The 100 day project 2024 - Day 1

The 18. February is the day The 100 days project begin in 2024. It’s a worldwide thing, where you commit to do a craft discipline for a 100 days. It is totally up to you what you do. This year 2024 is the fifth time I will do the challenge. I have given it some thought, what to do this year. I don't have much time, so I will only do some small mixed media pieces . Perhaps I will change something from weak to weak so it still will be exiting. I will make them and put them in my brass box. All the papers I use in the small pieces are my own gel prints. Every Saturday there will be a new video of the 7 collages for the past week.

Thank you, you can do it in a book form, I have done that several of the years (fx last year look for the playlist) but you have to work flat. I have put all kinds of bits and bobs on, so if I put to. A book they would bee squeezed or the book would not be able to close

Oh I love this. I have sooooo many papers from my gelli plate. All are very abstract. It is overwhelming when I see the amount and have no idea what to do with them. Now I know. I'll take one sheet, A4, cut it maybe in 4x4 , get some threads, spray some cloth to match/contrast the colors in each square & go for it.... it will take time to get thru my stack, so that's my challange , 1 square a day 😅... you've spired me. I've always wanted to add materials & threads. I know it may sound strange, but for me , dometimes it all gets too overwhelming and I end up doing nothing.. so thank you. ❤😊

Thank you, No it don’t sounds strange, that’s why I have my small boxes and not all my materials on my table. You can always fill more in your small box when the best things are used and you need new inspiration. Good luck with your project

❤ I love this! I’ve been looking for an idea for a birthday card for my daughter and this will be a perfect project. I’m going to look in my stash later and see what I have available. I just noticed you also do gelli prints. This is perfect as my daughter got me a gelli plate for Christmas. She’s the artist of the family … I just pretend to be one 😂😂😂 …. I’ve subscribed!

Thank you for sharing this idea. I know that I am late to join in. But I do know that I have been doing something creative every day for the last month. It may have been something different from day to day. But I have been making a conscious effort to get back to being creative. Something that helps me relax and feel good about life.
