Awesome work. It's good to see someone skillful enough to carve the waves in to the flag, rather than place plunks together and burn the lines. Well done, on your work, and look forward to see more .
Colbe, Great design and woodworking on your flag. I made a wooden American flag for my son several years ago, and I wanted it to look like it was flying on a flagpole instead of flat as many of the flags shown on TH-cam that are made. You've accomplished the same thing, in a more realistic way with your design. I would send you a photo of the one I made, but I can't attach a photo here on TH-cam. Barry Litchfield, Canyon Lake, TX.
I google American flag dimensions and it gives you the proportions of each item depending on what overall size you want. the waves I just drew on in a way I thought looked good.
Nice work. Thought about making something for my mom! I wondered why did you also make some waves as well on the back? Why not keep it flat so easier to mount on the wall?
Love the flag I was wondering what you used to stain the wood? Dye or stain? Did see a little burn on the flag did you burn the wood before staining it? Thanks
Thank you for the information. I am in the process of making a flag and I did not what to pay for stain that is very costly to say the least in tinted water base. The dye seem like a much better idea and the colors is truer also. Thanks Again. I am still in the process of sanding my flag out . I will finish it up this week I am hoping if the weather holds up @@colbepeasewoodworking501
Super cool flag, BUT... if you are going to make a video of something that ppl are going to want to make, also...please try to at least put cut lengths, measurements etc... I would honestly prefer if you spoke in the video and described what you did, but at least the info on what you did would have been nice. ;)
Absolutely Amazing! You do beautiful work!🇺🇲
That looks great bud
Good job man 👍👍👍
Good job my friend 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇧🇷

So cool bud. Anyone should be proud to have one of those.

Beautiful work on the American flag Colbe! Thanks for sharing the video.😎👍JP
Good job and great woodworking skills! That looks awesome!!
I do flags also. My next desired style is the waves in the flag. Where can I get the disc for the grinder?

Awesome work!
I have never seen the fabric dye approach. It looks like it worked well. What made you go with it? Awesome work as well.
nice job flag looks great
very nice
Now that's a work of art ''WOW'',where did you get the 'stars stencil' ?
I just googled 50 stars template I believe.
Nice job ! 👍🏽
Amazing job
Where did you get the measurements for the union, stripes and where to sand it at to make it wavy?
I google American flag dimensions and it gives you the proportions of each item depending on what overall size you want. the waves I just drew on in a way I thought looked good.
Very nice build. How did you measure for your lines?
Nice work. Thought about making something for my mom! I wondered why did you also make some waves as well on the back? Why not keep it flat so easier to mount on the wall?
That is one of the best waving wooden flags I have seen on TH-cam (and I have watched a lot of flag videos!)
Looks great!! What grit sanding disc did you start with? Did you finish with the same grit? Thanks.
Beautiful work I would like to buy one from you how do I go about it
out of all the other waving flag designs I think yours is the best, but I'm confused as to why you put the waving pattern on the back as well.
Great Work! I want to try one like this as well. What blade did you use on the grinder?
it was just an 80 grit flap disk
Have you had any problems later down the road with the wood glue separating?
Great job.
Can you give the dimensions of the blocks you cut?
Awesome!
Excellent work, I had to subscribe 🤠
Very cool. Are you using an ink or is it a stain ?
its Rit Dye I got from walmart
Ill have to check it out. Thanks.
Wow that's nice! I want to try it. What kind of glue u using to hold it together?
just regular wood glue
Nice!
Love the flag I was wondering what you used to stain the wood? Dye or stain? Did see a little burn on the flag did you burn the wood before staining it? Thanks
I used Rit dye. usually its for fabrics but it works great on wood. I did hit it with a blow torch before dyeing.

Is it that hard for people to talk to us when making a video
Where’s your guard?
