Zzr 600's are such reliable bikes never let me down in 30.000 km I rode them. In winter you can buy them super cheap for about 500 euro's here in the Netherlands and sell them in summertime for around 1250 minimum. Great family with lots of humor !!
I have a 1993 zzr I rebuilt a lot of myself. Rode it for awhile now it won't rev over seven grand. Cleaned the carbs and gave it new spark plugs now I'm thinking it's fuel pump cause it's not mounted and was touching the starter and was shorting I think cause the bike wouldn't start with it touching the starter. I have been watching you awhile and know your good with bikes and humble enough to maybe shoot me some ideas of what could be the problem! Let me know and I can't wait to see what you can do with this bike!

When I worked at a car dealership I was a porter there and someone was going to trade in a Buick LeSabre 1989 they had hit a truck and there were no headlights in the front or grill. I paid them $225 for this car it had 186,000 miles but still that was super cheap for running automobile.
this bike is ok,just make small service (oil,filter,sparkplug clean and carburators. Dont forget fuel. Wish happy with zzr600,becouse I had one for 10 years
That’s awesome! $160 for that and all it really needed to start up was a little trickle charge on the battery. That’s cheaper than most 50cc pocket bikes you can get. Makes me wanna hit the marketplace and find a cheap lil project bike.
I had one of these when I was 20 back in the late 90’s, their a great bike for cruising with the comfy seat, raised bars and wind protection. And still a lot faster than many new bikes!

I’m in the same situation as that bike got new carbs, new spark plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter new intake manifold boots for my 2003 ninja that’s been sitting since 2009 and it’s 2023 September lol

I have the same one.utterly great bike and super fast.the clicking on ignition is normal too.if you have battery charging issues its probably the stator.they get fried.and the choke is a pain on mine too.all early kwaks had that all or nothing choke

In the 90s I owned a zzr 600 for 10yrs nice fast nimble bike I loved it. I sold it when wife was pregnant and brought a good family car.
