Hi Carmen! So I have the book and been trying to implement the fasting lifestyle. My only concern is fasting while on day one and the first couple days of my period. Because should we be trying to nourish our bodies and eating healthy while we’re loosing so much. I’ve been doing some research on it.
Day one starts the day after your period ends. It's best to avoid fasting during your period, as your body needs nourishment. Eating extra healthy the week before your period can really help minimize cramping and those uncomfortable symptoms, especially if you have fibroids. Personally, I never fast during my period.
