I am glad you described the brand without the use the words “quiet luxury”. I like your jacket.
hehe thanks 💕
Love The Row bags. All of them.
I love your Pingu top ❤ that was my son’s favorite cartoon when he was little
I love The Row. I own bags from Bottega, Hermes, Chanel, Loewe, etc. and The Row bags are great to have for more under the radar looks. 🤍
I love your pliplat clutch - it’s my favorite of all your bags. Please keep it forever!
ooo thanks heaps!! xo
Love your style and personality! I have The Row bourse bag. Been wearing for 3 years now. I would chooseThe Row over any other brand. The quality is another level. Same with their shoes.
Don't know much about vintage Hermès since it's a brand I was never interested in, but been doing some research on vintage Coach and those bags from The Roh give me totally Coach pre mid 90s vibe even the names 😳 as I said no idea about Hermes but maybe in those times everyone had the same style of bag and this new brands are "getting inspiration" from old brands 🤷🏼♀️ Definitely 60s, 70s and 80s classic handbags vibes, independent of the brand that was producing them at the time 😬
wow!! yes i dont know much about vintage coach!! how interesting! 💕
Hi Jess. I have a DGAZ silk insert for my very slouchy Bolide 35 and it works really well and doesn’t damage the bag x
thanks lots!!
No problem :) Love your content ❤️
My jaw dropped when I saw the price of the Margaux bag. For that price, just stick to the Bolide which has better quality, history and resale value to it.
And don't get manipulated into thinking their bags are high in demand by them putting waitlist/sold out on them.
hmmm true! 💕
I’ve always preferred discreet bags, Celine was my go to until Phoebe left. I then switched to The Row. I have an everyday bag, a half moon and a Margeaux and have sold off much of my Céline bags, except my classic. I love The Row, quality is great and they’re much nicer in real life.
Like the discussion- you have a great fashion eye 😜
i have a few things from The Row. the clothes are good and well made, but the bags are not IMO. the edge-paint cracks already after 6 months, and the leather shows wear (and i’ve got tons of bags so i don’t wear them a lot or daily). but if you like that hobo-don’t-care-vintage look then The Row bags are what you’re looking for. these bags don’t age well and look beat-up fast, which is a look and look the Olsens are going for anyways.
The row bags are really nice leather. I have a few of the bags and they age beautifully.
good to know~ 💕💕
I wanted the row park tote in medium so i bought the jcrew Berkley bucket tote as a dupe😊
haha yes!! probably serves a similar purpose 💕💕💕
I like the look, i just don't pay those prices
totally!! same! 💕
Great, now they'll crank up the prices even more I guess I won't be buying anything from The Row
Exactly! I kept going back to look at a bag last year but just couldn’t pull the trigger at that price. My SA says their quality is kind of inconsistent (like most brands now I guess!). 🤷♀️
Love these bags but the prices 🥲😅
Hi Jess.. I never heard of the Row. I will look into their bags. Update: The lady I met at Hermes called me tonight and we are meeting tomorrow at Hermes. She is interested in the bag. She asked me how much I wanted to sell it for, so I replied by saying, lets discuss tomorrow. In the interim, I went to a consignment shop and got an estimate on my bag today. They told me they would sell my bag for $25,000-$35,000. I asked them what was so special about the bag. She LOL and told me it is Circa 2022, Light Brown, Toga leather in size 25 with gold hardware. I know nothing about Hermes..LOL. Tomorrow, I'm going to ask the lady for $30,000. But I did tell her I paid $15,000 for it. I'll just tell her that was a down payment. Wish me luck. I hope she buys my bag. It turns out my bag is brand new, according to the consignment store. No visible wear and tear.
that is an insane find! Gosh! hope it all goes well!!! 💕💕
Love the Margaux bag but for me unaffordable
Your clutch is gorgeous. I've never seen that style before. I would love if you did a review 🙏🏽🙏🏽
sure! 💕💕
I've heard that 7RP does good organizers
Hi Jess! Do you any nice high shoulder bags to recommend from Hermes? Besides Lindy and Constance.. Thanks!
I'm not Jess but I have some that I like, there's the popular Kelly, the not so popular Verrou Chaine mini, the Roulis, Jypsiere and the Herbag
i like the mosaique bag because it is easier to open than a constance! There is a new Kelly Elan which would be a perfect little shoulder bag. For s slouchy shoulder bag The trim 31 maybe nice!
I don’t really care for the brand. It’s a complete 180 from my style. It also seems very expensive for what it is after I saw it in store. For a young brand, it gives off a very granny vibe.
I saw these bags on Etsy before I knew they were from the row 😂
I love your pingu top
thanks!
Love your jacket Jessie I think row is all copies o other bands
OMG jessie, you doing a Row video with a pingu shirt is absolutely legendary. hahhahah
i need this shirt. where did you get it
HAHAHAH thanks 😂 I got it from a tshirt store a few years ago!!! this is the website! viaartists.com/
The Margueax Bag by the Row is being called the new Birkin
I’m gonna need that Pingu shirt not even kidding.
Jess can you tell me how many cms across the bottom your red mini bolide is?? Thanks 😊
7.75 x 6 x 3.25 in
Never heard of this company. I like a couple that you showed. 😏
The positive aspect about the Row is that it is a safe variant for people of no taste. Whatever you buy goes well
That moon bag looks like Aesther Ekme's demi lune tote
Russell and Bromley are reknowned for dupes. Including like these.
Just googled about the veins on leather, and here is what came up: "Just as you see the veins in your own skin, vein lines can appear on finished leather. This occurs when bacteria are attracted to any remaining nutrient-rich blood in the original pathways of the blood vessels of the animal before leather manufacturing begins." It's so sad to be wearing former veins and blood-pathways of a slaughtered animal that did not stand a chance on the kill floor:(
Thanks for mentioning me Jessie! I have yet to purchase a bag from The Row, but I have their RTW and shoes (shoes are alright, but I don't wear them much). Great to see you cover the brand and agree about the uniqlo style!
Thanks so much Mary!! I love your channel!! 😻
i like their bags but i have similar leather bags that cost less than a thousand canadian dollars. the row just doesn't look designer.
Hey girl fellow young milenial here lol 2006 was almost 20 years ago 😂 I'm surprised the brand has remained so unhyped but its a vibe
i know right!! i think its more on the radar now because big logos are less "in fashion" atm
@@Jessiestyle totally. I do like their stuff from the first 10 years. I bet the quality is the same or if not, better but the styles seem a little inspired so let's see if they do more now that other demos are learning about the brand. Great videoo
I love the margaux bag but I can't see spending 5k for MaryKate and Ashley stuff
You’re “quirky” ❤
I’m sure it is lovely quality and very much my style However, I would rather buy some thing from the pre-love market.
Organizer Samorga per ogni tipo di borsa firmata!
Good topic! I like the looks of The Row bags for quite some time.
May I suggest another designer to discuss next - Lemaire, he was an ex director at Hermes. My eyeballs have been attracted his bags, the silhouette of his clothings and his muse.
@dimdull he also designs for Uniqlo !!
great idea!!! Yes i was flicking through vogue runway and saw some if him collections for hermes!! very fresh and minimal!
That's what I was thinking about the Margot... Bolide Vibes
No Row bags for me.
I've never seen anything inspiring about The Row, just boring items at extreme prices. The emperor has new clothes.
Yeah because Hermes items are soooo exciting 😂😂
@@mayamcqueen1144I think the colors that hermes offers are pretty exciting.
It´s ridiculous. It´s mocking designer clothes and it´s mocking luxury. They only care about earning money. And all The Row bags that we see celebrities wearing it´s all free propaganda that they receive. Nobody gives that kind of money for that pure trash!
For me, The Row simbolizes the end of luxury. I see prices of luxury products, but I don´t see luxury and original designs. I see super cheap production, no care or love for details and no history behind the brand to justify the prices... I feel nothing for this brand when I see lots of excellent brands with the same but better aesthetic. The materials are excellent, but I don´t like the finishes, especially in their bag selection. The row is like a recession esthetic and is super simple. I don´t see anything special. Hermes on the other and, is minimalist but have that craftsmanship and luxury aspect that we all love. I don´t like The Row. I think is overly expensive for what it is and we have many places with the same quality, simplicity and materials that cost much less then this and it´s the same thing. And we all know that luxury houses like Bottega Veneta, Hermes, some models of Gucci with the horsebid, Salvatore Ferragamo or Celine, create minimal and quiet luxury bags with the luxury thing that we all crave! This is what celebrity brands do. They think that they can make easy money because of the status name that they carry and suddenly they are creatives of fashion houses, make up artists with make up lines. In the past the trend with celebrities was launching lines of perfumes, now is designer clothes?! This is pathetic! Sorry but The Row lacks luxury and it´s super cheap looking! I´m sorry for my indignation but I feel this way and have to say this.
I disagree, I own a few bags and shoes from the Row and the quality is exceptional
The Olsen twins hardly promotes their own brand using their own image, you may want to edit your comment because it hardly reflects the true nature of their brand. And to be honest, Hermes bags and their other items are very much (edit: expensive) for what it is, the cost of their materials and the retail price doesn't add up.
@@dan_ta_lion why would I edit my own comment🤣. I’ll just repeat what I said, I own bags and shoes from the brand and the quality is great. Anything else you’d like to tell me about my own opinions?
@@dilevinvaldez1608 wtf i didn't even tagged you, my reply isn't for you, people lack reading these days smh
@@dan_ta_lion ok, my notification said you replied to my comment. If not then my bad, your comment doesn’t specify who you’re replying to so 🤷🏻♀️
The styles are over over sized clothes, no shape. As to all “seem” to be sold out, likely just marketing trap. I honestly can only see these drowning, shapeless clothes and bags can make a model look bad. 😂
true!! could be false scarcity!
Never really been a big fan of the Row
To me, the Row is the biggest waste of money, zero creativity and this amount of money does not at all justify this sort of money. ... IMO.
edit; i think the bags are more worth it, but the RTW is crazy!!
totally know what you mean 😂
what a boring brand! It could be a brand for Soviet Union period.
