MBW I’m not sure what you mean about “printing too much” but as far as conceal carry goes, it’s the same as any full sized 1911. The only difference between it and my Rock Island 10mm is that the Coonan has a bit more with to accommodate the .357 magnum.
The mall I go to on occasion, has a tiny sign with its rules. One of which is no guns yet they sell guns and ammo in the Dicks and I keep my edc on me cause of course they have no measures to prevent it. Of course I have no ill intent but let's be honest if I, as a responsible gun owner, can bypass that rule so can others who do want to inflict pain or worse. My girl doesn't like guns and can never tell that I'm carrying which means she also can't tell other people are.
Sicarius, in S.C. they are suppose to have a size regulated sign posted in the wide open in order to be legal. Even though it was covered in my CWP class, I still checked with my law enforcement friends to make sure it still holds true because I’ve seen them too. Now, unless they have the legal sign, I carry inside them. Then again S.C. is gun friendly for now.
Steve Johnson I wish my state was like that in a way when it comes to the signs, but then again I feel if the store owner doesn’t want guns in his store and displays the sign, it should be his right. If I don’t want my rights infringed upon, I should not infringe upon his rights. The signs are rare around here, but I still respect their wishes. Plus, if I do carry in a place with the sign and get caught, I’m unemployed. I’m a county employee where Dems run the county.
Bratton Arnette the sign itself is maybe 5x9 with size 10 font and I only even noticed it while having a smoke. They have one unarmed security officer who I've seen possibly three times in nearly 2 yrs, and he's always been in the mall security SUV and might be 19-20, but sure as hell isn't doing anything if someone did decide to do something stupid. So to be blunt, fuck that I have a daughter and IF anything were to happen I'm getting her outta there by any means necessary and I want the most reliable option.
Bratton Arnette thats decent of you and for local stores I try and do the same. My issue is that they sell guns in a store inside the mall, and I would even be ok with not bringing it in if I felt like the people "protecting" the mall actually could.
Good morning, Bratton. I understand your predicament and we all have to make choices based on our individual circumstances, but I want to point out that we should all seriously weigh the risks involved in those choices and their potential consequences. The first thing we have to firmly establish in our minds is why we carry a concealed firearm in the first place. Our motivation, first and foremost, should be to have the ability to protect ourselves and our family members from the dangers we all face everyday. This is the reason why I have been carrying a concealed firearm almost every day for the past 40+ years. On numerous occasions, it was not legal for me to be carrying, but I held that the safety of my family and myself was more important than the small risk of being found out. I always believed that when I was prudently carrying concealed, the only way someone was going to discover I had a firearm was if I had to use it. In that scenario, I would gladly face the consequences of defending myself in a life and death encounter than being forced to face the possibly tragic consequences of not having my firearm. I don't carry a firearm because I can, to make myself feel fashionable, or for any other reason other than for the defense of myself and family. The dangers in our society are real, there are evil people in the world, and they do commit horrific crimes on a daily basis. Having spent most of my adult life as a police officer, I've seen far too many proofs of these truths than I care to remember. Knowing what I know and seeing what I've seen, I am not going to put myself or any of my family members at risk just because a commercial venue doesn't like the idea of people carrying on their premises. I will never put myself or my family members at risk simply for the sake of being polite in yielding to the perilous wishes of some business owner. Now I know I'm not everyone and I'm not advocating people should willfully break the law, but the reality is that some may feel compelled to turn a blind eye to the law in these kinds of circumstances. That said, I believe we should all thoughtfully make these decisions for ourselves and not be judgmental of those whose decisions differ from our own. Be safe everyone.
The sad reality is that if you want to live in a country based on freedom and liberty, you have to understand and accept that sometimes the bad guys win.
Even sadder is that a lot of people in this country have been lulled into believing in a fantasy--that because they have good intentions, everyone around them also has good intentions. They seem so incensed, so indignant, when the bad guys win. Say, are you a real Okie? If so, howdy, another real Okie here.
It's not a matter of bad guys winning, it is just that sometimes bad things happen, especially when the gov't fails on every level to deal with a known problem kid that made a threat comment with his REAL NAME and they didn't do a damn thing about it over 6 or more years. Taking away guns from good people will do nothing to stop the bad ones. Watch the Stefan Molyneux video interview with the father of one of the victims.
I don't know how modern military weapons are but when I was in the Marines in the early 1980's, our M16s had selector switches for either Safe/Semi/Auto or Safe/Semi/Burst, depending on which generation of the M16 you got. The difference between Auto and Burst was that, for Auto, pulling the trigger once would continuously fire the weapon until either the magazine was empty or the weapon jammed. The Burst selection would fire three rounds and stop, requiring another pull for another three rounds, thus conserving ammo and [mostly] mitigating a jam. And even those Marines who got a weapon with an Auto selection were taught to pull the trigger long enough for three rounds or so to fire and then let go, also conserving rounds and mitigating jams.
Got a point there, I'm from the Detroit area, and school shootings don't happen, and Michigan is an open carry state, gun ownership is high, but no school shootings in Michigan and no massacres.
Yucca_Farmer9 if a bad guys knows that 9 times out of 10. The person behind them can carry a gun and shoot them and go home they not going to do anything. FACTS
we got lots of good guys with guns, we just need to put them on school property to deter the bad guys from even showing up....we have armed guards at our military bases, armed guards at our sporting events, the President has armed guards, the list goes on, but we don't want to have armed guards to protect our kids? WAKE UP!
Yucca_Farmer9 I say we hire vets and help get them of the streets. Properly cleared of course. You lower the homeless population, show that you remember our vets by actually doing something and they have previous training.
It's amazing what could happen when you get open and common sense minded people together. No arguing on this set. teach your kids to be good people and sprinkle in some discipline, good things will happen.
How can something be Full and Semi at the same time? Makes no sense. I don't have a gun but just linguistically it makes no sense. To me something is Fully automatic or Semi Automatic.
Well, instead of a prison, make it a castle. A place of refuge that is equally tough to crack, filled with people that want to protect them and set them up for success. No one wants to go to jail, everyone wants to go to Cinderella's castle. It's easier said than done, but it's a direction, at the very least.
I love a good debate butttt...Finally! Here we are, a calm conversation with chill indifferent people who still give a shit despite not having too much of an opinion either way. Refreshing.
Thanks for going on Adam’s Podcast. It’s a good cast to help better inform people that have only ever been fed talking points. I’m pretty disappointed with Bal-Brian’s standard stupid questions that people are use to asking. What can we do to fix these events? Well the better question is, we’ve only ever restricted guns and where are we now? We’ve tried their restricts and surprise surprise they don’t work. You can legislate the evil out of people.
Really appreciated your comments. thank you, always for your intellectual reply to emotional questions... BUT... When he asked you "what do we do about gun violence" I was really hoping you would say "what do we do about "automobile violence"... Cars kill more people than guns! but for some reason that's an acceptable loss, because we NEED to go to Starbucks and buy a latte....🤔🤔🤔 Thank you again for all the hard work that you do...☮️
i just stumbled into one of your videos yesterday. you rock dude. you bring facts to the table like ben shapiro and crowder. as i have a week off and it rained the last two days ive been binge watching your videos :-D
When Adam was saying special ops guys never use the full auto setting for their rifles, all I could think was, “You went full automatic. You never go full automatic.”
Never considered the Chicago schools thing. ...very true. I remember back in the late 80's when kids first started taking guns to school(not all kids but it first started happening)schools began to put metal detectors in the entrance, I was under the assumption that that practice had continued, I guess it was stopped! W.T.F?! It needs to be implemented again!
Sorry I'm tired of playing by there rules I don't or won't give them an inch because Libtards try to take a mile. Colion and Adam are fighting the good fight. A lot of Hollywierd aren't and they troll TH-cam so facts are truth
Magazines feed rifles and pistols, clips feed magazines. The M1 Garand had a fixed internal magazine and used enbloc clips to feed that magazine. Enbloc meant the clip remained in the magazine until the ammo was exhausted then the clip was ejected making room for the next loaded clip.
Boy do I miss The Man Show can you imagine how cool it would be if colion Noir and Adam Carolla had a show together The Man Show with guns and now girls jumping on trampolines with AR-15s😍😁🤩😀
I thought he was at least approaching the various points honestly. Seemed more to me like he was teeing up the points that Colion would have wanted to hit on his own, anyway. Radio is like that sometimes.
I really think this was a discussion. They actually talked. Good on you Noir, Carolla and the other two whose names i do not know. why cant more people do this. Yea the guy to the far right had his opinions, but he listened.
hell naw. Kimmel doesn't have enough information to debate Colion on the subject of gun ownership. He'd attempt to make a joke that will fall flat and Colion would just press on with facts. He'd essentially lose his own audience especially since they cant really drown out opposing viewpoints with booing like Bill Maher's audience.
on a side note with the school shootings. i grew up in a farm community. nearly every truck had a gun rack in the rear window with guns in it. i had a savage .22/.410 over and under. a .22 rifle and to fill the last spot was a pellet gun(i hoped no one would notice). no one thought twice about it. now when i go to pick my daughter up from the same school i have to go through security. the gun is obviously not the problem. its society and its loss of morals
I legally conceal carry. I’ve gone into my sons high school, walked into the office, signed him out and waited for him. All while I had a loaded fire arm on my person. They have no security to stop anyone entering the school while armed. I worry about this and have prepared my son as well as I can but still, he is at risk anytime he is at school.
PLUS, even if you make it impossible for a certain sector to buy a gun through regular sources, nothing prevents them from buying one from an individual.
Bring No Tolerance back to school and make Teachers accountable for discipline across the board. Stop Bullying for all students. Stop PROMISES Program.
So that dudes arguments are: "Don't stop school shootings because metal detectors are scary looking" and "Don't stop school shootings because then they'll kill people who shop at trader joe's" Serious?
I would like to hear Mr. Noir's opinion on two things; the S&W 686 and the best value AR15 for a newb. I'm leaning toward the Cold LE6920, but I'm still open to other options.
... anyhow... Yeah man, couldn't go wrong with a Colt 6920. BCM, Daniel Defense are also good places to start for a quality AR on a budget. Noveske as well, if you're a hipster with a little extra cash.
Mike noveske, Daniel Defense, and Colt are probably the most expensive and top tier ARs lol I would suggest more along the lines of DPMS, Bushmaster, or M&P. But make sure you get a model with a forward assist. Most upper and lower receivers are made by the same manufacturers and companies like DD, Noveske, DPMS, Colt, etc just stamp their logo on them.
I wish that people would realize that in the Military (speaking formerly as one); Military Members are issued a M-16A2 and sometimes a M-164 (M4) and a side arm as Beretta, Glock, and Sig - depending on branch of service. I have never been issued a full automatic in the military unless it was a squad automatic weapon; like a 249 SAW - 240 Bravo - or mounted .50 cal minus time and spacing with butterfly triggers. My issues "Assault Rifle" had a selector switch; which was Safety - Semi - and Burst (three 5.56 rounds per pull). What hand held military issued weapon has an automatic. Even in special operations issued me a scar and SAMG had a MP5 that had a modified selector switch. WHAT AUTO!?!? These uneducated people - Keep up the good fight Colion!!!!!
Metal detectors are commonplace at airports and while they slow down your travels no one really bats an eye at them, but at schools where we send our children, everyone gets all freaky.
i started carrying probably 2 years ago. ONE time i saw a sign that was legally binding, that said no guns. i ALMOST walked in and said 'fuck that'. i heistated and thought about 'man i gotta be an example'. for the next 20 minutes i was in there, i felt out of control of my surroundings. Got back to my car, strapped back up. the only thing that stopped me was morals
Don't know who the guy on the right is, but I want to address the point he brings up at around 12:00 - he basically says, after we've secured our schools, people who want to commit mass shootings will look to shoot up their neighborhood grocery store, etc. So what happens here? What happens here is now you're in an environment of the general public, not some educational facility where the people on it just need to be the faculty and the students, and occasionally parents. In the general public, you allow conceal carry or open carry, and criminals understanding that these public places are "protected" by the citizens will be deterred from committing a crime there. However, to get to that point, people who want to carry a gun should go through numerous training, including range, safety, handling, storage, etc. Just be a responsible, individual, gun owner
Walmart and other stores have the RFID detectors at the doors; these haven't dissuaded people from shopping. Metal detectors have a similar appearance.
I went to a pretty shitty high school that was basically a prison day care for delinquents in training.. We had random searches where uniformed police and one of the assistant principles would come to our classroom and do a quick search with a portable metal detector as well as look inside your bookbag.. I don't know why we didn't have metal detectors at the entrances, might as well.. I would of felt safer, I know for a FACT those random searches were pointless.
Mr. Noir can you give an example of a gun bill that would solve the bullying, mental health issues an criminal intent issues that the media almost always fail to mention after a mass shooting. Just found your channel an I am thankful that I have since NONE of the anti gun nuts I have asked can't answer an in the few vids of yours I have watched you have proven to be leaps an bounds more intelligent then they are. Just subbed an god bless
In no way am I a fan of these guys, but you handled this interview like a gentleman. You kept your composure when they tried to bate you into certain questions and statements. Kids shooting each other is not funny at all, whether it’s before, during, or after school hours.
There are some things I would like to point out the M-16 ( civilian equivalent AR-15) was not designed to kill, here is the logic, it was meant to mame not kill. If you have a wounded man you use 2 men to drag him to the medics. Now you have 3 guns off the battle field that is the logic (I was told this during basic training). Also the M-16 and AR-15 takes a 22 caliber bullet. A 22 caliber is about the smallest caliber made. Yes the .223 does have a lot more powder but still is a 22 caliber. If guns were never invented a killer will still kill. He could have used fire, biological or bombs. bottom line a killer is still a killer, no matter the weapon. Criminals will never obey laws. love and watch all your videos.
The M16 is the military version of the AR15 not the other way around. At 12 rnds/min of sustained fire, it is a very poor assault rifle. It's a hell of a rifle for pests, and target practice. It's far from the most damaging, or dangerous though. But you are right. You don't hear people trying to outlaw bolt actions chambered in magnum calibers, or big caliber revolvers.
I wish Adam Carolla would do more How to catch a contractor. That show was very good on teaching people what to look for and the knowledge. To get a credible contractor.
All public schools already have cameras. It would be easy to have a secured room with one armed officer that feeds into the camera system. That secures the weapon from being taken away by a child and yet he is there just in case something happens. I'm in favor of arming any teachers, they should not have to bear that responsibility, instead they should be focused on the job fully, unless they make the personal choice to do so, then we can find a way we can make that happen. The amount of guns per person in this country proves that the vast majority of gun owners are not a threat.
Is it really that big of a problem? It's a thing, and some people have 3D printed gun parts, but is it a big enough deal that there needs to be a "debate" about it? The few people who do it are hobbyists who can afford a 3D printer and like tinkering with shit. Not criminal types. And the law says that anyone who isn't legally prohibited from owning a gun can manufacture a gun for their own peronal use.
Mr. Noir, i have been following u for years. I must say that i loved ur old videos about training, swag and that gorgeous tall lady. Your resent videos are too bla blahhh. Where is the pew...pew days.
No need to give into the anti-freedom agenda using their propaganda slurs such as "Assault rifle". Assault is an action enacted by an individual, the term rifle is perfectly fine to describe the inanimate object. Colion should do a talk show with Steven Crowder to help share ideas in order to preserve freedom and prevail against any anti-freedom propaganda from the deceitful mainstream media. Keep up the good work!
Droplix brother thats the problem with the masses. Guys like you and I know the correct nomeclature and jargon. But the sheep out there only know buzzwords. Its sad that we have to use them as well sometimes to get their atttention and make them listen.
It seems that in most cases if mass shooters used full auto there would be fewer fatalities due to the loss of accuracy and ammo. Once again a law that didn't help.
Schools should teach common sense, etiquite, how to be an Adault and defense. This is a people and parent problem more than anything. I was raised around weapons all my life.. I had two loving parents and was taught proper education in how to handle weapons safe and responsibly.
Enforce the laws that we already have before we go making more. That's one of my biggest problems with the gun control debate. The shooter in Florida was a known danger by the local P.D. and the FBI. They did nothing about it. Every mass shooting exposes red flags leading up to the attack that could have prevented it in the first place. More restrictions on law abiding citizens only helps criminals.
I support you Colion but don’t let Carolla slide on his racism he never utters a word about the violence and crime his people have committed in this country
I was surprised at how reasonable of a discussion this was. Thanks for sharing.
Colin I blame you for peer pressuring me into buying my Coonan.357 1911..... I regret nothing
Luke Roby,
I love my Coonan. It's a blast to shoot (pun intended).
Luke Roby Coonan is bad ass. Though I wish glock designed a polymer wonder equivalent. I can dream can’t I...
MBW I’m not sure what you mean about “printing too much” but as far as conceal carry goes, it’s the same as any full sized 1911. The only difference between it and my Rock Island 10mm is that the Coonan has a bit more with to accommodate the .357 magnum.

Mmmm solid handgun
The politicians that promote no gun zone signage ought to have the signs posted in their front yards.
They would, except they live in gated communities with armed security. “Rules for thee but not for me.”

The twerpy guy is by no means “agnostic“ in terms of gun rights.
I thought he was at least approaching the various points honestly. Seemed more to me like he was teeing up the points that Colion would have wanted to hit on his own, anyway. Radio is like that sometimes.
Bald is a big lib.
He can't help it.
He is influenced by his peers in la
In the presence of the truth, falsehood perishes.
I really think this was a discussion. They actually talked. Good on you Noir, Carolla and the other two whose names i do not know. why cant more people do this. Yea the guy to the far right had his opinions, but he listened.
You think Kimmel will have Colion on ?
Col. Cotton Hill if he does I'll have to look out the window and see if pigs are flying.
Fuck Kimmel
Col. Cotton Hill RIP your shins
Never. Well, close to never.
Great interview.
on a side note with the school shootings. i grew up in a farm community. nearly every truck had a gun rack in the rear window with guns in it. i had a savage .22/.410 over and under. a .22 rifle and to fill the last spot was a pellet gun(i hoped no one would notice). no one thought twice about it. now when i go to pick my daughter up from the same school i have to go through security. the gun is obviously not the problem. its society and its loss of morals
@@smokey_vet4219 seems like a smart thing to do. Our most precious citizens are at these institutions
PLUS, even if you make it impossible for a certain sector to buy a gun through regular sources, nothing prevents them from buying one from an individual.
Always got the right words to say....That knowledge though.
Everyday Carry "That knowledge though".... shut up you lame ass.
LOL, I could swear Colion was blushing for a minute there!
How awkward is it when you're sitting there having a conversation and the other person just abruptly starts reading a commercial?
Colion at 25sec: “Is this the most racist shit I’ve ever heard? Nah. Well, maybe...?”
Love Colion talking people into sane positions.
Bring No Tolerance back to school and make Teachers accountable for discipline across the board. Stop Bullying for all students. Stop PROMISES Program.
Murder is illegal.... Why does the instrument mater?
And if it matters then martial arts, pens , hammers, knives. Everything should be banned...
Nobody said armed guard in school which surprised me.
Super interview.
"Never go full auto!" Tropic Thunder
14:10 "Bourne Identity" ... blank stares all around... "Bourne Identity. Don't worry about it."... more blank stares. (Everyone thinking: "She probably means Minority Report")
Did Adam take the stripes from BMW to make his logo?
Now this was a proper discussion about guns :)
So that dudes arguments are:
"Don't stop school shootings because metal detectors are scary looking"
and
"Don't stop school shootings because then they'll kill people who shop at trader joe's"
Serious?
those flip-flops/slippers are driving me nuts ....
is that carolla or gilbert gottfried?
ChiriKain it’s adam gottfried.
Seriously he is lame af.
he's on our side, so don't be too hard on him.
Tall GG who has more sense.
Them V-Moda M100's are nice aren't they. I love my set.
I would like to hear Mr. Noir's opinion on two things; the S&W 686 and the best value AR15 for a newb. I'm leaning toward the Cold LE6920, but I'm still open to other options.
James Allen Fuck that mayate and his phycotic views on gun control 🖕😠😠
yurii l o v e What the fuck are you even trying to say??
I've heard colts quality contol has gone down, BCM always a solid choice, depends on use/budget
well done
Adam Corolla . 👍
Freedom comes with risks.
Problem is we don't have full freedom
Full automatic is for fire superiority. The first bullet shoots where you aim, the rest shoot nowhere close where you were aiming.
The first question to ask is not how to stop the carnage.. the question is, can we?
harden the soft targets and when the next soft target appears harden that and keep going until these cowards stick to video games.
Doing good keep it up man.
I didn't even know he had a show
Every school I went to had/have metal detectors
Lol all I can think about when someone says clip is your video about gun people
In no way am I a fan of these guys, but you handled this interview like a gentleman.
What do you think about this 3D printed gun debate?
Freedom
Is it really that big of a problem? It's a thing, and some people have 3D printed gun parts, but is it a big enough deal that there needs to be a "debate" about it?
The few people who do it are hobbyists who can afford a 3D printer and like tinkering with shit. Not criminal types. And the law says that anyone who isn't legally prohibited from owning a gun can manufacture a gun for their own peronal use.
Build metal detectors into the door frames
Adam. It's called a magazine. Not a "clip".
Did Adam really just call it a clip? Please educate him
This is why i respect Adam Carolla and loathe Jimmy Kimmel
I was looking forward to this podcast, never listened to Adam Carolla's show... that felt like almost a solid two hour commercialfest.
Own 78 and can't honestly tell ya I wont get more heeheehee...
Its sad that we have to use them as well sometimes to get their atttention and make them listen.
yeah, keep trying to get Colion a little more of a clue
I blame the school shootings on the fact that kids are not taught to respect the firearm
Can’t hear him very well.
If I put "Gun Free Zone" signs in politician's yards who promoted gun free zones, we woudn't have gun free zones anymore.
Sheesh guy on the right is fired up.
InspiretoVictory cool story.
I support you Colion but don’t let Carolla slide on his racism he never utters a word about the violence and crime his people have committed in this country
