Looked like my finished basement a few years ago courtesy of the local town corporation. Toilet and drains just a gushing in reverse. Lost everything, carpet, furniture, many books, every photograph of my late wife and holidays. Anything in that Aussie flood is history unless it's above the water or made of metal, plastic. The plumbing industry will have to get together with the Makers of wet wipes. Older folks as well as seniors will not give them up. At 76 yrs. old I am one of them. We can see the damage they do as well as the problems they cause but for one I will never give them up. I do hope a solution can be made...
I watched the movie, Don't Breath 2. There is a scene that reminded me of your situation here. A girl is in a metal box filling up with water, and a live exposed electric wire dangling at the top.
