It's so common for Greeks to inundate the restaurants on Sundays and public holidays. It's impossible to get a table and when you do half of the items on the menu are no longer available. I'm so glad to see that you've found a partner. I hope you stay together for ever.
Hi Rico I am from Cyprus and I love your videos, they are really authentic and show interesting perspectives and places we have in Cyprus. I saw your video that you made 11 months ago on how to make money online and as a young person it really interested me and I would like to ask you in the future to make more videos on this topic. My goal is to manage to have a good income and be able to live from it by working online but also in person if necessary. Keep up the videos and the good work. Any advice is welcome!
Hey, nice to meet you bro and thank you for your comment. I will keep this in mind, and I will talk more about business and especially starting a business in the future VLOG's. Thanks for your support and I wish you all the best, we speak soon!
Of course I know mulled wine, it is also known as Glühwein where I come from. Unfortunately, I'm flying to Germany soon to spend Christmas there, but after watching this video I'm determined to visit one of these Christmas villages next year. Thank you for this great information including the entertainment 😃👍
@@Rico I will be in Kaiserslautern, where I was born, celebrating Christmas with my family. I've only been living and working in Limassol since February 2024 and everything also is still a bit strange for me here. But - partly because of the great video - I'm inviting the family here next Christmas, if we're not all already living here by then😀
@@Rico Thank you very much, Rico. Yes, of course. I know Mainz very well, I've been there many times. I've just arrived and will enjoy my time in Germany, but I'm really looking forward to being back in Cyprus. Best wishes from the cold (2 degrees)
Where are the concrete blocks for security? Im wondering why you dont see them in Cyprus or also why you dont see police with machine guns at the christman market like in germany 😂
@@Rico It means that you upload the video with many differences. As viewers and I enjoy watching your video, I felt like I was waiting for a long time when the video was uploaded after many days.
For the locals NYE (31st) and the Orthodox Christmas is more important. For me, as I'm Catholic, the 24rd, as well as many others. So I would say, all of them because Cyprus is quite multicultural.
The Orthodox Patriarchate in Constantinople and the Greek Orthodox Church celebrate fixed feasts according to the new calendar, which means Christmas falls on 25th Dec.
Your English is fantastic however it is pronounced muld you don't pronounce the the e. Mulled wine is served to visitors on boxing day. It warm and spiced nearest I have had in Austria is Gluh wine
You bring something blond from Germany ? :) Christmas is nice but it is missing something when celebreat it in a hot country it supose to be dark could and snowy as in winter :) but intresting.
Interesting …… When you think about it, technically Cyprus is not that far from the very First “Christmas”! Accordingly, the weather there is more in keeping than that of other places in Europe - especially the UK which is indeed very cold during the bleak Mid-Winter!! Nevertheless, it’s interesting how we all have different opinions and concepts depending upon where in the World we live. Merry Christmas & Happy and Healthy New Year to everyone! 🥂
This is how Christmas should be!
Glühwein is the best thing in winter and especially during X-mas time 🤩
I also like it a lot! :)

Looks so nice😍
Oida!
Glühwein ist doch super! Ein wichtiger Bestandteil des weihnachtlichen Brauchtums, auf der Insel wie auch im alten Land.
Oida. Ja, der war auch super! Nur der Frau hat's nicht gefallen.

Which is bigger in Cyprus - the Orthodox Christmas on Jan 7th or the Western Christmas on Dec 25?
