Jazakallahu khairan for the discussion, it was a powerful reminder. You're right, we need to internalise that riba is a grave sin indeed. However, I was hoping for a refutation of Sheikh Haitham Al Haddad's fatwa that student loan is mudharabah. Otherwise it feels like we're condemning those who follow a fatwa issued by a board of scholars without evidence. Perhaps it is a valid ikhtilaf then? As the great Imām Sufyan al-Thawri said: ‘true knowledge is a concession given by a trustworthy scholar. As for strictness, then that is something everyone can do."

The other day I was thinking about something a family member said to me. Basically that some shuyookh have said that if someone is going to be sad for something to do with their appearance then it’s ok to get it changed. Maybe there is a fatwa on this in terms of extreme cases I don’t know but I doubt in terms of superficial things like a nose/chest job which my cousin was trying to justify. How far will people go with doing impermissible things out of a “necessity”

However, in recent times this channel seems to be only focussed around money related issues and promoting your business ventures. I totally understand that we all need to make money to survive and feed our families but wouldn’t it be more fitting to set up a separate channel for your business endeavours and keep this channel just for naseeha.
I try not to think bad about my brothers but it is starting to feel like this channel is like all those influences out there trying to make money from their followers.

The Prophet ﷺ cursed the ones who give Riba, take Riba, sign Riba contracts & are witnesses to Riba contracts,
So the fact that you’re singing a contract that includes Riba it doesn’t matter if there’s a promotional period or you think you’ll never fall behind in payments etc. if it’s in the contract it’s haram

The prophet wouldn't pray janaza prayer on a person bc he was had debt. A sahaba at the janaza took the debt upon himself so that the person in his grave cld be prayed on. Think about that if you dont have people left behind to pay yr debts what is going to happen to you innyr grave and after life. And all that without riba, just a simple debt. I notice the kingdom wont partake directly but they will give money to a kaffir to partake in riba. This is my one gripe with salafi da'wah. They stop way before the line. It's very wrong of you to assume bad of these brothers. You don't know if they have or haven't advised him. Imran (dawah man) has been talking about yasir qadhi's deviation since the beginning of his dawah journey and is well informed regarding him. I've been subscribed and following Imran for ages, he himself has been in their actual circle and left because of the corruption he saw.
Yasir qadhi isn't new to the dawah scene. In fact he studied at madinah University so he knows better. He studied in Madinah University for 10 years if i remember correctly and went astray some time later. He's very well versed when it comes to these matters and once upon a time preached the actual Quran and Sunnah. If you type up 'Yasir Qadhi refutation' on youtube you'll find a plethora of information regarding his deviation, wrong statements, corrupted beliefs, the whole story is there. I'll put a link to playlist below this which has it all including info about other du'aat. I hope it's of benefit inshallah.
