Both India and China have their individual strengths of how to develop, grow and prosper.
In comparison, the Chinese system of government is holistic, super efficient, very organized, competent and focus.
Its leaders are dedicated, very well educated, trained, and experienced in governing a huge pro-business, hard-working, fast learning and innovative population!
Hence the leaders can work and plan with the people to effectively implement and execute national plan targets every 5 years in short terms, mid-terms 25 years, and in long terms of 50 to 100 years!
However the unique and effective Chinese ways of governance cannot be exported to or copied by any other Governments the world over! 😊

@@garylin2732 : If China were really successful, why China needed to use the American language and use the American currency? China should strictly use only the Chinese language and Chinese currency. Why you are using the American language? Did you ever feel your ability to use the American language is equal to your success? In China, anybody using the American language will be paid a higher salary. Of course higher salary is equal to success.

@@legpol It was that attitude which led to the century of humiliation in China. The Chinese have learned from that mistake. Use the tools available to you to maximum effect and that will lead to the most successful outcome.

Susan: yes, we can learn from others. To do so, we must first learn their language, which is largely the English language because English is the language in which all the sciences and technologies were written.

India can grow fast but not faster than China did before 2008, like China GDP growth hit 14% in 2007,
1.Even West wanted to support India against China but West purchasing power shrunk so much after 2008 wallstreet crisis, also West wants to keep industry in homeland,
2.India economy is still very socialist, nationalistic, Indian government not only target Chinese investment even Western company,
3.China would move low-end industry to ASEAN so India is not only one, it means India would need to compete with ASEAN in future but ASEAN is in RCEP,
4.India democracy is chaotic, slow, unefficient, Indian politicians are too lazy and corrupt, too slow too improve infrastructure.

This is the reality. Sure, India will grow at a faster pace but India's GDP is coming from a much lower base

"India can grow fast but not faster than China did before 2008, like China GDP growth hit 14% in 2007," - I agree with this. But also India doesn't need to, especially since India is following a natural population curve.
And everything else you said is mostly true but vastly irrelevant for India's growth story.

@@charlizet4314 He also made some other comments which incentivized me to write that comment. But I cannot see those comments now.
Anyways, his comment of Indian alliance with the west will make the gap wider, is factually incorrect. Remember, China started to grow rich only when it started to open itself up to the western markets. India is trying to do the same.
I understand Chinese hostility towards India which is apparent in this comment section. Even Kishore is only admired when he praises China. The moment he talks anything good about America or India the comments become "dirty Endian ............" by Chinese commentators.
It is what it is. India might be poor now. But India is definitely not stupid. The attitude toward India by Chinese is equal to the attitude towards Chinese by Americans.
