I haven't had an iPad since it first came out. But the Air 4 is a gorgeous piece of technology. The A14 is the latest and greatest that will last for years to come. Gaming is smooth as butter. Carrying it around feels like a feather. Holding the flat edges feels like an expensive portal to the internet world.
Really having a hard time deciding between an iPad Air (4) 64gb with the magic keyboard and pencil or the new Pro 11” and wait/save for the extras. Wait for it to ship and wait for the pencil and keyboard as I save for a few months to get those accessories. Or get the 64 air. My budget is tight, but I’ll get the education discount. The difference between the 256 air and 128 pro is like $50. But the 64 air would give me room for those necessary accessories and no waiting. I sold my MacBook Air laptop to make this happen, which was a great little computer but I was pretty much just using it only for writing. I also have a desktop iMac I rarely use. Main use for iPad will be writing, school papers, web browsing, email, bit of zoom, LOTS of media consumption and streaming, reading, editing some photos, note taking and light doodling/drawing. It will be my first iPad in many years and I’m really excited. I’m hoping that with the magic keyboard it will function as my new “laptop”. What would you do? Spend my money! lol.
I was planning on buying the iPad Air 4 256gb version. But now I think I’ll be going with the iPad Pro 256gb version just because the price difference is not to great. Do you think this is the smart thing to do?

Today I got my first I pad. Even though that I synced everything from my iPhone to the I pad the folders with the apps didn’t migrate in the folders but instead they were everywhere. I wish I had seen this video earlier as I spent so much time to move the apps one by one and create the folders. Great video though thank you
1:56 As my phone is Android (switched to android 7 months after started using iPhone 1) and do like, I gotta admit that: Apple has THE BEST TOUCHID/FINGERPRINT Tech PERIOD. It’s fast, easy, and never fails....hope bring it back on newer iPhones (under display, or IN POWER BUTTON LIKE this IPAD!), I’d probably switch back to iPhone after get done with note 20 ultra (which is about 2, maybe 3 res when updates will stop 🤦🏼♂️. Another thing APLLE DOES RIGHT, the support their devices for long time!👍🏻👍🏻).
I am able to to the split screen easy but I am having a hard time adding additional apps to it. I know you had three apps on your screen at once. Can you maybe do a video of just that

I had (still have it attached to my oscilloscope) an original iPad Air, you can't update that passed IOS 12. I'm not sure if I can still get updates for my iPhone 7 but I just use that for my photography apps. Not all Apple technology gets updates.
Interesting video. Would be helpful if you would show how to UNDO some of these tricks. Duel screen is great but how do you get back to the full screen? Sometimes it’s as easy as a screen pinch, but sometimes it’s not.
This is one of the best iPad videos I’ve seen. However I wonder how much memory all those apps take up. My phone (64g) fills up pretty quickly with aps and videos.
As a student, I don’t see why I would use iWork or any of the apps like pages keybote etc when google doc is free too. Yes I understand that it is first party, but as a student, many things on canvas are on word documents and they don’t translate well. So using iWork is not really first party advantage because my format on documents or anything aren’t as fluent if Ibwere to just do word in the first place and do assignments that way

I got the 256 GB in green for Christmas. My husband has the 64 GB blue! Trying to sell my air 3 on Swappa. The only thing that gets me mad is air 5 will probably be out sometime in 2022 making air 4 old news. Lol
Hi thanks learned something new today. I also use a hub to use a mouse on my iPad so I can do alot more. This helps because I have a tremor in my right hand and the mouse helps to be more accurate when writting or pointing to move photos in something I am writting up. I’m a amateur photographer my self, use a iPad Air 4 with Adobe Lightroom and Affinity Photo. Have the 256Gb version, backup photos to local NAS, external HDD and Adobe cloud. Super happy with the setup so far. Just remember import photos to photo app and then to Lightroom. Backup from Lightroom make a jpg version of RAW files. Backup from photo app keep original file. (RAW)
The handoff feature you mentioned. What you showed is just the Universal Clipboard. Handoff is even crazy, my Safari tab can open there. Pages doc or keynote etc. as well. You can just stop working on one device and pick it up from the other.
For the Touch ID thing I wish you can edit what each fingerprint does like my mom usually uses her fingerprint to download apps so I can never put my fingerprint so say my mom's fingerprint will be able to do all the normal settings while my finger can only unlock the iPad

There are certain iPad apps that when multitasking look/work MUCH better side by side than separately. ('Alchemy' apps?) You mentioned Calendar and Mail. I'd suggest- Books and Music Files and Files Notes and Photos Files and Photos TH-cam (any news video) and Twitter (2020 presidential election great example!) Numbers and Calculator MT (Multitask) Any others you or your viewers have chanced upon/discovered? Feel free to steal this idea for a video. Always a pleasure to watch your videos... even for devices I'll never buy!

For photo editing I think you should get pro but for the others air is nice on a low budget

just to note: you can only have 5 fingerprints stored. you can increase that by using multiple fingers in one 'saved print'
