I literally just joked with a friend that you’ll know when I’ve reached peak collecting when I’m mainly buying vintage exotics 😅 (I feel terrible that it’s so controversial, but similarly to why I assume MK and Ashley love their exotics so much is because they’re not only SOOOO durable, but also unique and just feel so special).
The Arlo bag just truly had my heart 😍 it also nods to the “double circle” theme they repeat in several styles so I just LOVE that consistency ❤️
And I’d be soooooo curious to hear what you think of the Terrasse if you’ve gotten a chance to try it out in store 👀

OMG you’re so right about their command of color! Getting the Park Tote in Elephant completely triggered my handbag addiction this year. Been searching for accessories and shoes to match that bag and I can only find other stuff from The Row.
Like how silly of me I know but… even just the idea a color named Elephant 😏😍🤌🏼 (I know it’s perhaps an unhealthy obsession) that color is STUNNING!!!!!!
That may be the one issue with buying from The Row is that all of the sudden… the cohesion between their collections and thought of pairing them together seems to wipe out other brands 😅😍🫶🏼
As a big bag lover, The Row is just my kinda brand. Also, I’ve thinking about this recently and The Row is very much a less edgy, goth version of Ann Demeulemeester, whom I also love.

I want the Margaux 17", dark brown, smooth leather soooo bad, but I just feel SO damn guilty & selfish making a $6,000 purchase for a damn bag. My kids are already bitching me out for spending too much on bags, and for buying so many bags, so I think they'd disown me if I DID make the $6,000 purchase. No matter how I figure it, I can't justify it, even "girl math" doesn't work.
Oh my goodness I completely understand!!! I’m always split between…I can’t believe I’m spending this much on a bag, and “treat yourself” lol 😅😂
To this day I still haven’t spend $6,000 on a bag, but my only justification is that I feel as though brands like The Row and Hermès are worth it because of the impeccable quality. They’re the only brands I’d ever consider spending that much on… however that’s why I heavily rely on the pre-loved market 🙏🏼
Most of my pre-loved/vintage bags probably retailed for anywhere between $3,000-$5,000 and I’ve rarely ever paid over $1,600 (usually right around 1k) 😍❤️
@@lelasophia EXACTLY ! I rarely purchase retail on bags anymore. Thank God for Pre-Loved market, and so many preloved are brand new, or they look completely new, excellent condition. And I, too, have bought so many bags that retailed for $3,000-$5,000 for anywhere between $300-$1,800. And buying preloved is also much better for the environment.
