Read history and examine issues involved. Palestine was a name given by British in 1920 to territory now consisting of parts of Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Israel, Gaza, west bank. They declared that in it they will also constitute an Arab state and a Jewish state. In 1947 UN proposed a Partition plan which was accepted by the Jews but not by the Arabs. the Partition plan ,Muslim majority areas were for Arab state and Jewish majority areas plus Negev desert for state of Israel. Palestine as a State was first talked about by PLO in 1960s. In 1947 west Bank was absorbed by Jordan and Gaza by Egypt. Alphabet ''p'' doesn't exist in Arabic language, therefore, Palestine as a name could not have been Arabic!

I guess Kishore still has to sell books in USA and the West and be invited onto talk shows in the West. disappointing.
There is a difference between being polite and ass kissing and protecting your own moneyed interests at the expense of Palestinian lives. Kishore as a public speaker has responsibility to speak the truth and call out Israel in the strongest terms possible in order to save Palestinian lives. If even one life is saved or even one child starves for one day less, then he should have done it.

It not only dented the US public standing, it showed to the whole world, that the constant babbling of a rule based order by the US is nothing
but hot air. I dont know if somebody in the US even took notice but within 1 month the US showed everyone that they no longer adhere
to Common Law (suspend contracts unilaterally), International Law (by denying an attack on an embassy to be an act of war) and the UN
Charta (by declaring a UN resolution as non binding). Add to that the constant braking of its promises and you realize that the US is
simply not trustworthy anymore to every country on the planet. The US has followed Israel blindly into the world's garbage bin...

The thing about America is - you can hate it all you want, but they will forever be the center of cultural significance, and thereby always the leader of the world, in the hearts and minds of many. It is the center of ideas, ideologies, music, entertainment, innovation, technology - that to avoid consuming anything American is to simply avoid the modern and civilized world. I think there's nothing done to the American image that hasn't already been done (through their own actions). This will simply be a small blip that will soon be forgotten in the long history of humanity's many tragedies.

@@sksim6154 If those things you've listed are the best exports you know from the US, I would encourage you to do a bit more reading. The devices you use to post your comments here, and the Internet itself were all created in the US. The concept of the startup for which all the great apps, tools and services we use daily spring from - and many of those services themselves, originate from the US. The early sparks of AI, space tech , nuclear fusion energy as you can see now - originate also from the US and will be a roadmap for the rest of the world to follow. The very concept of individualism - on which you stand for when you freely voice your opinions in public is also a US export. On popular culture, the US gave us Hollywood, Netflix. You watch movies don't you? . On music, the US invented entire genres - jazz, rhythm and blues, rock and roll, soul, hip hop, pop, country, R&B. And the example of burgers - healthy or not, it's globally consumed by every race in almost every single country on earth. So let's put it to rest that the US has been a great force to influence the rest of the world in many ways, and will continue to do so. Has the US committed gross atrocities and are they political hypocrites? Yes. But look beyond the impermanence of administrations, and on the longer timeline of Western history, and you'll realize many of the things the rest of the world takes for granted today are the products of American culture and ideology. And that will continue to shape the world we live in. The wars happening today will come and go, but American cultural hegemony will continue to dominate, as it should. America's image will not dent any more than it did 10 years ago when it invaded Iraq, or 50 years ago when it invaded Vietnam.
