Just buffed a 2013 Honda pilot using Uno protect with a griots Garage G9 and a microfiber polishing pad.Wipe down with bead maker is so fun!The customer swore it was repainted! This works kids..😎👍
I’ve been doing this one-step paint correction since I’ve watched your first video with Levi regarding this. It’s superb result and easy to apply for a beginner like me. 👍🏼
Anthony as always, I very much enjoy your videos. Excellent work. It never ceases to amaze me on how great the Uno Protect and Bead Maker looks, it looks so much nicer than any coating.
Wow the outcome was incredible. I'm getting ready to polish my new Tesla as well and wondering about the decision to use the wool pad as opposed to a foam pad(polish or cutting)? My paint doesn't have any water spots but mainly looks a little cloudy in areas(white paint). Thanks for any help and keep up the amazing work!
This is a very cool one-step polishing method! Thanks for posting and sharing such an awesome technique! The gloss is INSANE!!! Question...would this process also work with other polishes?
Given those water spots on the paint I would have hit the roof glass with a used pad. Otherwise a great combination and appreciate the owner loaning it for the paint enhancement
I really need to try uno protect now, I love bead maker but this combo is phenomenal. I know the customer paid for gloss and slickness but did you use MDR to remove the minerals before polishing? With those etched in you did phenomenally with just the one step! I always say worst part of polishing is putting on the pad 🤣. The rest is therapeutic
I cannot wait to protect the daily before the snow hits here in the upper rockies! Until then I am blazing through the Griot's spray on wax until its gone and back to Bead Maker next year.
@@theragcompany hey brother ! I usually have to follow with a foam when I use rupes wool, does using a polish like uno protect counter that since it’s not real aggressive?
Another amazing tutorial rag company! Quick question, wouldn't it be better to apply bead maker after the polish and wipe with a microfiber towel? Wouldn't the polisher take the bead chemical away if applied prior to polishing?
Help me out here. I don't understand how this process works. Your spraying Bedmaker, on top of another product that has dried and created a film on the panel and it is going to go through Uno Protec bond to the panel, and create a higher shine and sickness. It seems it would work better if you remove the Uno Protec, then add Bedmaker ??? Please explain
Why would it go through? Your confusion stems from your false assumption. It’s not adding a film it’s adding a coating like wax or sealant. Bead maker goes on top of a lot of coatings to add extra gloss and hydrophobic properties.
You need to watch a beginner ceramic video if you’re asking that. Of course you can’t apply a ceramic coating on top of any other coating. Ceramic comes first after paint correction and a deep panel cleaner like alcohol or a specific prep like carpro eraser. You put the hardest coating on first then after it’s dry apply a top coat like bead maker
I do think a water spot remover would have been worth while. I've had good results with carpro spotless. A few years back I was on vacation and the place I was at had sprinkers that nailed my black car on day 1. Baked in the summer sun all week and wouldn't wash away once home. I ordered spotless based on some reviews and by the time product arrived the spots had been on the car for 2 weeks, cooking in the summer sun the whole time. Spotless removed every spot and it was near instantaneous. I don't remember what I was running for protection at the time but I think it was just chem guys butter wet wax.
Also I love butter wax but it doesn’t last too long. I found adams graphene paste wax and it gave more shine better uv protection and lasted for over half a year so far and it’s still going strong with hand washes only.
Most products come out gloss & slick ( I just use beadmaker) but how long does this combo last? After the 1st wash beadmaker slick is gone which doesn't matter to me because after every wash I'll go over car with beadmaker. My point is why do I need anything else if I cannot benefit from longevity?
I think Beadmaker can beplaced with a more durable sealant or spray wax. Griots 3 in 1 Ceramic, TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic, Adams Graphene Spray, Meguiars Ceramic....I understand Beadmaker is your favorite and you don't sell the others but 1 month of protection isn't enough for my vehicle or my customers.
Totally understand Jon but if you use Beadmaker every time you wash your protection is technically infinite. Also after years of using Beadmaker, I’ll tell you it lasts longer than a month. It’s all in how it’s washed and what type of weather you deal with. Here in Idaho, beadmaker does really well!
Don't apply or let it cure in direct sunlight. While it is possible you would want to let the product sit on the car in a place where it is less prone to the elements. The purpose of this is so the product doesn't dry out prematurely and to avoid exposure to decontamination.
No, it cannot be used with any one step polish, If it is a All-in-one, then yes. Remember there is a very big difference between those two terminologies.
11:30 Some companies make a little inch or so long plastic cylinder shaped device to stick into the backing plate which guides the pad to backing plate and centers it perfectly. Maybe the rag company could find someone to make one for you and sell them on the site. If the Rag Company does get one and sells them, can I have a penny for each you the Rag Company sells for the idea? LOL I will even take it in store credit.
So I’ve tried this but with the blue wool pads I feel like I have even more fine scratches then I did before…any advice. I may not have worked it in all the way or maybe I used too much product. Idk😅🤷🏻♂️
I’m referring to if you did it properly with 3 steps, rubbing compound, correct to polish, and then a polish on top of it. Then your 3rd step with uno protect, then ceramic coat
Is the Uno protect supposed to be pink in color? I'm watching all these videos and the polishing cream looks White but my Uno protect the polishing cream is bright pink
Unless they recently changed the formula, that might be something to be concerned about. My uno protect is tinted lightly orange/pink. Have you used it, does it seem to work?
Rupes Uno Protect is a polymer sealant that best adheres to bare paint. That's the reason for the 20 minute sit time + 4hours without getting it wet so the polymers can crosslink with the paint. If you apply over a ceramic coating the bond won't be as strong basically rendering it a waste of product. To get the most out of the product, including that amazing shine, I would recommend either removing the ceramic coating or just waiting until it's time for a new protective coating.
You said "delicious" and I was ready for a meal, however I licked the ENTIRE HOOD and at NO point did it start tasting good! 0/10, very disappointed with Anthony!!
You should have picked a harder car to work on tesla paints are easy to buff there clear coat is super soft I worked for tesla as a detailer for few years not impressed
Technically yes, but you MUST use a panel prep product before the application. Ideally, you would want to one-step with a product that contains no protection.

Holy smokes. Paint on daily driver could really use this you make it look so easy!
And a nice graphic finish on this video, kudos to the editing crew

I really enjoyed the length and knowledge of this video.

Anthony is always good vibe 👍🏾
Given those water spots on the paint I would have hit the roof glass with a used pad. Otherwise a great combination and appreciate the owner loaning it for the paint enhancement
This tutorial was awesome, you always explain step by step.
I noticed you didn’t tape headlights or plastics, is there no worry of staining with uno protect like other compounds?
Will this process work using defender instead of beadmaker?
Love the energy!

I love the lighting
I wonder if Levi and Morgan get royalties everytime this is shown on youtube?
So after all this beautiful work, can you also apply ceramic coating?? 🤔🥳
Nooo0oOoooooö
Can obsessed garage drying aid be substituted for bead maker with the same results?
I cannot wait to protect the daily before the snow hits here in the upper rockies! Until then I am blazing through the Griot's spray on wax until its gone and back to Bead Maker next year.
Fantastic tutorial. I do have to ask, who in the world applied that beadmaker label on the IK and after how many adult beverages 🤣🤣

Why did you taped anything ? Does the uno protect doesnt stain anything ?
Can I still add a ceramic coating after uno protect? What about bead maker? Combo? Or should I use rupes 2 step or different 1 step before coating?

It doesn’t take long for water spots to etch into the paint where remover or vinegar water mix doesn’t work and it needs to be polished out.
Also I love butter wax but it doesn’t last too long. I found adams graphene paste wax and it gave more shine better uv protection and lasted for over half a year so far and it’s still going strong with hand washes only.
And the Rupes Protection doesn’t stain the plastics?
4:34 - everytime I need to apply paste in this way? Or only first time to impregnate polish pad?
Just wanted to ask, how much for a job like that. New subscriber here. Great content!
I think 3d all in one the same as uno protect. Sickness easy to come off and protection.
I’ve used that a couple times for good results. This might be a bit better though I’m excited to try it.
I do this, but instead of BeadMaker, I use GTechniq'sLliquid Crystal C2 V3. It also works with Jescar's Power Lock+ and Ultra Lock+.
I just ordered the C2V3.. so do you use it to wipe off the polish like was shown here, or apply after as a topper?
@@mozart369 you can do either/or.
Will you guys every make a Polishing kit that includes all the basics like you just showed?
Do you blow out the pad after each section? Also what is the best way to clean the yellow wool pads after use? Cheers
Did I miss something or was there no before and after shots?
Can't deny results
How long of protection are you looking at with this combo?
Where can i get that merch? That blue shirt is what I need to buy.
Can i substitute bead maker for dream maker (i already have the dream maker)? Thanks
WHATS THE difference between uno protect and uno advanced?
I'm going to have to try this.
Most products come out gloss & slick ( I just use beadmaker) but how long does this combo last? After the 1st wash beadmaker slick is gone which doesn't matter to me because after every wash I'll go over car with beadmaker. My point is why do I need anything else if I cannot benefit from longevity?
That was great..do you always use a wool?...I see most people using foam
.what's the difference ?thank you
Wool is going to give you more cutting ability…the foam pads are less aggressive and geared more towards polishing and sealing….
Can this be done outside in sunlight? Im a mobile detailer
Okay, I also own a black Model Y. Time to buy this shit, cuz my car has never looked this good
I think Beadmaker can beplaced with a more durable sealant or spray wax.

How much would you charge for this service?!
At the risk of sounding like a noob (because I am) how come none of the areas were taped off?
Yolo
Can this process be done with any one step polish… like Koch Chemie?
would you suggest the same time of curing in the sun?
Don't apply or let it cure in direct sunlight. While it is possible you would want to let the product sit on the car in a place where it is less prone to the elements. The purpose of this is so the product doesn't dry out prematurely and to avoid exposure to decontamination.
Can this technique with bead maker be used with any one step polish or is it more designated for the uno protect product?
Any one step for sure
No, it cannot be used with any one step polish, If it is a All-in-one, then yes. Remember there is a very big difference between those two terminologies.
Can you do a video on UNO advanced?

I’m kind of new to all this. What’s the big differences between Uno Protect and the DA Fine Polish Compound?
You’re very very new lol, one is a polish/coating, the other is a polish. They do explain in more detail in the video, I highly recommend watching it.
So I’ve tried this but with the blue wool pads
I feel like I have even more fine scratches then I did before…any advice.
I may not have worked it in all the way or maybe I used too much product. Idk😅🤷🏻♂️
It happens with something as aggressive as the coarse wool.
Just finish out with a yellow or white pad.
Good luck dude
Can you do a ceramic coating on top of that?
I’m referring to if you did it properly with 3 steps, rubbing compound, correct to polish, and then a polish on top of it. Then your 3rd step with uno protect, then ceramic coat
Could this accomplished with technicians choice ceramic spray detail?
What?! No you can’t polish a vehicle with a spray coating.

My uno protect is pink also just got it yesterday. And the bottle I purchased like 4 months ago was pink too
Rupes protect is amazing but bead maker is a no no for me is like a dust magnet !
Can I use my Uno Protect on my Ppf on the front of my model 3?
Yes; Levi explained in a rupes uno video with Jason rose about using it on his wrapped suburban
But beadd maker only ast wers why not pt a carmaic coat
What towels were used?
the FTW
can you use if ceramic coated already?

This is awful. My 50 step process with 12 buckets and 6 polishers does a much better job
Whelp, have fun with that. 👋
Can you ceramic coat after a one step? Even if it has a sealant?
Technically yes, but you MUST use a panel prep product before the application. Ideally, you would want to one-step with a product that contains no protection.
