@@Jabber-ig3iw mate, it's a grand touring car. They are supposed to be the pinnacle of luxurious high speed motoring. I get that you don't like it but I find it ridiculous that such an expensive car doesn't have it as standard.
Probably because there are people who don't want to increase the weight of perfectly balanced car, with engineers fighting for every gram in the process. Especially if the price is spending 15 seconds once a month (at max) to manually adjust your seat.
It is not a Bentley or Rolls-Royce gt after all. It's the McLaren's gt. If Lamborghini (Lotus, Pagani, etc.) are going to make some gt's, they probably will have the same attitude. And they will be right.

@@visionist7 I am not talking about autonomous driving, I am talking about adaptive / radar cruise control which simply maintains a certain distance based on a radar sensor near the front bumper. Everyone, every single bread & butter car manufacturer has it - But not the 200.000€+ sports car manufacturers. Is just a shame if you look at how much money you are sinking into such a vehicle.

This is nothing compared with all bad things in a aston martin and every gt car like this also have annoying things (turbo s/ferrari gtc4 lusso ...) and as what I know this is a preproduction car so the software bugs will be solved

@@chamotyannis I know a few McLaren owners, and there have been many complaints abt such issues, build quality, electronics shorting out and what not. McLaren need to do a better job considering what they are charging.

Thanks sir, i love the review. I actually test drove a 570gt yesterday and its so rough for a man that daily drives a BMW 7series and RR wraith. The spaces between the pedals are tight and it keeps revving up when downshifting. I was looking for sport and comfort and you nailed it with the Mclaren GT. But by the way, which are the most comfortable and relaxing GT sports cars?
For some reason it looks older than the current McLarens

Because of the McLaren logo headlights. They've brought it back to a new model since 2015. Also, dull colours make cars look old, vibrant colours usually make things look newer.

It fits nicely into a niche. It's for people who would like to buy a 570s, but in the end go for something like an AMG GT or Vantage, as it has added practicality and is a better daily comfortwise.

Roki Vulović I love German cars too... as long as you don’t buy one without a warranty or you’re able get it cheap enough and have cash in reserve to spend a ton of money on any repair it needs. My wife has a Benz we got new and had to send it back twice for a cylinder deactivating. Thankfully under warranty and I think it has been a computer issue both times. Nothing mechanical.

Just picked up my 2020 gt used(with 2,000 miles on it) and I've only driven about 500 miles but it's the best car I've ever owned. It is so comfortable but has enough power to keep up with supercars.

A grand tourer unites a luxury car and a supercar. This just is a different approach, not using a luxury car and making it more sporty, but rather taking a supercar and making it more comfy and practical. Really like what they done. Stunning looks, great, modern interiour and great performance. Modern interpretation of a classic concept. And well done so.

I kinda love this car. I can forgive it for being mid engined because the overall design is brilliant.
What i'd prefer, since we're talking about a GT, is a more glorious engine (a N/A V12 would be perfect) and more baroque interior (a sportier version of the Continental GT would nail it).
