An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.
#DragonsDen #Compilation #Top5 - บันเทิง
Top 5 things i have learnt -
1. Own the business/IP - if you don't, there is a 99% chance you are walking out of the den empty-handed
2. Networth evaluation - if you want the dragons to be chummy with you, don't value yourself at a million pounds when you have made a revenue of 10k. You are worth what you earn, not how much you can potentially
3. Immediate Result - Can you make the dragons earn back their investment within 1 to 2 years? If no, forget the pitch
4. Truth - Don't lie about how much of a company you own, what aspects of the company you own, whether your product is a pyramid scheme, etc...
5. Flexible - Don't be a smug muppet...be flexible and ready to compromise
Stroke their egos No.1
This is just common sense
real
All points completely moot due to the fact this is an inflated TV show that is in no way representative of actual raising investment.
brilliant
LIQUIPROOF is still trading but Touker resigned in 2018
Touker is the master of taking all the left over deals with a high equity share 😅
Those London offices add the extra value o.o
James Caan did the same. He really scooped up with motor mouse too!
Got to get that extra office space accompanied I guess
Good luck with washing anything with that on it!
strange the dragons have no idea theres plenty of things that do this! they look like confused children!
Lol
When Touker shakes your hand and says "we'll make money outta this" You know you're about to make some cheddar.
😂 Jenna has resigned from the company which is now worth a couple of 100 thousand squid.
It was a no brainer deal for Touker. Apply the coating to the fabric you already produce. Add another $100 to the price of each suit because of its cutting edge liquid proof tech. Touker probably made tens of thousands of dollars back or more.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
That first pitch is genuinely one of the best products I’ve ever seen on DD
Right? That’s what I was thinking.
For real!😮
Pitch was good, but not a new product. I worked in a furniture shop in 91,92, and we sold a treatment called Scotchguard that did the same.
Does it wash out is the only thing i could think of. Do i have to retreat everytime i wash my stuff.
@@variansvyes good point, if it's made to repell liquid, then could you wash clothes thoroughly. If not they're basically saying, spray it on then never wash your shirt again?
Why does Theo always look so sour? is it because he is giving away his kids’ inheritance? 😂
😂They will have to prise that inheritance out of his cold de*d hands.
Wasn’t that Touker who was always going on about his kids inheritance??? They look so similar that I get it confused sometimes 😂
@@hommefataltaeminnah touker is the one with lots of available office space
He may be wealthy but he is a total tool.
@@user-zp7bk6ce5hwho, Touker or Theo?

That first guy, although he didnt have the contract, I think the product is AMAZING and the demonstration was great!
Snakeoil salesman.
I worked in a furniture shop in 1991/92, we used to sell something called 'scotchguard', exactly the same product, liquid would bead up etc ... nothing new in his product
@@nickpellattExcept for the fact that Liquiproof is eco friendly, non toxic, non hazardous, non flammable and odourless.

@@CLOCKCHASER2222 Yes I also really liked the Ariston washing machine TV adverts from the 80's.
One of the main lessons from business:
It’s ownership or nothing
That's what makes Trump so Great.
You know nothing Jon Snow..
lol no @@jackabean3080
not true. You can have a patent and outsource the business. There are many different angles
@jarlbalgruufthegreater1758 but you OWN the patent... making his point.
Respectfully, Jenny bodied the second pair… cut straight through the bs and saved everyone’s time
The guy in white shirt was hot tho
@@Hugomad2Ugh
I agree.... but I still hate her 😂
@@Hugomad2 just shut up
And they did not like being schooled by her!
Please can we get a compilation of the best and worst business advocates, some of them were too funny!
The last one with the two Steves: wow what arrogant people.
So basically... 😂 that did my head in!
Good, you have to believe in yourself to succeed.
14:49, Touker: "You want the old man to show you"
lol he's such a legend
Really appreciate the lessons the Dragon's Den and Shark Tank and other such shows teach!
The power of the day-glow vest should never be underestimated. I wear one all the time and it’s like donning an invisible suit. People just assume you’re a workman or petty functionary and just leave you alone and ignore you.
😊
I like the confidence of the rubbish box men, but it clearly bombed. I have never seen people putting rubbish in a flimsy foldable box, the idea is so flawed. Picking up a box leaking bin juice and taking it indoors? No thanks!
It was meant more for recycling, but I get your point. They dissolved with a tone of debt
“Basically”
Derek doesn't own flow signals; they own his life.
But it creates certain problems. Suppose you miss traffic lights AND you miss flow signals. What then? I would suggest your Benjamin is truly cooked!
The "Flow Signal" system is now being used to shed light upon Brian's figures, which are separate.
@@cuttlefisch Lmao 😂😂
When they accused My Babiie of not owning anything, he should've echoed Peter Mathison's legendary catchphrase "I think you're calling me fraudulent... I'm not"
But he doesn't Ken does lol
This company is actually really good ive had 2 of their prams and they lasted and sold on. Lovely to push around aswel ❤
1:32 I wonder if this is the same stuff Deichmann (shoes) uses for £2-3 to waterproof them with .
They had a partition on the lift?? Then walked out and stood right next to each other??? 😂😂😂
Very nice compilation Thank you 🎉
"Where I am from everybody has wheelie bins but not everyone has wheelie bins"
The first guy seems to just try to use others for his own gains not adding anything himself. Using his background to flirt with Touker, saying "we" about a product he doesn't own, making up a "contract" that is not even fully signed. Snake warning.
Great upload, thank you 😊
Nice video, just what I was looking for! 👍
Giannavelli is Rawr. I enjoy his wide eyed innocence!❤
"So you don't _really_ want the 75 grand."
"WE DO! ...Please." 😂
Very charming guy, and he had the intelligence not to turn down Touker's offer.
Everyone that is thinking about drop shipping using aliexpress is an entrepreneur nowadays.
I knew it was bullocks back in 2007!! Let that sink in! 😅

You,Sir or Madame ,are an astute observer.
I salute you. 🫡
Interesting that we didn't get to see the Liquiproof packaging.
14:33 dang! The guy in the white shirt has got some back!
What a fantastic product!!
And yes you can buy it now.
5:59 haha im surprised he actually had an answer for that right on the spot
27:39 Theo channelling his inner Joe Pesci
Congrats, he "invented" the Ikea bookshelf boxes I bought ages ago
That's a great question.
Thank you. Lol
We can all agree that Jenny's tenure in the den was a complete embarrassment.
Sorry, what? Her appearances in the den are always interesting.
@@brettb154 yes, all those creative ways to get out of investing.
I do believe all of her investments have been a success.
@@Khonnell66 they all failed.
Why? She still has more money then you and everyone you know combined x10000
Theo will have to change it too grand children's inheritance 🎉
The man from My Babiie LTD looks like an undertaker 🤣 He doesn't exude much confidence. I wouldn't invest in his 'company' either.
his company is now worth 4.5 million pounds.... lol
Really?! Oops 🙊
Not Shark Tank? I’m in.
You mean Dragons Den Australia?
@@TheManInBlueFlames nah he's talking about the US version. We call it Shark Tank here in the states.
The pram dude is gorgeous 😊 But is it enough to secure a bid?
That first guy literally had one the best business pitches possibly ever, shame that product didn’t reach potential
55:05 I really thought he was going to say "...so... you don't have a business."
The “LiquidProof” product is exactly like Rust-Oleum’s “NeverWet,” which is a huge, respected brand, and 100% better branding.
Toouka is an expert in this technology.
Rachel always looks like she's giving entrepreneurs the side-eye
Timberland boots had a coating that repelled water, coke etc in the 90’s
Liquiproof is basically crep protect but for everything
The equestrian market is different to the bicycle market at £650 a pop
Theo really should asking his children if they want to invest before assuming the worst possible scenario.
Peter, and duncan looks like highschool heartrobs and bullies😂Rachel the cheerleader. and Doug looks like the one that gets bullied often
If that pram was in the store when I was buying pram, I would buy it in a heartbeat
its too low to the ground and flimsy. get a stokke or babyzen.
Sarah William looks exactly like Nancy Spungeon
If they don't own the rights, the dragons will give them lefts 😢
Free advertising with the prams
He owns everything to do with the product... Except the product.
The guy sold 50% of his company for $25k of legal services. He should've said "You can have 50% of the business until you recoup $200k. Then it drops to 15%."
Well, he had no business, he's reselling a chemical. I'm not sure someone uses them, only the outdoor people are interested in this and they buy from outdoor companies.
You’re awesome for this video!
Method 2 “Force Restart” worked and nothing was lost after powering up. Thank you!
No one asked how long the coating lasts ?
The Turkish guy turned out to be a turkey. 🦃
Arithmetic is very important, Children.
Did that guy Atom call Khan "Jamesie"? 😂
Kids is his business though...
650 quid for an airbag?? And for that reason....I'm out!😂
He's very handsome ❤
Its not correct that you can't write your own agreements, you absolutely can.
Is it just me or does everyone in London who passes their basic high-school education get offered a good job in banking or insurance? 😂
how arragant those binbox dudes where I DONT WANT THEM IN MY BUSINESS, these are top business people, fools
4 years working on the software lol, its an app any dev could make in a couple months
from 5 to 50 % what a joke!! 😂
Think he was realistic about the fact he hugely overvalued it in the first place
So you never need to wash your clothes again, that's convenient cos I doubt a washing machine would work with that hygroscopic smelly mess anyway 😂
first season of Dragon's Den had too bright lighting
I really really disliked Steve, the inventor, in the last pitch
It's a great idea ,in home repairman would get repeat business and new word of mouth business. We ladies would love it (1)our carpet, furniture and, whatnots would not get covered in sawdust
(2) we would not have to drag out our shop vacs and go over and over our carpets to get them clean plus dust,(3] ) Our home would be clean. What's not to love.

The first guy was just selling bottles and a lable
sean evans just destroys the pitches and program. why is he even there?
Crep Protect owns this market, liquiproof is nothing new, this is where you need some younger dragons in the den
That episode is 8 years old though
Yeah but shoes are designed to let your feet breathe. That's going to make your shoes really hot on your feet
Not all shoes are designed to let your feet breath, hence smelly feet.
So they are just salesmen for other companies really.
nick jenkins is a little leprechaun
Hi I’m jenny what is the opposite of in? But before you give me your answer i am going to ask you a load of questions and pretend i am interested before i say…. I’m out.
Two box men were just wagging it and the castrared rooster (capon is name for a castrated rooster) was rude
Boxer with arms crossed is not good body language!

Hi I'm Jenny and for THAT! reason I'm out
Not funny anymore 😡
😂
How original 😱
I know I thought of it all by myself,
I'm a pretty big deal
IDIOTIC COMMENT, Jenny made 6 investments and had a number of offers rejected, all these people acting like sheep, blindly following each other down the ' Jenny never invested ' route, when in actual fact she did invest
Touker did it because they are the same race.
Yeah of course they are, they're both in the human race. I think you mean they're both from the same Country ,every person in the room is from the same race
If you require such overkill protective gear on a motorbike you shouldn't be driving in the first place

'I know it saves lives, but I'm looking at it from a commercial point of view'

I mean, that’s the point of the show. They aren’t a charity, they are specifically looking to spend money to make more money.
