Hey, my son and I really enjoy watching your videos, they are light hearted, informative, easy to follow and family friendly. We watchedcsome of your videos multiple times. I wanted to share this with you and say that I appreciate the work you’re putting. Keep up the good work. 👍🏻
My current set-up and first attempt at using a Tablet as a secondary device is the basic entry model iPad 8th gen, Logitech K380 Bluetooth Keyboard, and Logitech Pebble Mouse. It's neat, comfy, and compact for my desk. On the go, I also own the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio, but I do prefer my K380's circular keys and key-travel if I'm typing up a longer paper for my College classes. All together, haven't touched my Windows Laptop since moving over to this basic iPad. Insane batterylife compared to my old laptop and a beautiful screen too. I've been so happy with the basic 8th iPad so I can imagine the Air 4 being a really nice tablet for University Students. I initially picked the 8th gen basic iPad as "test drive" into iPadOS and using Cloud storage services, and have been very impressed. Definitely get the Air 4 if you're looking for the complete package.
Just bought 64gb one for work studying purpose. Once you buy the Ipad, case, screen protector, keyboard, mouse and usb dongles are must. So, will have to use for its full purpose now.
I feel like the most useful thing is a solid state drive, stand, apple pencil, portable battery and charger, a great case, dongle, and maybe a keyboard. Oh and a bag or sleeve that provides protection and space to carry all those things. Thats the way I do things anyway.
If your an artist I suggest getting the paper like screen protector because it feels like your writing on paper or you can get a screen protector that is good to resisting oils
Love the passion put into the curation of these accessories! I was planning on getting the magic keyboard but you saved me by introducing me to the small little metal stand
My iPad Air will be here next week. I got the Logitech pebble mouse and the Logitech k380 keyboard. I also got the Apple Pencil and a silicone case for the pencil so I can grip it better. Then I just got an ESR case and a stand for the iPad. Also, got tip covers for the pencil and a matte screen protector. I’m so excited for it to get here. It’ll be my first iPad. I’ve got an IPhone so I’m really excited to get into the apple ecosystem. I think airdrop and handoff will come in real handy for me.
I have an iPad Pro 12.9” and I swap between two cases-one that is like a Smart Cover (but from amazon and way cheaper) and the magic keyboard. If I am drawing or writing with the pencil I use the one case. Otherwise, it’s the magic keyboard. I love how easy it is to swap between the two options.
Update on the folio case, they’re is now an ipad folio case for the Air 4, I actually own the case aswell, it works great and I love this thing. Only nit pick I have is that the rubber sides of the case loosen up over time and look a frayed, but it dosent affect the case and the functionality In any way. Funny enough my brother owns the offical apple iPad Air 4 keyboard, and i can proudly say that the folio case is WAY better for a fraction of the price
I've been wanting an ipad for a long time now. I am an artist a young one and of course I'm in school I really dont want to keep using the chromebook that my school gave us its mediocre at best and I'm fed up with it so I'm hoping to get an ipad for Christmas I told my parents and they said they would think about it so that's about all oh and i like to draw like I mentioned before and draw on my phone its well okay but my hand cramps up a lot so since an ipad is bigger it would be more practical and comfortable so that's all if you read this a hope you have a wonderful blessing day/night! :)
Leaning towards buying an Air 4 but really torn on the storage; 64 v 256. Obviously 64 gives me extra $ for that lovely Pencil 2 but I’m concerned it will not be a functional amount of onboard space. This will be mostly for media consumption if I’m being honest but I’ll probably use it to take notes and sketch designs for work (architecture) with Procreate or similar App. The latter will not be intensive but a supplement to paper sketching. I will not use it for taking photos . It seems any use other than cloud streaming probably requires more than 64. Even downloading a few movies for travel might break that storage bank. Do you agree?
I got the Air 4 a year ago. That 64GB went by quickly and I don’t use it for anything intensive. I use it for school, web browsing and some music. I’m going to get the 256GB Air 5 as an upgrade to this one. 64GB just isn’t enough for me.
My iPad slipped out of it's case and fell, corner down, to the floor. I had reaction time to break its fall with my bare foot. Ended up with a broken toe, but the iPad was saved. Hobbled around for a month though. :(
I don't use the iPad for working and stuff. And I haven't even gotten my iPad yet, I'm getting it for Christmas. But I'm getting the iPad 7th gen, one of the cases that folds into a little triangle, the iPad stand showed in this video, I'm getting a little keyboard, a mouse, a matte screen protector because I'm gonna use it for drawing a lot. And last I got a 3rd party stylus, but soon I'm getting an Apple Pencil instead.
When I look up the dongle that attaches to the iPad Air, it says it only works with the iPad Pro not the iPad Air. Is there one that works with the air
Hey! I saw this video when it first came out, but i bought that dongle thing that fits directly on the iPad. The rubber piece can be taken off, so if you do have a slim enough case, It would fit on the iPad
