- My hat has been dirty for a little while now. Decided it was time to clean it again and decided to film how I do it. Its not brand new but it will make a little longer before I have to buy another new one.

Tried on a particularly filthy hat that hasn't been cleaned in 10 years and it worked like a dream, Thanks mate, you saved one of my favourite hats from getting thrown away and now it is as good as new :)

One thing about the dryer part, I've ruined a few hats that wait as it tumbles it starts to pull the threading apart. I bought this plastic hat guard that snaps the hat in a mesh-like case to prevent slamming around in the dryer or even the washer. Excellent vid bro, I have not tried that degreaser or the oxy clean. thanks man!
He said you can also use a Brillo pad for “cleanin’ pots n’ pans n’ things.” That’s dropping knowledge.

Top shelf of your dishwasher, you can even buy a plastic form to snap your hat into so it keeps its shape. Works perfect, had a boyfriend that worked construction and that's how he kept his hats clean. My dad did it too

This is fine if you don’t care that much about the hat. But if it’s a prized possession, don’t put it in the dryer if you don’t want it to wrinkle up and possibly turn out unwearable. I had that happen to me once. Towel dry/air dry it, and try to do so with the hat formed into its proper shape.

Awesome video!!! I have a few of my nice8 hat's that need some cleaning. Most of the time if I have a hat and when it gets dirty I usually just turn it into a work hat hahaha.

My technique - a clean wash cloth, some Spry & Wash or OxiClean pretreatment, and some cool water for a final rinse.

I do these steps to my hats but let it soak in the oxy clean for about 30 min then after done put it on my 🧢 thing I have for washer and wash it in oxy clean detergent the agitation from washer and extra step washing it that second time in the oxy clean brightens it up

Never put a hat in a dryer. It will shrink.

everytime i wash mine the oxyclean keeps bleaching the color it cleans but it takes away the color
