    • @shizmanbeat
      @shizmanbeat 4 ปีที่แล้ว +204

      Exactly. Sometimes no evidence is even required to figure out if someone is indeed guilty.
      The demeanor of this woman! Who in their mind thinks it's reasonably sane to act like that! as if you're annoyed/irritated of the fact that people are still trying to figure out where your missing child went! Not only does it show a clear lack of empathy, but it just further proves she did kill her child because the only person who would want to *stop* *talking* about a murdered child is the murderer themselves! The paranoia must have really been getting to her for her to be so unbelievably stupid.
      And this is where I'm going to say my unpopular opinion. She probably walked free because she's a woman, and a fairly attractive woman, so people just treat her differently! Women already have it fairly easy in the justice system!
      It's also why you'll still see people defending her online, because only an absolute joke of a human being could believe she's innocent! And yes, people *actually* defend her and even still make news articles on her as if she's somehow a victim. The people defending her are honestly just as bad as she is!

That is something someone might say when a child has experienced something traumatic and the parent is glad for the love given to the child in the past. Something to be thankful for, considering the situation. We can also make a case that by emphasizing that "she IS lucky", Casey was just trying to reassure her parents that Caylee is still alive, for their own sake. Lot's of red flags in this case, but this one is very minor at best.

      We'll never know if she did it. Only she will.
      Edit: My comment has met a lot of friction, so allow me to be transparent. Not guilty doesnt equal innocence, i know this. However, how she acted could be explained multiple ways. a phase of denial that perhaps came from dumping her daughters body in the woods after she drowned, maybe after killing her herself. the evidence is lackluster at best, the best evidence only being the unexplained odor in the trunk. Even then, that technology back then wasn't perfect, and was relatively new. I'm not her defending attorney, I don't plan to make a case for Casey any longer. There are ways she looks suspicious, but if you dig a little deeper, her not being psychologically sound is a rough thing to touch on. What we think may be the case may not be the case at all. Obviously, she's a pathological liar. She may have lied to stay away from the truth that her daughters dead and it was due to her own neglect. Maybe she lies to keep it off of her hands. However, what we know for sure is she's a narcissistic liar. I'm not claiming innocence, just staying nuetral because there's not enough evidence to know, and her messy psychological state will get us nowhere, as we may only travel in circles with the countless things that may have gone through a head that isnt our own. I posed the idea that only Casey knows. I stand by this idea, without claiming her guilt or innocence. I'm no longer responding to comments that tag me, as I would spend way to long arguing with everyone against my take on this and Kyle Rittenhouse. Thanks for your time.

      From what I could understand, the prosecution failed Caylee when they went full on the first degree murder charges, which would bring the death penalty into question, but they couldn’t proof beyond reasonable doubt how, where and when Caylee died and how exactly Casey was involved, so the jury couldn’t found her guilty of the charges presented. If the prosecution had focused on lesser charges, the result would probably be different, but they put all their efforts on a theory they could not prove beyond reasonable doubt. The jury could be sure that she was a horrible mother, but they couldn’t be sure on exactly what she did to Caylee. So that monster got to walk away thanks to a prosecution that didn’t know how to articulate the evidences they had gathered.

      @dualspectrumreality ytilaermurtcepslaud I think the guy meant the word psychopath doesn’t suit what you’re describing.
      Psychopaths have the disorder due to a genetic predisposition. They feel no empathy and can’t form genuinely loving relationships but they are good at mimicking and understanding human emotions. This is because to them emotions aren’t an actual feeling, it’s just a state someone is in and that’s what they understand from it.
      The better word to describe her would be a sociopath which is not a genetic trait but instead something that is born from environmental factors (such as never being accountable for anything she has done). Sociopaths are narcissistic and display antisocial behaviour.
      Unlike psychopaths who may be cold hearted but calculated, sociopaths are impulsive and usually leave a lot of clues when they commit crimes because they don’t understand how others may see them.

      @@lief3414 I totally disagree. Even with the assumption of innocent until proven guilty I think it's a clear 100% she did it. Her compounding lies and total fabrication of people, places of employment, and just absolutely everything destroys her credibility as a witness, then there is the journal entries, search history, and the total lack off emotion or distress over her missing daughter, and the motivation she had to kill her to reclaim her life and happiness, a fact she almost explicitly states in her journal. She had the means, motivation, and no alibi, she was the last person (who actually exists) to be seen with her daughter... I mean it's almost beyond any doubt, but it's certainly beyond a reasonable doubt. Even the jury agrees after the fact, but the defense lawyer was simple better at sewing confusion than the prosecution was at clarifying the picture.

It's pretty much all you can do at that point if they are blocking you from saving a life. They aren't going to come clean and they give no shits about whatever you say or do or how you get angry and you've already arrested them and inconvenienced them as much as possible.
      Though I guess the one thing you could rest easy on is knowing that the more they lie the more it gives them a longer sentence. But if there's any hope the victim is still save-able, i'd just be losing it wanting to tear them apart.
