Gabrielle poisoned her daughter for Xena. Gabrielle left her new born daughter in a basket, because she wanted to be with Xena. I am not sure if Xena loved Gabrielle more than her children, but am sure Gabrielle loved Xena much more than Hope, even before being convinced that Hope was evil.

Also, Xena certainly couldn't live without Gabrielle, but could live without her children. She accepted Solan's death and never tried to return him from the otherside. But when she thought Gabrielle had died, Xena risked her life including crossing to the otherside to see her soulmate again and find a way to bring her back.
@@xenagabrielle7652 Gabrielle didn't abandon Hope because she loved Xena more. She did it to protect her child, because she knew the only way to save her life was to convince Xena that her daughter was already dead. Had Gabrielle run away with her baby, Xena would have easily chased them down because she was more skilled than Gabbie, and that much she knew. That's why her only way out of the situation was to fake Hope's death and remain with Xena as if nothing had happened.
Well, it was a rather dumb decision from Gabrielle to protect Hope despite all the signs that indicated that it's a bad idea.

Though I`ve never associated with this series, I find the character of Xena to be so sexualized, I imaged what her future what be like with some men in her life. That is, until she had her alley, Gabrille, who is considered to be her lesbian partner throughout their adventures, until Gabrille starts giving birth to the son of Dahak, an evil god. Until, it became likely later on in the series that XENA`S newborn baby was likely to be with Gabrille.
Gabrielle had a daughter, not a son. Xena had a son first, then a daughter of her own later.
And Gabriellle was never really a mother she never voncieved a child with a man and had a normal pregnancy and a mortal child, Solan Xena's son was concieved naturally and was a mortal and was killed becayse of gabrielle, Eve was a miricake baby via Caliesto but was carrued and born mortal and grew and lived as a mortal.
