- Leif Thulin and James Barlowe discuss in a class described as being devoid of stars, who are the All-Stars to be from the 2024 class. Is Rob Dillingham a star hiding in plain sight? Why is Sarr number 1 but not as likely to be an all star? Is All-Star Potential and most likely to be an All-Star a different question?

Note that Hart and Brunson were 4 year players who really developed nice they played in the league. Which brings me to Dalton Knecht who will immediately surprise. He has the build, handle, aggression and touch.
I won’t even say Edey, but we do need more high-usage bigs in the NBA. They’re usually great sources of scoring volume and efficiency.
Love AJ Johnson for Utah, with one of their later picks 👌🏽
who do you think are the best positional rebounders in this draft class
I roll my eyes every time someone mentions Topic. Get real. I’d take Dillingham over Topic any day.
Here-here, Dilly will be drafted before Topic, not sold on Topic at all as lottery pick even.
I'm taking the big point guard who doesn't play defense over the tiny point guard who REALLY doesn't play defense.
@@scottwickett1273 🤡 The Hornets better not take EITHER. Dillingham plays bigger than his size, and he’s lightning quick, which is an elite quality to have. I expect he will be fine on offense and defense in the NBA. He’s going to have to defend to play and he’ll be fine on the perimeter.
@@traydevon Dillingham is a tiny no-defense bench player.
I think Barlowe is definitely better at speaking than evaluating talent. Even the people he compares to incoming rookies is a little wild
Kel'el Ware if he ends up in New Orleans or the Lakers (because I believe the Pelicans gave the Lakers back a pick and is taking their pick next year) both of these teams to me could use a big, the Lakers I think they could start him quickly, and have AD at the 4, Lebron at the 3 if he stays, Reeves at the 2, and D-Lo at the 1.
Most “swag” = most All Star potential, according to James Barlowe. Who has the “swag”? Dillingham and Castle. I agree about Dillingham, though, because he plays an electric style, can score from anywhere, and he can create his own offense. If his assists and steals come through, he’ll be a top NBA PG even at his height.
He's a tiny no-defense bench player.
Bub Carrington could be a lottery pick. I don't understand how so many YT have him in the 2nd round. 6'5" PG that play defense, create separation and get his shot off the dribble, can handle the point and run PnR don't grow on trees. He is as talented as any player in this draft class.

Maybe borderline All-Star in this draft...
James Barlowe saying Castle has all star potential loses all credibility with him. Castle can be good but not an all star. That is pretty clear.. especially being a guard.
There may not be an all star in this draft
