I’ve loved this song since the album first came out. (I’m showing my age). Thank you for this lesson.

This song has been running thru my head for months. Every time I play and make a certain strum it reminds me of it and I could not put my finger on it. Once I figured out it was Sun King from Abbey Road, life was back in sync again! Thanks for the great lesson. It was awesome! The tune is amazing to hear and play. Thanks again.

Great arrangement Mr. Hart. I'll never forget the evening of Feb 9, 1964, the music coming from our little B&W TV set was like nothing I'd heard before. The Beatles imho were the most influential band ever. Your lesson is a fantastic time machine for guitar players who want to Get Back to the good ole days ;-) Thanks Dude!

My wife and I covered this for a Zoom show last week(with our bass player) Lots of great ideas here! I got the gist but you take this up a notch with your covering the bass notes and your voicings. The trick for us was to cover 4 voices(at times) with two! Thank you!

throwing in the bass notes was the key to playing this song. i have a transcription book of this record and it's good if you want to learn the guitar parts on the record, but god forbid you want to do an arrangement for a single guitar.

What pedal/speaker did you use? I got some pedal that mimics the rotating speaker and it sounds alright but your setup sounds real good

Thanks for watching :-) It's an old Ibanez Stereo Chorus... that's really the key. It has that old analog sweep to it. It's been a while, but it was most likely DI to the board

Apologize my english man....I'm Argentinian.... I Think that 1 chord is wrong (modestly Máster). The "G" chord...maybe G7 and not Gm7.... Is it right my perception?..... this is only a little opinion .....thanks, your video is very very good! Thank you Howard!

@@247GuitarwithHowardHart Right on! At first I was trying to do this with leslie via my H9 but settled on chorus and that is closer it I think..Chorusing in 69 was done with a tape delay trick? Wiki thinks it was a leslie but it certainly seems to be "reverbed" up to get that chorus sound maybe with the leslie? George is quoted as saying "At the time, 'Albatross' (by Fleetwood Mac) was out, with all the reverb on guitar. So we said, 'Let's be Fleetwood Mac doing Albatross, just to get going.' It never really sounded like Fleetwood Mac... but that was the point of origin."
