yeah for the old school guys (what is old school in detailing years? 10 years? haha) I hear that he was one of the most famous detailers in the world (very well known on autopia forums, etc). He seems comfortable in this new role, working for a powerhouse company in a prominent role but not necessarily a "detail famous" guy for the new generation
I’m really really deep into the rabbit hole of car detailing. I watched all the Pan videos, Apex videos, and all the DIY videos. I’m in the backrooms right now. 😂
Todd is such a great guy and I would really like to meet him in the future. The question I have though is will the protectant in uno advanced suffer water spotting? Alot do. Hydrophillic where the water sheets off in one piece is better at water spot protection but at least we can use uno again and remove the water marks. I've had the idea of long term (12 months minimum) filler polishes and coatings for many years as paints got thinner from my experience over several years ago.from 110-130 down to 50-80
Actually this cuts a lot more than uno protect. I warn that its best to use pads and towels that are dedicated for this. Residue is really pita to remove from the pads and towels.
For sure. In principle it sounds like other products I’ve heard about before, but my gut says rupes made a killer product. They tend to wait on something until it’s ready from what I’ve noticed
Hi, a detailer used this product on my car. Few weeks later, developed some scratches on my bonnet after I used a waterless wash. Should I use this on just the section of the bonnet or polish back the whole bonnet? Also, this product is said to last 12mths. Is there any impact if I were to use again before the 12mths is up?
Have you polished before? Curious what method you would use to polish but in broader terms…just polish the section you want to improve, if it looks weird because it’s shiner than everywhere else you can polish whole bonnet. Polish to improve not remove…you only have a finite amount of clear coat
If I want to polish a old ceramic coating do I need to clay the car first or as long as it’s washed can I just apply this polish by machine ? Can I use 1 microfiber finishing pad for the car spread it in somewhat quickly ? Just like the uno protect
a good wash and clay would be ideal. try using something that is minimally invasive like this: bit.ly/FineGradeClayTowel. and then go ahead and do a light polish with rupes uno advanced
Todd has always been a good presenter. I remember many of his posts on the Autopia forum when he used to work their. Rupes always makes good products.

I want to compare this to Griots Ceramic AIO. Sounds like a very capable product.
I’m a fan, this stuff is a game changer!

Agreed! Sheeting makes more sense to me but there is something about beading that people just love….
awesome video Nick!
thanks man! product looks legit...
Sounds perfect. Just bought some to try out
Let me know how it holds up/what you think

Hi Todd,
Does Rupes UNO Advanced contain UV protection?
Thank you
Reminds of the Dr Beasleys product that’s a AIO with a ceramic coating

If you put a curly red wig on Todd he would look exactly like Carrot Top. Great presenter 👏🏻
lol

@@HawkProDetailing No, i have not polish before. But thanks for your advice!
Really enjoy angelwax enigma..wonder how this compares. Gonna try it out
Never tried enigma but have heard good things!
The coating topper is seriously impressive but it makes me wonder does it diminish the coating at all?
Good question
Its got abrasives so probably
I wouldnt do it. It cuts quite a lot.
Can I Polish my car with UNO ADVANCE then apply ceramic coating ? Like primer from gyeon ..
I don't think so...
Is Uno Advance Can be use on a boat ? Thanks
Orange pad friendly?
Nice
Rupes best products
Can this uno advanced be used before laying down a coating?
I don’t think so but @rupes (do tags work yet on TH-cam? Lol) would know
I'd like to know too. Waiting for an update 😬
I would like to know as well if this is possible, like when using the Xtreme Solutions LVR 403
This is what @rupes_spa said "We would not suggest doing that since UNO Advanced already leaves a protection on the surface."
First
New stuff from Rupes
Yessir!
So its like carpeo essence+ ?
I suppose so, but new technology….I imagine it’s quite good although I haven’t tried it :)
It is camically resistance coating
If I want to polish a old ceramic coating do I need to clay the car first or as long as it’s washed can I just apply this polish by machine ?
Can I use 1 microfiber finishing pad for the car spread it in somewhat quickly ? Just like the uno protect
Seems similar to Essence +
But it’s newer so maybe better tech? Who knows…
If the car is ceramic coated already and it’s a year or two later can I just apply this with machine or does it have to be clayed first?
