How cold does your AC get in the summer time? Bought one used and just wondering if it needs service to the system..not the coldest AC I've experienced.
Mine is a 2008. It’s now done 140000 miles and runs like a dream. I totally agree with those who think the latest models are out of proportion at the rear. Overall I think they look bling.I’ve looked at what new SUVs are on the market and quite frankly I can’t see anything better. True mine is an EX so has all the bells and whistles but apart from the current obsession with “infotainment” and better fuel consumption they don’t really offer anything mine hasn’t already got.
My favourite is 2010 like that one, i think its the coolest cr-v model because the style is so cool and round, i like it than the other ones, i think the new one is soooooo ugly but this one that you are recording is the coolest one in my opinion
I love my 2010 CR-V. It’s still going strong at 12 years now with only 89,000 miles. My middle AC vents don’t blow consistently but the only thing I’ve had to do besides oil and filter changes is to need new tires and batteries! I love my CD changer for audiobooks, too. When I was buying it, the description was “a hippo on wheels!” Not a turtle!
We bought our Gen 3 2011 CR-V EX-L new and it still runs/drives great with 218,000 miles on it. I love that the engine is pretty much bullet proof and I can do basic maintenance myself. Sure, it's kind of plain, but for me that's a plus. It has great interior space for a compact SUV, excellent gas mileage, and it's easy to maneuver. The only major expense was to replace the AC compressor several years ago. I honestly think I'll get 500K miles from this vehicle, maybe more.
My previous car was in the 06 Honda Element with a similar shifter design and no console to get in the way. I could actually crawl across to the passenger side if I didn't want to get out of a parallel parking space on the side of traffic. Also handy entering on the passenger side if someone parked too close to your driver's side. The first time I saw this generation of CRV I wasn't crazy about it. My favorite is a 2nd gen the current generation looks okay.
This generation of the CR-V is my favorite. For one thing, getting rid of the tailgate mounted spare tire is a plus and the flow of the rear lights is perfect. In the latter generations of the CR-V, the (upper) rear lights look like after thought. Also the rearmost window designs and the rear proportions just don’t seem right (tad bit long) as the 3rd generation.
2nd generation is my favorite. It’s probably the most solid and well-made. But I do like how they deleted the tailgate spare for the 3rd. All the first three generations are slow as dirt though. Okay for flatland driving.
I totaly agree with your experience of driving handling of this car, also the low torqe and needed gearshifts to encrease speed. have borrowd a 2010 model crv . Im also noticed the roadnoise , spesial from the rear wheels. They have a bad soundproofing from the factory. Outside in the wheelroom there is no exstra cover to stop rain or sand to go directly upp in the bodyframe. The metalplates have not any antivibration mass sealed to it. The big wheel room just make a big ressonans when driving. In general the doors, and sideboards also is missing any good isolation, thankfully it have improved on newer models.
In my opinion the best looking CRV, the third generation the one before FL even nicer, the FL has been done just to change something. Some designs are top, you can not enhance them any better. I've owned a 2.2 diesel from new 2008 and with 220kkm it does not give me any reason to change it, the only reason would be to boast of buying a new car.
Would be interested in a comparison to the early (2012-14) 4th generation CR-Vs. I had a 2012 and never felt lacking for power, though it wasn’t fast by most means. I did drive a couple of 3rd gens before getting the 2012, both of which felt quicker, even the 2008 with the less powerful engine. The armrest thing duh into my left leg though, while the 2012 felt more roomy.
There is an important foot operated pedal missing on that car. It's ok though, I've been told the vehicle will still ooperate without it, just in a constant mild limp home style mode.
Yeah, he didn't even know how to fold the rear seats all the way up to show off the huge cargo space. You would also think they he would clean the interior out before doing a review video of the car.
Eric Nava I thought you had to take out the rear seats to get max cargo room on these? Maybe I’m mistaking it for the 2nd gen? No flat floor like the newer ones have, but the newer ones also don’t have reclining rear seats.
It’s coincidence not ironic ironic is the opposite of there had been a suv of the opposite sort behind you. Coincidence why do so many people just wanna sound smart and just look stupid and irritating
Kirk Honda CR-V 2010 model is my car and you called it a garbage, how dare you im not gonna sub to you and not like your vid. Think before making this vid because others (and me) who are watching this vid that owns that car can be sad
Still rockin a 2010. Just hit 100K miles this year, not a single issue with it in 10 years.
you bought it brand new at 0 mileage ?

@@beronib888it gets pretty cold even in 32°/90F plus for me
got me a 2010 also, love it.
@@FCT8306onTwoWheelshow many miles?

The "obnoxious" cargo cover mentioned at about 10:30 is actually a shelf. Capacity is 20 lbs.
This is the exact vehicle that I'm waiting to buy
Thank you for the review.
I have a 2007 diesel in France, best car I ever owned.
I have a 2009 LX and I love it.
I love my 2011 CRV, runs like a dream!!

What was the AC doing before replacing? I have one that blows cool but not really cold enough for Texas heat😅

ecoRfan 2nd gen with a manual is actually quick and fun to drive.
I agree, it's a TURTLE!
11:19 it does do that, there's a strap you pull at the back of the seat

Umm.......the transmission in the 2010 CR-V is a 5 sped auto, NOT a CVT! And not a 6 spd.
He was speaking about the 2015 CR-V, not this one.
Got one with around 345k kms she’s got no AC but I literally haven’t had any other issues
The seats fall flat you don’t know hw to do it.
He doesn’t know a lot about this car.
I’ll give “ D” for his review!
I have a 2010 crv with 50k miles. Not much usage but it held well over all these years. I wonder how much it will sell for
Is it available for sale? I'm in the market for a crv
Stop! I have a 2009, just bought it by the way and now I have an image of a turtle in my mind! lol
You forgot to mention there is a secret compartment under the front passenger seat
i want one but cant really settle with the looks

The car looks like a turtle? For crying our loud, can't you tell the difference between a turtle and a tortoise?
Is that you Ben Affleck?
Driving a 2020 crv- slow at start from complete start.

What is the missing foot operated pedal? Clutch pedal??
@@michaelbryant4772 Yes, the clutch pedal.
at 12:23 did he cut that guy off :D
The manual ones are far better the only thing that breaks on them is the auto box
One video at a time brother and you will soon hit than 1k
Javaughn Lovelace thanks for the inspiration and support!
It has 190 horsepower. They upped it 2010.
Its actually 180 hp
Honda+ Google pixel fan from India says Hi 👋
The seat belts also work.
I LIKE TURTLES!!! LOL
"I didn't do the research" then don't upload a review. I want to know the deets on the engine.
This was filmed in Omaha wasn't it ;)
I think I the seats fold to the back like the Odyssey
On the 4th generation they do. I don't believe they fold that way in this 3rd generation. Thanks for watching, Jose!

I like the turtle the animal hahaha of course
The need to make the meet ones with a space in the front between the front sheets how these models and earlier models have similar to vans

You can't go very fast anywhere these days. 70 tops,,, or get nicked.. cameras, everywhere. Damn joke driving now..
Newer one doesn't look like a cockroach
I like the 2013 better it does look like turtle 🐢
U talk a lot of BS. U have no idea of this CRV. Informe yourself first. Smh
