The twin sister kept stating parts of her dresses she felt the bride wouldn't care for. She was clearly going in with the mindset of helping while having fun.
I thought it was a better system for utilizing your time at first, but they only have one consultant so one bride is still waiting on her to dress the other one, and since the sister was trying on dresses more to her tastes than ones the bride picked out it really didn’t speed things up unfortunately.
This is so right! I have a twin sister and it’s a great feeling when we do the same things together and we aren’t competitive about it at all, but supportive instead.
The way the sisters are cooperating and not arguing like every other sisters on this show is mind blowing

I thought the idea to compare dresses was really cute. It's pretty clear the girls just thought it would be a fun and different approach to dress shopping that would help the bride with her decision.
In the English version they seem to like each other a whole lot more. It's almost like Americans are raised to hate each other.

I honestly loved that dress on her! I'm usually not into feathers that much but this looked good since they were on the bottom, not the full skirt.
That comment about the bride being too old for the dress was weird too, this is not a "little girl"/"teen" type of dress. At least to me it's quite beautiful and womanly, a bit like a diva in a way. Also I absolutely adore the way that shape looks on her.
They could've just said they weren't huge fans of the dress like normal people do, but they wanted to put her down. There's no reason to go out of your way to make childish insults about a paid dress one month before the wedding. A grown man making chicken noises at the bride in a bridal gown shop is absolutely embarrassing. I'm so glad she had the strength to stand up for herself.

The closests thing I have for a twin is my big sis. She's two years older than me but people say we look like twins. We may have some similar features and our b days are four days apart, but we are complete opposites sometimes. And we don't really fight we more or less bicker about some stuff

@Boston Guy Once the bride has bought the dress and it has been ordered and delivered and in alterations, the only thing a friend or relative who doesn't like the dress can do is tell the bride she looks beautiful or that she looks like a bride or looks so happy or that the dress is perfect for the bride. Telling her she looks like a chicken or making barnyard noises is not very productive or kind.

The time for catty comments, is BEFORE a dress has been purchased. After it's "the" dress, all comments should be kind and accepting, since it can't be changed at that point.

I real hate to say it, but the bride set herself up for those comments by asking her entourage “does anyone not like this dress?”, knowing that her sister doesn’t have the same taste as her and has most likely received quite a bit of criticism from her. That’s why beware when asking loved ones what their opinion because many will be 100% honest if you do. I think she should’ve tried to get her entourage to say something positive by asking a safe question like, “do I look like a bride, or what?!”

It was touching how involved the sister was in the appointment, not because of meddling or jealousy, but being a help and supportive. She picked a good dress for her. It was a sweet family. As for the other group: One does not insult the bride's choice, especially when they've already bought it, and the wedding is only a month away. I totally agree with you. A satin ribbon looks like a cheap afterthought - they put them around celebration cakes here in the UK (and even that is tacky!). As for the blingy belts... don't start me on those! I have developed an allergy to them.
@@seaglass22 I actually liked the satin belt (no telling how much that piece of material cost though) on this dress, but of course, we didn't see it without a belt. sometimes I think the belts don't work with the dresses. My problem would be if the consultant wanted to add a belt, I would have to check prices first. It's like when a store clerk brings me outfit ideas, but she brings full price when I shop off the clearance rack! I won't be shopping at Bridals by Lori if I am ever blessed to be married unless I find an incredibly rich husband.

Let's be real here, they are more than sisters. They came from the same egg & grew in the uterus together. Twins share a connection that is on a whole 'nother level! So I think this was sweet. Her sister was trying to help, and she wanted her sister to help. And in the end it worked out perfect! That was very special.

I'm sorry but a bridal dress doesn't have an age limit. 40 isn't 100 and even if it was she can wear whatever she wants for her big day. As a sister myself I wouldn't be so nasty.
I still can't get my head around spending $2500 on a dress.... mine was £250 and i wore it to both parties (wedding and post wedding party)
I hope to one day be able to find something for around $300, but I may never get the chance to get married anyway. And I would definitely wear it for ceremony and reception. I think it is sad to get a beautiful dress only to change - even if the other one is pretty too.
@@joyfuljaj you most certainly get beautiful dresses on a relative budget. $300 is still a lot of money! My dress was actually a bridesmaid dress, I just had it made in ivory with added crystals. I wore it on the beach for our wedding. Cost doesn't matter, its how it makes you feel. X

I kind of think that show tried to make the twin sister look like the villain? Like "She needs to sit down so the bride can have her moment >:(" as if the sister was trying to steal the spotlight lmao? Both the bride and her sister were ok with the plan of them both trying on dresses, it wasn't as if her sister wanted the attention all on her. I've seen so many people on this show that are jealous of the bride, and the one time someone isn't they make her seem like the bad guy anyways lol.
