27:24 That has happened before, need I remind you that Blizzard originally had no intention to make Bolvar the Lich King in the first place but then did by the end of the Expansion?
This is an amazing theory and all, but lets be honest... Blizzard completely just forgot about the dagger, just like they forgot about the huge fucking sword sticking out of the planet still.
Would've been awesome if a whole N'Zoth fight was an illusion and what what actually happened - we fight through stormwind, and fought Anduin nearly to his death. And maybe this could be one of the reasons he gave it all up to become a lich², although there can be another reason for that, some secret plan or smth.
N'Zoth had the brilliant plan of exposing himself in an all out invasion of the planet rather than simply wait for Sylvanas to make her move and sweep in for the win while the protectors of Azeroth were occupied.
sylvannas can fly away with nzoth powers but nzoth cant beat us with his own powers in his own realm ? Wat. the writing is so shit now, even the cinematic makes no sense, they still haven't explained shit and Shadowladns has been out for like 5 months now
@@Afflictamine did you not watch the video? lol, nzoth let us kill him, so he could keep his soul forever in the blade and be immortal..pay attention dude like holy shit lol
I'm calling it: everyone fights over Azeroth because it's not just a "Titan/World Soul" but it's the Soul of Creation itself and whoever controls Azeroth controls Creation.
1. Blizzard isn't that good at writing 2. They want to create expansions completely different from one another so any threat we defeat is supposed to be gone. 3. While nzoth was not done justice, we gained our sanity back with the heart and cleansed azeroth. The whole point was to close the old god plot there.
This is what I am getting from all of this. Bellular, is far better at giving an explanation and imagining a good detailed story, than Blizzard is. I bet Blizzard story writers will see this, and go " oh fuck, would could do that." I do not for a second believe the outcome Bellular is talking about is planned at all. If anyone remembers, Legion story lines were unfinished upon release, and BFA was majorly behind schedule. Legion, although miles better then Chore-lords of Draenor, had story lines and arcs running all though it, that were completely unfinished, and just dropped dead ended. Does anyone really think they planned everything Bellular is talking about ... yeah, I don't think so. If it does happen like this, I am going to chalk it up to one of WoW's story team being a sub of Bellular's channel, and just found out how they get their next raise. However if they do do this, I would be intrigued, because N'Zoth should have never went out so such a idiotic manner. He is way to important, not to mention powerful, to just get slapped down like he does.
I think when nzoth says youre eyes are closed it means you fall to the light. As "eyes being opened" is a saying the nzoth refers to having corruption/shadow properties because it lets you see infinite possibilities and timelines. Which Nzoth always talks about and offered to give to different beings. It was mentioned a few times by other beings about that being the source of "madness" as people cant handle seeing all the things that could or would or wont be. The light has oppressive and single minded as seen with the more aggressive naaru in other timelines or the one illidan blew apart. I think Nzoth is actually warning us about how the light has become more bold and aggressive when dealing with mortals and that before we know it we will be taken by them closing our eyes to the vision of possibility given by the shadow cosmic forces.
Daily reminder that Azshara and N'zoth were dealt with in a single patch despite a decade and a half and a decades worth of build up respectively because the lead writer is a notorious Sylvanas simp. Rest in spaghetti, never forgetti.
Future Expansion: The Dread of the Void. Dread Lords have been found to be pushing the Void in to greater rash actions. New forces of the Void have been seen opening gates on Azeroth. Using their new Cosmological knowledge, a gateway is opened in to the Realm of the Void. During our adventures of tracking down these Dread Lords, we find N'Zoth, C'Thun, and Yogg-Saron recovering in their nesting places. The Champions must Raid the Nest of the Old Gods and put them down finally. Here we fight them without the restraints the Titans had placed on them, offering a new fight that is strangely familiar...
@Frog McFrogger, I think Shadowlands is rather fine, except it is suffering from the WoD-syndrome, too much time between patches which makes people feel like, "now what?" I even feel like it takes longer to get characters through Shadowlands content then it did for BfA content.
@@peteorzech260 Well wtf kinda complaint is that? It's like going into a shower and saying "this water is too hot, damn this government and their water supply!"

If not, then when Sylvanus destroyed the helmet, wouldn't his spirit be released? And he got these powers and his foresight of prophecy from the Shadowlands?
When the theories are better than the actuall lore... i highly doubt they will bring N'zoth back, blizz simply wanted to be done with this storypath and threw him out on the streets

24:12 I believe Wrathion is working with Nzoth. He looks at his hand, holding no blade and smiles after the stab knowing that the transfer was successful. Is the father of sleep the oldgod in the blade? Is he savoring his feast sustaining himself on Nzoth as Nzoth sacrificed himself letting them stab him. Sacrifice is extremely powerful.

That isn’t a game of thrones quote, what is dead may never die is originally from HP love craft, “That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die” they are going to return after death is defeated
Sometimes, you need an expansion to build up to a BETTER expansion, if you look at it content wise, the next part to WoW might be extremely good in terms of content if they're now laying stepping stones to build up not only their cosmos but the amount of content we might get. its a small hope but maybe we'll see more than 5 zones in the next leg of the journey and better improvements not just tweaks.
So not only is my character an agent of N'Zoth but also Denathrius and the Dread Lords are behind everything and they're playing all sides? What even is the ultimate goal here? Can Azeroth stop being a lazy bitch and wake up already to end all of this? Lord knows my character needs a break at this point.
this would be some A+ storytelling tbh. also his chat is dumb and knows nothing bout the game. yogg and c'thun weren't fully awakened. that's why they were so weak and on top of that we didn't even kill them. i believe all the PC did was seal them.
Imagine if Bellular was actually part of the story writing team. Bellular, Krucial, Nobbel87, people who actually know the whole lore and can guide the Blizzard guys when they step too far off the path.
How sad it is to see the THIS PLOT TWIST COULD SAVE WOW!! thing for years and years now, just to see blizz doing the most bland, cookie cutter, predictable story bs always.
When TITANS kill Isharadje its fucked all pandaria island with his filthy blood. And it was a Titans, not mirely mortals, mogu or gummi bears. It was battle of all battles. If we can do some thing like that, wave of Nzoth death will kill as all, like Hellscream dies, when he execute Mannaroth. And again, we fight Nzoth where? In anoter/alternate reality. In one big illusion, cus there no time and space in azeroth, where we can witness that city Was or Come. Its all seems to me like mind game. Like wizzard of Oz.
Would be badass if the raid was an illusion of Nialotha and another expansion adds all of Nialotha as a continent. Several raids slowly killing off leaders and parts of N'zoth.
I like how people say the devs didn't think that far but forget the fact that when they released burning crusade the idea was there for like 15 years before its release
Thank god Asmon knows that C'thun and Yogg was just fraction of imprisoned old gods body trying to escape but N'zoth is fully unleashed. Damn his chat has no idea about lore
You can find something really fun within the Lore... But in the end it's Blizzard, and they are gonna deliver the same shitty Blizzard standards that they have in the last 10 years. It isn't gonna change anything.
Titans are more powerful than the old gods. We know that because Y'Shaarj was easy killed by one titan alone and Y'Shaarj was the strongest of the old gods. Azshara is one of the most powerful beings in Azeroth. For thousands and thousands of years she practically drank from the well of eternity (which is an incredible font of powerful and if Azeroth is a titan, she drank directly from a titan). Sargeras even told Mannoroth how strong she is and Illidan, after getting his magic eyes saw and said Azshara's power could rival Sargera's. So, in the cinematic that N'zoth turns Azshara into the queen of the naga. I think it was an illusion. For her to think he was more powerful than her. All this time he manipulated her. She couldn't (and shouldn't) be easily killed. Another note... the old gods were imprisioned because after Y'Shaarj died, the titans saw how much the gods corrupted Azeroth. If they killed them, they would kill Azeroth. If all gods are dead, then why is Azeroth still up like nothing happened?
26:26 "Father of sleep" = Mueh'zala, Loa of Death. Historically speaking, death and sleep have often been referred to as brothers of one another, or related in a different kind of way. I think Ilgonoth was basically saying that we got rid of one threat, only to have its place taken by a (greater) one. That's one heck of a miss there by Bellular I'd say? :s

27:24 That has happened before, need I remind you that Blizzard originally had no intention to make Bolvar the Lich King in the first place but then did by the end of the Expansion?
Same goes with denathrius not getting killed
@@alaszrar6202 Was Denathrius killed? I thought he just put in like a timeout corner
@@heiko3169 (Not anymore :P)
Wait, no one thought we actually died. They were all surprised that we're a mortal walking in the Shadowlands lol

Well it is kinda theirs they're the people arthas killed with the scourge in WC3
Really hope something like this happens. I love the old gods
@@Fro609 yeah and its just a 'fan theory' which doesn't make any sense, just like blizzard's writing
@@Fro609 nice name btw
Except Sylvanas and Azshara planned to kill him, so he couldn't just not do anything and die.
We're still in the last phase of K'Thun fight, 100%
"The twist that could save WoW" I feel like I've heard that before
I'm calling it: everyone fights over Azeroth because it's not just a "Titan/World Soul" but it's the Soul of Creation itself and whoever controls Azeroth controls Creation.
out here making up your own lore
@@mortvald 😆
1. Blizzard isn't that good at writing
2. They want to create expansions completely different from one another so any threat we defeat is supposed to be gone.
3. While nzoth was not done justice, we gained our sanity back with the heart and cleansed azeroth. The whole point was to close the old god plot there.
Nzoth better gets that Illidan treatment
Too bad the Ducktales went on their last adventure, otherwise they definitely could retrieve that blade or other artifacts to save the world.
If this is true, it would defiantly put my perceptive on who's the 'good guys' and who's the 'bad guys' into question
I can’t figure out how people always replace “definitely” with “defiantly”. They don’t sound or even look the same.

@Frog McFrogger, 4 of them were imprisoned on Azeroth. So unless Azeroth is REALLY huge, it's manageable.
Besides, there's portal tech.
@Frog McFrogger, I think Shadowlands is rather fine, except it is suffering from the WoD-syndrome, too much time between patches which makes people feel like, "now what?" I even feel like it takes longer to get characters through Shadowlands content then it did for BfA content.
27:22 For sure. I truly believe that Tales of the Past 3 influenced the production of Wrath of the Lich King.
Shadowlands is just too dam bright! Hurts my eyes.
Have you tried lowering the brightness on your monitor?

that n'zoth voice actor
Whatever happened to main world version of Ner'Zhul? Wasn't his spirit/soul trapped in the helmet? Or when Arthas put on the helmet, then his soul was destroyed? If not, then when Sylvanus destroyed the helmet, wouldn't his spirit be released? And he got these powers and his foresight of prophecy from the Shadowlands?
He will appear in next patch
blizz watching bellular's speculations being like: "write that down write that down"
That feel when fans often have better ideas than the team.
Team? Im sure it's just one guy writing this in his jerk off break.
I always like seeing Asmon geek out at lore.
Asmongold: I thought the dagger exploded.
Also Asmongold: How can you forget the dagger it's so obvious!
Reminds me when they did that with C'thun in AQ. You can hear him talking to you very subtle
When the theories are better than the actuall lore... i highly doubt they will bring N'zoth back, blizz simply wanted to be done with this storypath and threw him out on the streets
The call that saved Azeroth.
Old Gods hate them! Get a quick rundown.
Sorry, but no amount of storywriting can save the boring, daily quest chore "endgame"
Dude but think of the "Allied Races" you could unlock for doing that daily "Endgame" for rep and "Rewards".
The endgame is mythic raiding, high m+ and high rated pvp. Daily chores are not endgame.
Lol I don't think anyone thinks the daily quest chore is endgame, none of the dailies are mandatory. Even the weeklies are optional.
Currently doing high M+ (20+) and mythic raiding with all the nerfs its a goddamn chore. Got my M+ mount, some 20+,Mraid and pvp and that’l all.
@@Engendroist Kinda same, Mythic Prog is fun, pushing logs/higher keys is fun to an extent, PvP is fun. Everything else I can miss which is fine because the games seems to understand and allow for that. I just keep enough stigya farmed up incase i need to replace a socketed item and that's it for daily work.
I just want real night time back.
Speaking of which, where has Shadowmourne been all these years? We used that to kill Arthas and then heard nothing since. You'd think something like that would have been integrated into the DK Order Hall as the UH artifact weapon...
My DK wields it and whenever I am in maldraxxus the peons tell me that I my weapon is beautifully forged, mawwalker la bla instead of ‚what to you prefer, axe or sword‘ 😁 thats nice, but I feel you
24:12 I believe Wrathion is working with Nzoth.
I think blizz hinting at where Old Gods go when they die is referring to Ya'Shaarj (because he was killed by the titans)
"normal character wouldn't do" , A friend of mine would get high and hang from the ledge of a 5-7floor building.
Ye I can see a dumb character releasing a demon from a cellar on accident.
Teldressel should have been the NZoth titan facility raid. Like the reason the tree got stupid large by comparison to Nordrassil was from old god corruption.
Nzoth is the dr strange of Azeroth.
I was waiting for this, always like Asmon takes on lore vids and Bellular makes great content
That isn’t a game of thrones quote, what is dead may never die is originally from HP love craft, “That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die” they are going to return after death is defeated
And the old gods are based directly from hp lovecraft
Hahaha! great comments on the vid Asmon.. love you
Sometimes, you need an expansion to build up to a BETTER expansion, if you look at it content wise, the next part to WoW might be extremely good in terms of content if they're now laying stepping stones to build up not only their cosmos but the amount of content we might get.
its a small hope but maybe we'll see more than 5 zones in the next leg of the journey and better improvements not just tweaks.
Void lords?
Shadow priests and warlocks: My time has come! FINALLY SOME RECOGNITION!!!
"they are walking plot devices"....armed with flashlights. XD
Lore won't save WoW, change in design philosophy, caring about your product and good customer service could, though.
this would be some A+ storytelling tbh. also his chat is dumb and knows nothing bout the game. yogg and c'thun weren't fully awakened. that's why they were so weak and on top of that we didn't even kill them. i believe all the PC did was seal them.
Bruh, Bellular giving Blizzard ideas for free. Shame they won't listen...
Plot twist bellular is secretly working for blizzard =)
Blizzard was a different company, 15 years ago. You can’t compare them then vs now.
Plot twist. There's a 7th seat to rule them all. It's captain cookie 😂
Thank god Asmon knows that C'thun and Yogg was just fraction of imprisoned old gods body trying to escape but N'zoth is fully unleashed. Damn his chat has no idea about lore
Anduin: Wake up, Samurai
"How can they forget about this magical weapon they used to kill one of the prime evils of the world?"
Vindicaar says hi.
It makes sense, thats why we could open the portal in the maw. "relic of the first ones, responding to a mortal"
25:28 man those brows are movin
it's sentient, imbued by dark energetic force by the ancient cosmic bald gods
26:26 "Father of sleep" = Mueh'zala, Loa of Death. Historically speaking, death and sleep have often been referred to as brothers of one another, or related in a different kind of way. I think Ilgonoth was basically saying that we got rid of one threat, only to have its place taken by a (greater) one.
That's one heck of a miss there by Bellular I'd say? :s
Wow classic can be another universe with another story line...
Imagine believing in that
