  • My name is Tyler Shogren and I am a 17-year-old Blacksmith starting at the age of 13. On this channel you will see the documentation of me and the cool projects and odd ideas that might come, great to have you join me on this journey!
Here I am making a Forged Knot Necklace, made from about 5 inches of 1/4 inch hot rolled round stock. Also using a 3/8 half round fuller.

Came over for a look from your post on old hickory forge. The video quality/editing and craftsmanship made for great viewing. I didn't skip ahead at all, which I find myself doing alot with forging videos, so you did something right! 👍

Nicely done, elegant in its simplicity of form. Folks who don't smith have no idea we can move steel like that.

That was one that I absolutely love to make because, every time someone sees it they have no idea how I did it... and I let it a mystery for a long time!

Super nicely edited! I feel like a forehead GoPro might be fun to add to the mix - I want to see stuff go in the furnace 😁
