Based on the fact that you didn't show her freaking out at seeing the divine dragon for the first time and having that "how the hell am I supposed to fight THAT" moment, I'm going to guess she didn't make it that far.
I want to say that don't be discouraged by low view counts. Your videos are awesome and incredibly funny. This channel will definitely blow up some day!
Great video! Your DS one made me inspired to do my own play-though of the game, while my bf was watching. It's probably one of my favorite games of all time (rewatching your whole Girlfriend plays series as I'm trying to calm down from repeated deaths in Sens fortress) ☺️ So, thank you!!
Yay, thank you for another awesome video! I love watching the amazing dynamic between you guys! And as a noob to the souls games myself, it's inspiring to watch a person overcome its difficult challenges! :)
Man, the quality of your videos is absolutely phenomenal, probably the most entertaining content I've watched on TH-cam The way your girlfriend quotes the previous games always has me howling, she has such an authentic enjoyment of these games and it really comes across, nothing over acted, makes these games a pleasure to watch, especially when paired with your awesome commentary. Keep it up! 😁
i dunno why but a grown woman making such an "EEEEEEEEEEEEH" sound is just the cutest thing ever XD 4:41 OH NO SHE DIDN'T OHHHHHHHH PLEASE TELL ME YOU DIDN'T SCIPT THAT FOR HER XD
it's been a while since I subbed to a channel below 10k subscribers and I like what I see here so far edit: you know what. I give that bell a ring too. keep them videos coming
I think the difference between sekiro and souls other FS games is that the bosses usually walk or chill for a while to give you a breather. In sekiro, you get rushed down quick if you stay put. This game does require learning it's mechanics and being accurate with deflects. Iat the most fun FS game IMO. You should get her a little farther into the game like you did with bloodborne blood vials. It'd be interesting to see how she does late game. I wanted to see her reaction to the infamous gun Fort Bridge.
From what I've seen she needs the freedom to play her way, then mould that to a version of her way that's actually effective for the specific game she's playing. It makes sense that Sekiro makes this the odd one out, and why portal was such an absolute hit despite being a puzzle game.
"Sekiro's Souls-like, no one will deny that" I will, it barely has more in common with Souls than R1 to attack and respawning enemies IMO. Great video though, I've only just found this channel yesterday from stumbling across your Metal Gear Rising video, and Sekiro is probably my favourite game of all time so I'm always glad to see it get some love, especially with the rather steep difficulty curve in getting to learn how to really play it.
The objectively right way to play sekiro is by rebinding the 'use item' button to X (BB) or Y (ER, which I chose). I don't know how D-up passed quality control.
Awesome! And its good to see her tough it out and enjoy it. Personally, the lack of playstyle options (i.e parry is the only game in town), and the dissonance between stealth and boos fights kinda killed them interest for me.
On my first Playthrough I couldn’t get the mikiri counter down, so I got stuck on Genichiro for 9 hours, and right when I was gonna give up, next time I did it perfectly 🤣 and after that the rest of the game was cheese
Sekiro is my fav because of combat... I was so tired of this same roll, R1, roll R1 bullshit. Every game should have parry/deflect mechanic or weapon that allows to do it like in sekiro.
Crazy that people farm Blood Vials in bloodborne, all you have to do is skip ONE level and just go buy as many blood vials as you can and that pretty much sets you for the rest of the game.
The very first thing in Sekiro was putting the Healing Gourd on triangle and switch prostetics to the dpad.. It was my first soulsgame but it bothered me alot to have something on triangle thats totally useless...
Honestly at the Ape point of the game I wasn't loving it *too* much either. To me, the game comes into full bloom once you get a hold of the mechanincs and combat. In my case it became my favorite combat system at like the 40 hour point, and once that happened I was super-sold.
Interesting that she didn't really vibe with the game, but totally hit it off with something like Beat Saber. At its core, weirdly enough, Sekiro's just a rhythm game. Like Geni's long-attack chain after he winds up is 1-2, 12345, 1-2, then followed with a stab or maybe a sweep in second phase. You repeat the motions and jump through the (few) hoops the games gives you so often, that it really ends up just being about recognizing patterns and then executing. It's kinda sad that she didn't end up facing the best boss in souls history, but not every game has to be enjoyed by everyone.
Sekiro was my first "Souls-like" game and even I had difficulty wrapping my head around the need to block and deflect. Cause I knew Dark Souls was all about dodging. For as annoying as some of the popups are, I really could have used 3 in a row stating, 'No seriously, numbnuts, learn to block and not dodge or this game is going to be Hell.'
Just saying... started playing Sekiro not too long ago and had the same problem... DIDN"T KNOW HOW TO LOOT ITEMS!!!! There wasn't any real way to check in-game (or i haven't found any) and had to look it up online... It says a lot, considering i played all Souls games and Bloodborne A LOT, but was defeated with some strange "pop-ups"...

Let's just say she's stuck on a stubborn ape that won't stay dead xD
@@BoyMetGirl classic funni monke

Love how she quoted Maria as her first reaction to finding out you can resurrect in Sekiro.
Chefs kiss
“You can tell it’s a souls game just by how they open the door.” I was actually proper laughing at how true of a statement that was.
That Maria quote about corpses needing be left alone 👌

Wait these videos are so high quality, this was in my recommendations, I though there was a k behind the 724! Great videos and you got a new sub
Thanks so much! :)
“are money bugged” relatable, i took out 3 bosses before i figured out how to actually loot enemies
Very well written and edited. This is the first video I've seen from your channel and I'm quite impressed by the presentation!
i seem to have totally overlooked this vid! can't wait to watch it sdkfjsldfkasd
Fun and unique video! keep up the good work!
recently found the channel and catching up on the back log I just need to say that Matrix 'hes beginning to believe' caught me off guard lol
That use of the “what’s he doing?” “He’s beginning to believe” clip was absolutely perfect

That Hunnigan and Leon talk intro sold me ....
Happy to be here before this gets big, very fun to watch!
That transition at the end was so good!!
Any video that shows a clip of the matrix earns a like from me. Good video !
time to see if your relationship can survive rainworld
Thanks for the suggestion :)
For a less difficult but still fun and challenging time, I’d like to see her try Ghost of Tsushima.
From what I've seen she needs the freedom to play her way, then mould that to a version of her way that's actually effective for the specific game she's playing. It makes sense that Sekiro makes this the odd one out, and why portal was such an absolute hit despite being a puzzle game.

Sekiro was designed to do everything differently from Soulsborne. Specifically in a way to punish those who go at it like it was a soulsborne game
That comment about the missing death message was too adorable.
Cool transition by the end!
I sub to channels with such great content and prod value on principle. Keep it up man
This channel should definitely have more subs

I'd love an update if she ever finishes this entire game.
2:52 bro I literally had this in my first playthrough and played the whole damn game without loot or money.
I love how good-natured you are about your gf not necessarily being the best player.
I keep forgetting that most people don’t claw in stressful situations so they can hit any button they need
You gotta love the disgaea music, no seriously I love that series😂😝👍
I just love how excited she was about learning to jump
I was hoping to see her reaction to the giant snake and gouging out its eye.
I seem to be the only Bloodborne hunter who had to resort to selling blood vials and ammo at some point because I hit the storage limit
Awesome! And its good to see her tough it out and enjoy it. Personally, the lack of playstyle options (i.e parry is the only game in town), and the dissonance between stealth and boos fights kinda killed them interest for me.
Totally agree, it's not for everybody hahaha
THAT TRANSITION THO OMG

Changing healing off the D-Pad made this game so much easier
Sekiro is my fav because of combat... I was so tired of this same roll, R1, roll R1 bullshit. Every game should have parry/deflect mechanic or weapon that allows to do it like in sekiro.
Tbf Elden ring does have guard counter and punishes you for bad rolls more

A game that forces you to play a dex build. Truly her worst nightmare
Your girlfriend is emma gentle blade?!
Lmao this video just convinced me to try Sekiro
I started on sekiro. Now on elden ring. The difference is painful to adjust to the other way also.
good vid
Thank you :)
This is edited way too well to only have 300 views
Great video
Thank you
If she doesn't want to use the dpad to heal (because it's annoying) then just change the button mapping
Nioh 2
Kudos for using the HuniePop OST. 😏😎
Wooo guy. Gets you every time.

You two are so charming
Is the background music in the early parts of this video from Final Fantasy Tactics?
I had to rewire my playstyle when playing sekiro it was tough
Acshully if you die after resurrection npcs get dragon rot
Have her play Ghost of Tsushima. I freaking love that game.
i just quit first 5 mins in, never touch again
0:52 it just wouldt be a proper souls game without them
A sadist sighted!!!!
Good shit
hollow knight music over sekiro was giving me conflicting feelings lol.
Since I played hollow knight a lot I hear its music used by everyone now.
Once blocking is mastered, Sekiro becomes easy...and yes, those STUPID and RUDE tutorials are a pain and it continued to ELDEN RING! wtf!
Relationship goals
Sekiro? I see sekiro I click

Sadly I just could not get into Sekiro. Tried several times and bounced off it.
I mean.... technically there is a price of the multiple lives per death mechanic but you have to die _a lot_ for it to have any meaningful impact.
boi aint no way boi

Id excuse the pronunciation of sekiro IF they didn’t say it ingame quite a bunch
This was definitely the hardest souls game I've ever played.
Omg the butterfly lady made me quit the game. I still haven’t gone back to play it
you need to be really aggressive with her and you don't have to have the snap seeds.
You can also cheese her by spaming dodge->attack while alternating right dodge and left dodge
THEEEEEEE THEE THEE
i wonder how she felt about the final boss! lol
❤
Suggestion. Tell your girlfriend to play monster hunter world.
Just saying... started playing Sekiro not too long ago and had the same problem... DIDN"T KNOW HOW TO LOOT ITEMS!!!! There wasn't any real way to check in-game (or i haven't found any) and had to look it up online...

What can I say,
Wooooooooo
She has to play Nioh....
"This should be in any game"
... well now I'm wondering how she'd feel about Monster Hunter Rise and its Wirebugs...
YIPPIEEEEE
Your girlfriend has a nice spunky, lovely voice.
