How TMS Treatment Totally Transformed My Life And Ended My Depression

  • I was amazed at how quickly TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatment cured my depression. Maybe eliminate is a better word, because I'm still on a low dose of medication. But I'm really happy with the results and experienced no side effects.
I've been suffering from MDD Major Depressive Disorder for 20 years and this is the first treatment that has produced consistent and long lasting results. I'm posting this video about 6 months after I recorded this footage and in that time, I've only had one very minor decline in my mood. That is amazing because typically I would have experienced a number of more significant dips in my mood during a 6 month period.
I'm not a doctor, and I can't really explain how it works, but I just know it works. I also know that my depression wasn't "bad enough" for insurance to cover this new treatment, but it was the best $4500 I've ever spent!

As Brighton's wife, I can tell you that Brighton suffered deeply with his depression. And I won't lie, we both suffered from his depression. After trying multiple medication therapies over years, we finally found this treatment and after LOTS of research we decided to invest in it and give it a try. After 6 months, Brighton is still depression free which is remarkable since he had weekly episodes before. It was worth every penny and has transformed his life and our life together. I only hope it works for other people as well as it did for my husband.

Glad to see you're getting better and better bro❤🎉
As someone who has been dealing with GAD(generalized anxiety disorder) and panic attacks for several years, medicine worked well for me and i got really better after 4 years but, after finishing the drug treatment and leaving the medicines, my problems came back again...
Now my psychiatrist recomended me to try rTMS treatment...
now I've done 2 sessions and I'm going to have 3 sessions per week to 20 sessions...
And i want to say, from the first session, my anxiety is decreased and i can feel it...
If anyone is reading this comment and has doubts or nervous about this treatment, i recommend you to try it and be sure you will feel better soon ❤

I love to hear your results! Congratulations. Unfortunately, I've needed some maintenance treatments to keep my depression at bay. I was hoping I'd be in the small group that was cured forever. But I'm actually in the bigger group that needs a few extra jolts per year. Not too bad though!

@@BrightonsReviewsandMore there's nothing wrong with it bro...
Just like what you said, I was hoping to get cured for the rest of my life too,, and when i realised that my GAD and panic is coming back,, honestly i was so sad for that... I was like: why should i have to get treatment again...when will this end?
But, when i talked to my psychiatrist, he said: "we're going to try rTMS and we hope to get good results my dear, but EVEN if you use medicine for rest of your life, it's ok...! There's nothing wrong with it...
Just like someone who has diabetes and needs to use some Meds per day to keep them alright,, or someone who has blood pressure and needs to use some Meds per day to keep their blood pressure alright,,
It's just like that...some people need to use some meds per day to keep their mood alright... Don't balme yourself for anything... There's nothing wrong with it..."
And when i thought about it🤔, my perspective changed... i realised he's right...!
      What's the problem with that?
Now, I'm hoping to get better by this rTMS treatment (7 sessions so far, and i can feel the good differences), but even I'll be have to use some Meds after that, I'm totally fine with it... just like the other people who my doctor said as examples...
So I'm thankful there are so many ways to help us... To keep us fine...☺️❤️
TMS or medicine doesn't stop the life for us to get cured , life is going on, but they help us to keep ourselves better and move on 🤗

Were you able to discontinue your antidepressant meds? If so how did that go? I’ve completed two complete TMS treatments but was unable (scared) to discontinue the meds. Been on two of them a long time and so afraid the depression will return. Any suggestions?

I am about 2/3rds through my TMS treatment. Sadly when they did my mapping I came out needing a stronger than average pulse so my sessions are actually quite painful but I am just in the last few days starting to feel a difference. Im starting some light exercise, home projects I’ve been wanting to do and self isolating less. If it works it will have been worth it.

    • @BrightonsReviewsandMore

Congratulations on your success so far. I've needed to get some "maintenance doses" starting about 8 months after I completed the first run. And they started checking my "pulse strength" every week. So they adjust it a little. You might ask about that if they aren't doing it regularly. Good luck!

I've found that it comes back slowly and you need maintenance treatments. For some people it's permanent. For others it doesn't work at all, but for most, maintenance is needed. Best of luck to you!

I can feel the difference. When I take the standard test for depression, I score low. I'm still taking some meds. You can try this test online: www.clinical-partners.co.uk/for-adults/depression/a-test-for-depression/
You can take it weekly and think about the prior week when taking it. And track your score.
