Kudos to you for being a Brit who is willing to give the Corvette Z06 its due. Americans and Europeans are both very guilty of playing favorites for the home team... so much so that sometimes we aren't willing to admit to greatness when we see it.
We love American cars in Europe, it's just that the prices flip around so they don't stack up. In the US, a C8 is Boxster money. Here in the UK, it's 911 money. A Z06 only 15% cheaper than a McLaren GTS, so anyone who can afford one could afford the other, realistically. Fuel is 1.5-2x more expensive in Europe than the US too, on average, so that's also a factor in us not leaning towards big V8s! Loads of us, including me, are big fans of the cars, it's just that financial proposition which puts them up against cars 1-2 levels higher than what you'd compare them to in the US. Personally, I've ruled out buying a C8 as my next car even though I want a V8, because an LC500 is 25% cheaper 🙄 I want a GT anyway, but I was looking at sillier things 😁

Are y'all high? The car costs north of a ¼ of a million, before spec, realistically, very easily you can double that with dealer specced options. That is not value. I am sorry, it just isn't. It's a phenomenal car but it's not value, period. You're just badge riding 100% if you seriously think it's value in this day and age.
@ lol no. Have you seen the videos racing the two? Revuelto is way faster. 296 goes against the artura and huracan. Again it’s not great value. It’s just a good expensive car. Also the revuelto is $600k. So if I have to buy the Ferrari for say $500k for the gtb, it’s not half.

Take the clock and spin it back a few decades and look what a Lamborghini was, a simple, poorly built car trying to kill you at every corner, yet making you smile whilst at it. Nowadays, we are talking about a well planted, heavy, super-tech powerhouse that offers bonkers looks without the Italian taste, as well as a complicated powertrain. Sure, that NA V12 on the Aventador was still Lamborghini-esque engouh, but the Revuelto (which, in Spanish can also be used to say egg scramble) has a large issue should you ask me; it tries too hard to be an Audi product. The millimetre-precise type of technology that boat needs to push itself accordingly. And then there is the fact that Hybrid engines make an eerie sound when paired with electric motors (The Valkyrie does two).
I have to dispute the M2 being "pint sized" - it's the same length as (and much wider than) an E60 M5 Touring. Carbon wheels to lower the CoG? By reducing mass at the lowest point on the car? Surely they didn't say that... Regarding ratings, while I don't agree with them all, the only surprise was the M5 saloon being higher than the touring. If it doesn't drive like an M car, being a touring makes more sense, so surely the saloon should be a D at best too. Was sort of expecting the Z06 to perhaps get an S too.
Good review update Rory. And Ioniq5N cracking car. Super impressed when I drove one. Only disagreement I have is the Porsche Taycan GT. obviously one of the bug negatives you highlighted was having 4 doors but no rear seats. Well that was with the Weissach package. If you have it without, yes you lose the large rear spoiler, but you can have two rear seats. So I think slightly unfair to downgrade it for that. Especially considering how blistering fast it was around the Nurburgring.
I love the fact that car reviewers are loving the Corvettes now. It took so long to earn that kind of respect, but an American car maker is finally producing something of quality, that everyone loves.

This isn’t Rory’s list. This is the list Rory has been told to present. Rates the S63 a C pretending it’s confusing when it’s the same as every previous iteration before rating the Tesla 3 a B. Furthermore, Rory expects us to believe he thinks the RR Spectre is 2 ratings below a Hyundai. I see the pattern - do you? You’ve lost a lot of credibility with this Rory. Shame.
Why? The Spectre is an ultra luxurious Coupé and the Hyundai N an EV Hot Hatch. Now put them in their own tiers, have you got any direct competitors or alternatives to a bonkers, 650hp EV that emulates shifts? Nope. As for luxury coupés? Yes. Mate Rimac explained well that EVs are not as appealing as ICE power engines for the ultra-wealthy. The Spectre may be impressive in many ways but it surely does not surprise as much as the ballistic Ioniq 5N

That Aston only making 670hp from a TTV12 is shameful. The T.50 does that and it's NA and only 3.9L, the Z06 is also NA and does the same with 4 less cylinders!

They are cars, deal with it. I don't like the vast majority of EV's but just being an EN doesn't mean bad/not a car, you can get some pretty naff ICE cars as well.

The problem with the revuelto is that the aventador exists. Lighter, simpler and has the v12 without the hybrid.
