Love the Honesty. Been following since your K1 reveal. We need more honesty in reviews of these printers. Keep being you my friend. Loved the Trip to Microcenter for the A1.
didn't you heard the cable problem for the A1?
@@exziarc4600if mine doesn’t have the problem what should i do?
@@exziarc4600 Thanks for that. I think the ENTIRE 3d community heard about it on FEB 4th and 5th even if you don't have a A1. If you had/have a channel it is your duty to tell everyone for safety reasons. Nathan did and made a Cool AI image while doing it.
Fun video! By the way, thank you for alerting me to the Adventurer 5M sale. It has been running well enough, and is more than a suitable replacement for the A1 next to it, which is destined to be returned 😂
“Creality should release a true CR-10 version with dimensions of 300 x 300 x 400, featuring auto bed leveling (eliminating the need for manual adjustments) at a price point of $600. Alternatively, they could introduce a Core XY printer, which doesn’t have to be fully enclosed, but should offer a similar build volume.”
Thanks for this video I was thinking of buying the v3 ke , but I think I will wait for this to launch instead
Don't buy this thing, you will be disappointed. KE cost less money and can outperform this thing in many ways
I'm glad that they at least made an effort to balance the head front to back instead of just hanging it all off the front.
Man i really want this! I was looking for a printer for my son too!! Never owned a creality printer, but have prusa clones and a voron but this looks pretty good
I imagine that the core xz system might work well with non-planar printing. I would love to have a compatible printer for that if it ever becomes practical.
A well setup Ender 3 V2 works well, so I'm glad to see this model doing so well.
Core XY is obviously fast, but has its own issues.
Bedslingers are favoured by Prusa too and they know a thing or two about printers!
Your organizational skills are on point. Lol I thought the release date for reviewers was Feb 20? Seems like an OK printer but I would still go with a k1 if one can be found on sale.
CoreXZ is weird but it's hard to argue with good print results and the speed shown on the second layer of the Torture Toaster. Lots of nice features in this printer and the design looks to be very good. I could really go for a larger bed version of this, with *real* Klipper. I hate Bowden tubes so I'd clip it to have a 25 mm stub sticking out the top of the extruder and top feed it. If it's as reliable as it should be, I can see some small print farms using the V3.
Looks a bit too over engineered requiring more maintenance and added points of failure besides maybe the daughter board that would be near the hot end. Already have two belts to worry about, but now 4? How easy would it be to change out parts compared to previous printers? Looks cool but there still hasn't been anything enticing besides the v3 se and even that looks like a more of a pain to maintain with possibly the hot end too. Ive upgraded my stock ender 3 with bits and bobs from newer designs over the years so on that front I'm still excited to see what the new stuff is capable of! Might do a load cell mod next!
Will you be able to use the sonic pad with it? And would there be a benefit?
Cheap linear rails are trouble. I bought replacement slides. 1 fit and two others would not even go on. The one that fit was loose. I tried them on different rails and got different results. So now when I get rails I just use the ones I got with replacement ball bearings. Seems they fit the carriages to the rails.
I have not forgot to flip the power switch, but I have a friend who has and I had to help him put his 3d printer together🤣
Any idea when they are actually releasing this?
So i got a "production unit" in the mail two days ago and mine came with 3d printed parts.
I like this printer but it seems so noisy. I'd like one if quieter. My modded ender 2 Pro was printing at 150mm/sec & 4000 accel with both 5015s running and sounded quieter than the V3 slow first layer.
When will the launch date be?
I'm sad this was not a in car assembly 😭
The A1 has two lead screws for the z axis this has belts for the z axis.
To me it doesn't make a ton of sense to have all the benefits of core xz for the x axis but the limit of the y acceleration negates all of those benefits. For something that's probably $400 or $300 if we're lucky there are a lot of good core xy options for not much more. Just my opinion
Looks like the v3 K1 extruder too.
How did the toaster turn out?
Just an idea: KEEP YOUR MEAT HOOKS OFF IT WHILE ITS SETTING UP! Damn cant you leave it alone for just a few minutes without touching it.
Amazon in the US had the 5M for 299 +10% off for a total of 277
🥵
I couldn’t help myself for that price…
How did you get 10% off?
looked at all the results and there was one all you had to do is check the box. @@nlambert
Thanks for the video....Can it print TPU through the bowden tube?
Yeah no problem. You can run tpu through a long bowden tube out of a drybox as long as your printer has a direct drive extruder.
@@NvrchFotiawhat about pa12?
You should change your title to CoreXZ, that is not CoreXY
What firmware does this use? Klipper?
excited
Next, the CR-10 V3 coming soon to a Microcenter near to you!!!
I'm so confused. How long do I have to watch until this starts to make sense?
Try jumping ahead!
@2:06:30 I really appreciate you being honest about bambu Lab. I've been going nuts trying to understand the current 3D printer market as I consider upgrading to increase production time and decrease down time. My bullshit meter is at defcon 5 any time I see a Bambu Labs review. No matter what, it is still a 3D printer. It will have maintenance and troubleshooting. I can buy 8 Ender 3 pros, or 1 P1S with AMS. I think 8 enders are going to spank that one P1s in terms of output and quality over the course of a month. More and more, youtube is just soulless shills that have forgotten why they started their channel, and just shill for money now. This includes almost all 3D printer channels. Looking at you Uncle Jessy.
not to be rude but judging by your comment i don't believe you have owned nor tested a bambu or a ender 3 pro.... they each serve their purposes. if you want to go lightning fast on 8 out dated highly prone to maintenance machines that will require modifications and firmware customization to get you what you want then i can promise you that you will find your self deep in a financial deficit trying to clean up the parts, keep the machines operating without 24/7 monitoring and troubleshooting just to realize that they are not made to be speed printers let alone output high quality prints at high speeds. Bambu while on the higher value side of things is also the reason that companies like creality are even selling these printers at such a low cost. notice no one is spending $1000 on CR-10's or ender 5's anymore? because bambu released machines available to consumers that were ground breaking at a fraction of the cost of any 200mm/s two years back. buy machines based on YOUR needs. dont go bashing others preference's because they make youtube videos for a living and yes... they would like to get paid tto do so much like you or i would when we get up for work....
@@Tuffmutt077I have 4 ender 3 pros and 4 neptune 2s. Wasn’t talking about speeding the enders up. Slow prints will always be better quality. 8 slow enders will output more parts in higher quality over the course of a month than one bambu lab P1s for the same price. and they can be specifically set up for certain materials. That was the point. As he mentions in the video where I time stamped, Bambu is the only company that is afraid to send him printers. Why? Aren’t their printers gods gift to man? It’s because they’ve spent more money than any other company on youtube shill marketing to foster a false image of perfection. I just wanted to upgrade, but I’m not seeing a reason to even after 10 years of these enders. the pros still don’t out weigh the cons. I get perfect prints and I understand the machines because they are simple.
Is this going to be worth it over an A1 mini combo that costs $600usd(local distributors price)?
You mean the a1 combo?
@@yobtnirp nope. a1 mini combo, it's too much right? I can get a K1C for that price
@@Otawakun a1 mini combo is 459 usd on their website
How does CoreXZ make sense? So this can do 500mm/s in the Z direction but not having the accuracy of a threaded rod in the Z direction? I mean fast in Z direction is not needed whatsoever. The concept seems confusing to me. CoreXY makes a lot of sense but coreXZ? hmmm
Yeah I’m just as confused as you are, but somehow it works, lol.
Why do you think a threaded rod is more accurate? X and Y is just as accurate as Z on core XY.
You would actually diminish if not remove the chance of Z wobble and Z bind.
By using Core XZ it allows faster and more stable X speeds with cleaner Z motion.
Voron Switchwire is a core XZ printer if you want to see how it improves over a traditional bedslinger.
I’m not an expert, but it seems to me that with a belt driven z axis you are looking at a tiny fraction of a motor revolution to move up a layer height. With a screw you are looking at slightly more of a motor revolution to move up the same amount. That seems intuitive to mean that the screw should be more accurate (any amount of error in motor steps would result in a lower error in distance with screw compared to belt).
Just going off my intuition, I’ll admit I don’t know much about these.
Thank you for explaining what I was thinking but I couldn't put it in words as you precisely did.
@@andrewmiller6051 it’s really not more accurate.
The screw is dependent on the diameter and thread pitch as to how much the motor needs to turn.
With a belt, it’s dependent on the diameter of the pulley.
this video disapeared for two weeks
Last I checked the fastest bedslinger is the one that catches on fire 😂
Like a meteor punching through the atmosphere
Hahah yeah people in the chat Singing the A1 praises but it costs 2x as much and is currently under Mass Recall...yeah I think I save 200 bucks and a house Fire.
@@AlbertoMartinez765chicken
@@AlbertoMartinez765Wait till you get the creality experience and have to repair everything all the time - you'll realise that $200 is not a price saving, it's an allocation for ender 3 repair costs
I'm waiting for a robot build!
This isn't showing up in your channels videos on my end
Did I see grease on the graph bearing?
Maybe… yes
What’s the advantage of corexz???
It looks cool 😎
@@NathanBuildsRobots At least it’s louder :) Do you think it’s also cheaper than lead screws?
Faster, more stable and more precise X
Diminishes z banding, z wobble and z binding.
Core XZ is mainly for the X, but z gets a few perks as well.
Could you fix the title ? That is not a CoreXY, but a CoreXZ.
Yes the title is wrong it’s the Ender3 V3 XZ
CoreXZ
If 300$or less I'd be in for one
I’m sending mine back. Touch screen had dirty fingerprints & gunk on it & unit wouldn’t power on. Voltage switch was set to 115v in US. All outlets verified working. 250w fuse was good in printer. All instructions followed carefully. Very poorly built product. So let down. Now fighting for refund.
I would have been nice if you wireless mic'd yourself.
I really wish I wouldn’t have bought this printer. The back of the bed will not level
Core XY :) :) :)
The name is too short..
I’ll add some random letters and numbers next time!
Very funny
No matter what they do those linear rods will never be perfectly flat so it is not gonna give you better quality than my all axis linear updated Ender 3 v2 Neo with latest Klipper and OMG extruder and Mosquito Hotend... Don't buy this if you want to mod your machine. This thing looks like disaster to upgrade!
It’s not a modders delight… yet. Maybe with some hard work it can be made into something moddable
This would be a beast in a 300x300
They might be working on it 😉
YES I am sure that will come at some point though WTF Creality didn't save the CR-10 Name for that size and instead made a 256x256 small one is beyond me.
You could speed it up a bit its a bit boring .
Sorry, but the mechanics of ender 3 v3 are not corexy. It is coreXZ. You should change the title.
So..................WHY THE @$%?$??#%&% DID THEY RELEASE A SE AND KE AND A CR10 SE WHEN THIS IS COMING OUT!???????? Anyone that bought those should return and get this?
Nah those other ones are fine. They are more moddable. You like mods, right?
You need to fix the title, as well as the picture post that baited me here. This is not CoreXY….
Core XZ, close enough 😅
Easy mistake settle down.
It’s as he said, put it on its side and it’s a corexy
@@DaleBuckleynot really but doesn’t matter
@MrHeHim not even that since it's still using lead screws
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Copying voron much?
Are we talking about creality or bambu lab?
Voron Switchwire is Core XZ
Can you please try to clean up your office?
You need to use a mic when doing these . Your voice is going in and out as you walk away. VERY annoying.
90deg extruded mod for this and make it the cheapest k1🫠
Z axis would be hard to do. Maybe make it the cheapest flying gantry?
CoreXZ ?
