AT the age of 23 I was about to marry a particular girl. One major reason why I changed my mind and did not marry her was that she was stubborn in falsehood right from the beginning. A soon as I became aware and saw that this stubborness is something I as a man cannot deal with when I have to be in charge I said you know what, I am out of it.

Assalamulikum. I just wanted to appreciate what you guys are putting out and it being very valuable to dear brother and sisters.
I do want to emphasize, the overall message is great. In no way should you put up with a spouse who is stubborn in their ways. Without understanding from BOTH sides, it eventually becomes difficult to be with them.
That being said with my brothers, I found it very helpful to be the kind of man that your wife respects and admires. This means to be the best version of yourself and almost be her catch. I have seen examples of love (non haram)/arranged marriages falling apart because the husband is essentially not a character that she almost simps over. A strong masculine husband is very important in ensuring your wife trusts and understands your point at all times.
Respect her as if she’s the only woman on Earth while ensuring you are achieving things outside of just your marrige.

This podcast should have had in the title "if you have children this podcast doesnt apply to you". MOST women will go through the kuffar courts to get custody of the children. MOST men in the UK regardless or religion will get VERY limited access to their children. This will lead to the children being scarred mentally AND physically. Recommending divorce in the west is dangerous for men.
