I love my Margaux 15 in black grained leather. It's soft, light, and inconspicuous. I use it every time I go out of the house. Since it's in grained leather, I don't worry about scratches. I got tired of playing the Hermes game, so I bought the Margaux. It's satisfied my craving for the Birkin.
Two beautiful bags 😊 I have my Margaux for about a year - 15, black grained leather ! I use her for work and traveling and she looks like new! It’s the perfect addition to a minimalist wardrobe!
Both are beautiful bags. Have The Row Margaux 15 and 10 in black grained leather. Love them. Also have a Birkin and a Kelly love them. But I use The Row bags more.
That colour is amazing. Yesterday I ‘choose’that and put on the top of my wish list. And the 15 in black, same leather, I love it. Enjoy the new bag!!!! ❤
If they were both in front of me and I had no knowledge at all about bags I would pick The Row bag I just like the look and style of it but it's honestly far to expensive in my view 💕 Great review thanks x
Hi there, I love the Row Margaux bag so much but still can’t justify the price tag. I have my heart set on a 15 inch. Time to save up…and hopefully one day I take the plunge. It’s a all time classic. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
I love Margaux bag and I am happy to see you have bought it, definitely cooler than the Celine you sent back. I have my eyes on a bigger version and possibly darker brown or maybe black. Meanwhile in terms of those who compare this bag to Hermes, I personally think they are absolutely two different bags and communicate different things. I love my Birkin 35 and part this love is about my story of owning one myself and then being a part of the savior fair of the maison and its amazing history which the Row does not have even though they cater to extremely high quality codes. Thank you for your lovely video and looking forward to your next one ❤
I bought the Margaux 10 in the grained matte leather and loved it so much that I just bought the 15. I haven't received it yet, but can't wait to see it. Even tho I wanted a sloochy comfy bag and loved the smooth leather, I opted for the grained leather after watching reviews. What's the name of the color that you featured here if I may ask?
Thank you so much for sharing! The one I am showing here is in cognac and smooth leather, which is very sensitive. So, I can see why you went for grained leather.💕

Thanks for the insights dear. I am still curious whether should get a dark or light color (like beige or Taupe? I know there is dark taupe that look almost like dark brown color. I dont like dark taupe, I kind of like the Birkin bag you have on the video. Size 12 is the perfect size though for multi purpose use daily or even on weekend. Kindly help on the color choice dear. Thanks
Jean Paul Gaultier brought out the Shoulder Birkin when he was head designer at Hermes, and it comfortably goes up on the shoulder, even with a coat. The handle drop is much longer. It’s coming back now, but it looks wrong to me. The proportions look strange.
Thanks for answering my questions. I like this bag but like all the Row bags the base is so big it sticks out and doesn’t look nice or can easily bump other people or things. I also don’t like the smooth leather. I’ve seen this leather on display in stores and they look awful as new bags. Tx for the review ! Do you plan to get the larger sizes ?
Clara, I have the 10 in grained leather and just bought the 15 in grained leather (I haven't received it yet, I'm away at the moment) but I'm happy to answer any questions u might have 🤗
I see people coming out of the business class lounge at JFK with the Margaux and it didn’t look bulky at all. The proportions are perfect and the wide base means you can place objects without ever disturbing the line of the bag.
Diese Tasche von The Row ist wunderschön jedoch wirklich ein "Investment". Auf die Geschichte hinter deiner Birkin freue ich mich. Sie ist sicherlich spannend 😊
Soft refers to the lining. All Margaux bags with cotton lining are called soft. These bags come in different leather types but most common are polished saddle, grained leather, and suede. 💕
Non of this is relevant for me because I`m not rich, and I`m one of those people who worry about the cost of living crisis (i.e most people) Still watching though….😅 Love your style!
I prefer the look of the Margaux because I don't like much hardware or logos on my accessories and prefer very clean lines and plain leather but the Margaux has gotten too popular and recognizable which is a turnoff for me, not to mention the price. The color and design are very pretty though.
I think it’s a disservice to The Row to call it the new birken The Row is something completely different. It’s understated elegance. I have been a fan of Hermez bags for quite some time and I sorry that the auto correct puts a Z on them, but let’s face it. It’s so overdone everybody has them. There’s nothing special anymore if anything nobody wants to screamhave money anymore. It’s actually not fashion to do that.
Aww, thank you so much for noticing them. Very old from Stuart Weitzman ( I love them and take really good care of them. After almost 10 years they still look like new 😍).
I must say: I love your style, it is nearly the embodiment of mine, and there is so much overlap in our wardrobes. But I think that the Margaux bag is a passing overhype, I don't like the look of it, nothing about it is charming, and I think it'll be over fairly soon.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I do love this bag for its simplicity and how beautiful the leather is but yes, not sure about the hype. Maybe because it is extremely photogenic.💕
Well I'm french and fashion designer and I HATE the Hermes game!! For me it's close toba sociopathic experimentation more than a sale taktic.... But you can't compare the birkin quality, with the margaux and the margaux price is not justify at all. First of all, Lamb leather is way cheaper than calf. Lamb is more suitable for clothes, and cloves or lining in very high end bags. The manufacturing where tje margaux is produce in Italy, well the area where the factory is located is well know for using subsaharian migrant to work. If it was to help them to find thier place in the italian society, it will be great!! But no, these poor people are taking in hostage by the local mafia, they are force to work for very little or eben no wage, all thier papers are held by this mafia, so they can't leave. And if they try to protest, some are killed. So know that made in Italy, is not always tjat different of made in Cjina, regarding working condition. So this Margaux bag, cheap leather, cheap labor, very very few hardware ( who is a huge cost in a bag) , so how people can compare this bag with the highest calf leather bag in the world? With bags who are made in France, one of the most expensive labor country in the world? With tones of hardware?? So I will reply to you. No tje Margaux is not the new Birkin.... or maybe only for Americans , because.... you know... they are not the most sophisticated... The Margaux quality is not even at the level of POLENE. It's more clause of JACQUEMUS quality, with a more classy design.

Beautiful choice! Thank you so much for sharing! 💕
I would chose the Margaux too, the Birkin and Kelly seem to me to be influencer bags and have lost their appeal. The Margaux is on my wish list.
The Row bag is beautiful and if they were both in front of me I would pick the Row, it’s classy and refined.
Agree!
Both are beautiful bags. Have The Row Margaux 15 and 10 in black grained leather. Love them. Also have a Birkin and a Kelly love them. But I use The Row bags more.
Both are beautiful in its own characteristics, but to me, there will never be another Birkin 😊❤
That colour is amazing. Yesterday I ‘choose’that and put on the top of my wish list. And the 15 in black, same leather, I love it.
Enjoy the new bag!!!! ❤
Thank you for doing the comparison. Please post the original Birkin video, if you haven't already, I'm sure it's great!
If they were both in front of me and I had no knowledge at all about bags I would pick The Row bag I just like the look and style of it but it's honestly far to expensive in my view 💕 Great review thanks x
The price is also for me a deal breaker! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and watching! 💕

I absolutely understand, the price tag is hefty. Thank you so much for watching💕
I just bought my Margaux in dark brown suede, waiting for it to arrive!
Oh wow! Exciting! I hope you will love it. 💕

“I hope my parents are not watching.”
LOL!!
😅🤣
@@ThanksToFashion I feel the same way about my bags and my parents!

Thanks for this!! Yeah I will definitely invest on Birkin :)
Thank you so much for an amazing review!!! You look breathtakingly beautiful with both the Birkin and the Margaux😍
Aww, thank you so much! These bags and specifically the Margaux are very photogenic. 💕

Such a beautiful bag!
Hello! Do you own any mansur gavriel tote bags? Would love your take on their bags!
I am wondering whether snow/rain gets in the bag since it doesn`t have a zip closure
Also, I am not sure but I think this kind of leather should not get wet. . 💕
Fantastic review and comparison! Thank you!
I love the color
I ❤ Margaux is perfect thank you Mahshid !
Thank you so much for watching! 💕
What is disappointing about the Margaux bag is that it doesn't have a zipper or flap closure to keep your belongings secure.
Thanks for answering my questions. I like this bag but like all the Row bags the base is so big it sticks out and doesn’t look nice or can easily bump other people or things. Vielen lieben Dank! Ja, wirklich heftiger Preis! 💕
Margaux is the perfect minimalist bag
Is that the "soft" margaux? And can you please explain the difference between the smooth leathers? (Soft vs other type)
Soft refers to the lining. All Margaux bags with cotton lining are called soft. These bags come in different leather types but most common are polished saddle, grained leather, and suede. 💕

It means so much to me that you still watched this video! Thank you so much! 💕

It looks wonderful and good
Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Wait when did you get this birkin?
haha 😅. I did reveal it on Instagram. Story video will come soon! 🫶🏻

The shoes with the bow...

I don’t get the hype about the row bag , it’s just a normal bag. Not that’s nice let be honest
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I do love this bag for its simplicity and how beautiful the leather is but yes, not sure about the hype. Maybe because it is extremely photogenic.💕
It is classic elegance personified.
Your parents are watching this video😂
Good video. Overpriced. Snoozefest.

Interesting. Thank you for sharing. Hermes’s hardware is palladium of gold coated and adds a substantial high - end touch to their bags.
