on the same, but the Rabanne lovebalm and the Phytosurgence Calm Conditions tinted balms are both awesome and I think similar to the Merit lipsticks in how kind of natural and lovely they look on the lips and how they wear. I would check out the Rabanne in Bloody Kiss (it looks more wine colored but they're very sheer and muted, so it could work) and the Phytosurgence in Brave Break...
I have the same issue with L’avenue. I realized that the Chapstick Total Hydration in Merlot was a very very close, balmier (cheap!) dupe. Wish I could switch out their packaging! I’m now using L’avenue as a blush and merlot on lips.
@ Same for me! If I wear it for a day then my lips are dry for a week afterwards. Thank you for the suggestions. I will check them out. BTW I also had the same experience with the Bobbi Brown Crushed lipstick. Loved the colors but dried out my lips.
I am confused by "amber" scent because I have worked with amber (drilling european amber beads) and the smell is exactly like turpentine (which makes sense as amber is fossilized tree sap)
Love your videos. I watch all of them. Is it possible to remove the ‘moving noises’ when you speed up between takes? Maybe it’s great for people who like ASMR but it… it’s like nails on a chalk 😢
Who doesn’t love 49 minutes with Hannah? 👏🏼♥️
I send your declutter videos to my sister whenever she is struggling with insomnia and I can’t stay up any longer with her. ♥️

I’d kill to feel like Jan has ballerina vibes. Where I live it’s more like SSRI vibes. I’m struggling
This sounds really fun to me and I might actually copy your idea. I love a good themed activity!
Love this idea! I change out what makeup I have on my table and handy each month to maximise use but I love the idea of creating themes too!!
@@jackdaw99 I like the idea of an SSRI makeup look!
