  • Hi ! :) Sorry for the slight delay! I hope you enjoy this video in which I show you my favorite nut butter recipes as well as a few tips I've learnt with trial and error !!! :) Who else loves nut butter and who's ready to make more homemade stuff ?I'm gonna try to commit to it!! yay !
    RECIPES (they make big yoghurt size quantity, I only wanted to make the amount for the video and not waste too much :))
    Peanut Butter:
    1 cup natural unsalted peanut
    Pinch of salt
    Almond Protein
    1/4 cup flax seed (the brown ones are actually healthier but I was out!)
    1 cup natural almonds
    Nutelaaa
    1/2 cup peanut
    1/2 cup hazelnut (I keep the skin)
    Once liquid.. 2 tbsp raw cacao powder or protein powder!
    Adjust with sweetner after blended (not in the mixer or it will seize!)
    Method:
    For all roast the nuts either 6:30minutes on the grill, 4minutes at 200C or in a pan
    Then let it blend in a food processor!

    The new Ninja Duo makes amazing nut butter without any fuss. It has a top which you turn anti-clockwise, which pushes the nuts down into the blades - an amazing powerful machine for nut butters, hummus, smoothie bowls and smoothies and more. Thank you for your recipes and tips 👍

    Oh god, finally someone said it clearly about sugar and nut butter sequencing! I made almond butter today and added the sugar with it, literally blended it for more than one hour but I didn't get the desirable consistency. I somehow guessed sugar could be one reason because everything I did was totally on point!

    Dear if you would slightly dry roast the flexseeds and coarsely grind them and add it to the almonds it would be more beneficial.

    What food processor do you recommend for making nut butters, what is the ideal size?
    Is it actually cheaper to make nut butter is it worth the hassle, is it worth getting a food processor just for that? What might be some other uses for a single person

    • @TheAmelieme
      @TheAmelieme  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i answered most of these questions in the video :) 1. high speed blender (ninja, vitamix, omniblend..) OR S blade food processor is great. 2. Worth the hasstle : depends your take! all in all, even you split by 2 the costs, it only is a couple of bucks (which can be a lot for some). doesnt come down to just that, its also the satisfaction of doing it & no waste & personally find it way tastier! 3. I wouldn't get a food processor just for it, unless you are consuming high amounts of nut butters, then yes!

      Thank you, and I never tried actually! it sounds interesting and promising and I would say it wouldn't take long.. because walnuts aren't as hard as almonds for ex. However, I would add a pinch salt, some walnuts can be bitter.. ! let me know how it goes:)

    • @TheAmelieme

      Hi Eva! thanks for your comment! 750W is way enough to make nut butter! I don't think mine is as powerful, mine is a kitchenaid and if I remember well its 400W so it should be super easy for you ! xo

    Hi! Thanks for the video! Have you tried soaking the nuts beforehand to soften them? :)

    • @TheAmelieme
      @TheAmelieme  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      hi Sarah! thanks for your comment, is this a question or suggestion ? because no, i wouldn't suggest this at all, never add water to your nut butter unless you want it to mold in about 2/3 days ....by soaking nuts you hydrate them and they're never fully dried unless you wait like a full week to process them!

    • @DjinGeo88

    • @davidsheriff9274

    • @TheAmelieme

    • @toosiyabrandt8676
      @toosiyabrandt8676 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      HI
      It is good to soak [ Activate] your raw nuts, but they then have to be dried thoroughly before you can store them. And before making nut butters from them they need to be dry roasted. The soaking is to remove the phytic acid that covers all seeds and grains, as the phytic acid prevents us from digestic the phyto nutrients if it is not removed by soaking. Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua.
