Peter needs to shut up about valuations. Its normal for businesses to be valued higher than current earnings, or valued on future projections. Peter is just trying to scam these people and convince them to give more of the company away.

The fact he's made £400mil and still acts the way he does makes it worse. He loves the cameras and his own voice, especially in the later series like this one. He's a lot more genuine in the first series.

Peter can be a real brutal savage when he sets his mind to it. Clearly their point was that potential customers like the fact that the couple themselves are parents. That they have children. That it puts them at ease about buying _their_ products. Peter and his buddy next to him are laughing at them. Both of them missed the point that the couple was making.
