- I wanted to make a video and the footage i got was.. well pretty pathetic
i tried turning into a video anyway to get some practice editing and I'm thankful i did because i couldn't image editing an 1 hour video.
I used davinci resolve for this and it took me about a day.

It's even funnier when that very same chain of events happens with bros that actually have shields on them, you miss everything but the nomads never miss because backstabber and 55 attack + swords & spears = a very bad time

Ah, Battle Brothers, it has been a while since I've touched that game & it seems like to have changed a lot, what I did early on in a ironman game, with everything on expert, was pick one faction's caravans to raid to fund my company.
When I had about 7-8 Brothers with decent armor, weapons, extra health from that one perk on them, and rotation on a few, I would start doing contracts, keep raiding caravans, and it would go from there into the mid game.
I've heard before that just picking out one of the noble houses and raiding their caravans is the way to go if you want to gear up fast, one day I'm gonna play northern raiders where I'm actually forced to do that so I get better.

@@Geso18 Caravans are free money that you sometimes grab whilst not even being in hostile territory since they travel around the map, supply caravans can get you relatively easy heater shields, billhooks and arbelests really quickly, larger patrols have zweihander and heraldic knight helms which are both the best non-named gear you can get for nimble and forged but ofc demand getting comfortable with fighting +20 groups of northerners
If you don't want to make enemies with an entire house due to the seed layout you can fight 1 npc mercenary company without much consequence if they were being employed by some random village and not a larger house itself - relations will drop to hostile with the village to -100 but the wider faction will take less of a hit. Early mercs are not that rewarding besides the potential warbow but the late ones can come with good weapons and armor to swipe, much better than what footmen could bring
You can also see an attached hedge knight in a sellsword group from day 1 and whilst one can easily wipe the floor with a whole pre day 40 company depending on the weapon its still possible to dagger them down if you're mad confident (and preferably have a whip on someone with mastery and backstabber)

The most infuriating thing is that you can attack 7 times in a row at 60% chance and miss all the time. Then you reload quick save and enemy lands all cricts in head killing lvl 8 bro
Thats why i use mods to remove rng out of the game, the aspect of losing the game although you did all the preperation, good positioning and have good brothers because of shit RNG is extremely tedious since there is nothing about skill in it. I would suggest rng remover mods to you guys as well, rng is a flaw of vanilla battle brothers.
