It doesn't look like anyone has uploaded a non-extended version of most of the first Dai Gyakuten Saiban soundtrack, so I'll be uploading the entire thing. I hope this doesn't increases the chances of my channel getting taken down, but we'll see.

In DGS2 it's "Samurai with a mission that he doesn't actually want to complete but says he will anyway cause he wants to find out if his daddy issues are warranted"

Absolutely great theme, that fills you with courage at first, and then becomes basically a reminiscence theme...
I always seem to associate this song with that moment in 1-5 just after we had our conversation with Gina during the recess. Suddenly hearing this track playing was a beautiful way to symbolise the completion of both Ryu and Gina's arcs on trust in DGS1.
When this happened in case 5, I said to myself:
"Yep. It's just about that time again - the Ryunosuke simps for Kazuma again, time" xD
bro that scene broke me like a twig. Can't remember it without crying, the scene before with nocturne playing included.
Absolutely mesmerising in its melody. I can't get enough of it.

And It's still hard to believe it was just accident. Maybe we will learn more in dgs2, because his name was in that code.

but dgs 2's twist literally murdered me
this game's writing is so good. you think that kazuma hit his head and changed into a much more flawed person, when in reality, its runo that changed. he matured and began to see who kazuma really was. this is the first game to make me feel so heartbroken from making a beloved character come back

This is my absolute FAVOURITE theme in the WHOLE of AA.

I immediately fell in love with Kazuma during the first trial and was so devastated and confused when he just died like that in the next chapter. During TGAA1, I would just internally cry every time I heard this soundtrack. But I also felt like there was no way such an important character with such a strong presence would just go out quietly like that... and thank god, my suspicions were confirmed when this amazing lad finally made his comeback in the next part! I love this game!

Two spoilers. I've finished the first game and was unsurprised, but then the second hit me like a freight train. I tripped over it harder than Kazuma tripped over that cat.
(Spoilers) Not only does the song capture Kazuma's kind spirit and strong sense of justice, it also captures an "in loving memory" vibe, the high esteem Ryuno holds his lost friend in.
I loved him so much and was so sad when he died but

I think constantly about how we never hear this song in association with kazuma after dgs2-3 and beyond. kazuma's deconstruction in the last case of dgs2 hurts so much, not only because kazuma was hiding from ryuu, but also because of ryuu's own delusion. the more this plays after his death, the more ryuu idealizes kazuma. the ideal attorney. the embodiment of justice. and then kazuma comes back and he's just. none of those things. at least not what ryuu built them up to be. and this never plays again. because this isn't. really kazuma is it. its ryuu's idea of kazuma.

The sheer feeling of strength and determination this theme conveys... I was eager to hear it play at some point throughout DGS2, and then it just... never did. That was clearly deliberate and it really drove the point home to me.
Holy crap you’re right. There’s so much I want to say but I’m at a loss for words because I personally saw Kazuma the same way Naruhodo sees him since the first game. And then when we do see him I was happy but the heartbreak and shock at what he has become is too real and painful to accept.
It plays in 2-4, when he ask Ryunosuke to be counsel for the defence on that trial
Kazuma really has a great arc, in terms of shattering Ryunosuke illusions about his former best friend. It really hits home for the player, too.
@@l.n.3372 I don't think that we can call him «former». He is still our best friend, but we seen his dark side that cannot be seen when Ryunosuke was just his friend - not lawyer.
He drowned in his hatred to van Zieks, but he still can see truth.
When Ryunosuke show him another possibility, they begin to work together, as best friends.
This has no dislikes for a reason.

when I first came to this song I was in grief. When I come now, I reminisce.
My teenage self was most certainly not moved by the friendship between these two during the first case, most certainly was not expecting it to turn into a gay romance adventure that would take them overseas together, and was most certianly not severely disappointed that the main story had different plans.🙃
Thank god for fanfic writers. You guys give me life, always fixing canon in all the stories I love yet feel like they're missing the gay. 🥲
Also, best first case in the series. Kazuma and Naruhodou's friendship is the best part for me. I really enjoy how recent it was, and how deep of a bond they had grown in the short time since then, and also during this trial.
It's so freaking precious that they met in university, through something as banale as tongue-twisters. Love them to bits.
Still have to get around to playing past Case 2 and see how Sholmes, Susato & Co. stack up as characters. XD

I couldn't stand the thought of him being killed off so soon after all the character establishment in episode 1 that I [SPOILER ALERT]
went ahead and spoiled myself and could only continue after I did.

To be fair, Kazuma was supposed to stay dead, but fan backlash brought him back. Kind of glad as I don't want another Mia situation.
Btw i would like to recommend cool car guy's video on Kazuma Asogi! This song really captures Runo's subtle idolization of his best friend, with how strong he portrays himself. Its all just so perfect
