    You picked up a bargain. The ZZR600 are terrific bikes. It would be well worth getting your seat reupholstered with gel inserts. Makes for much more comfortable time in the seat.

    I would like to add that this motorcycle is stable even in rainy weather. It is a sport cruiser not a sportsbike, that is why it has the side clips on the seats for bungee cords.

    I own this motorcycle but I have a 1996 version. I agree with everything you said about this bike even with the seat pushing you forward but you have to slide back once in a while. I bought it with 30k miles and put 30k more due to commuting. It is a reliable/cheap ride and it behaves nicely until you pass 10k rev then it is a beast. Mines is 25 years old no major issues just maintenance. Thnaks for review

      @hachewie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching. I still have it and love it. I’m looking into a suspension upgrade and what I can do about the seat. Where are you located? There seems to be a lot of ZZR’s in the UK.

      @@hachewie I live in Sacramento, Ca USA. I have 63,000 miles on this bike (still strong, starts at first or second crank) and I got every cent worth. I owned this bike for 8 years now. No leaks or major repairs (just chain and tires replaced) seat has no tears. It is cheap on insurance and low maintenance. I think it is cheaper to keep cuz my brother in law bought a 2003 (he bought new in 2002) yamaha R6 and he rode it for only 14,000 miles sold for a big loss. Wish i could be of help with the seat but I will only replace mine when it starts to rip. Keep up the good work.

    Nice casual review matey. I've had my zzr for a few months now, a year older than yours, and agree with everything you said apart from your view on the seat. I'm the same height as you, perhaps I have a fatter arse and extra padding, but the seat is good for me. It's colder here in the UK so perhaps my nuts tuck up and aren't an issue either. I do love the sound it makes and find myself revving unnecessarily to share it with others!! Love it!!

    I had a 93 one with the teal and black paint, it looked great in that colour, rode back from Newcastle at night in the pouring and rain and kept dry I was amazed, I also blew off a Honda 600F4 at the lights at Manly Vale near KFC he got a slight jump on me but the ZZ hauled him in at around 100k, this was 20 years ago. Wish I had kept it as I think it was the best road bike I ever owned I got used to the seat, loved the engine and it was cheap to own and so practical. I never was caught speeding on it but I don't know how and I guess that was why I sold it, I need a slower bike as I can't help myself and anything with the power of one of these.

    Hello I remember I commented a while ago about getting one myself and hopefully going for a ride together. Unfortunately I couldn't find one suitable and ended up getting a 900cc naked instead. Let me know if it's possible to get together for a ride.

    Picking up a very original clean/tidy 1994 E2 model in Black/Turquoise for a dirty cheap price of £600.
    Bike has been garaged for 2 years but the previous owner drained the tank/carbs when he laid it up and kept the battery charged so still runs/rides but may need a minor service prior to getting it MOT tested.
    Had a few of these ZZR's over the years and they are great bikes, well built and a cheap way of getting a smile on your face.
