I was watching videos about the Neo, and although I loved almost everything about it, I didn’t like its low image quality. Since a drone is basically a flying camera, the Neo falls short on the biggest selling point for me: camera quality. So, if I go with the Neo, I would use it for FPV. That said, the Avata 2 sounds like a winner on both those points: FPV and video quality.
I just got my Neo and today after outdoor flight camera was awesome! I do have the RC 2 controller so could take full advantage of the long distance flight and best HD images. The downside is its battery duration, I believe the video mentioned 30-40 mins and it’s not like that, it’s more like 20 mins.
the Avata 2 requires the FPV goggles, you cannot fly it with just the controller or motion controller as it uses the FPV goggles to connect to the drone and controller
True, but not the whole story. You can plug your phone or tablet into the goggles and use the DJI Fly app to fly the drone if you don't have a spotter. It mirrors the goggles screen. Just a slight bit of lag, but it's good for cinematic shots higher up. I wouldn't try to fly gaps with it, though.
@OneShotDroneTours wow thanks, it was really hard. may i know how do you remove lighting flicker inside a house, i have set in avata 2 settings flickering to auto but still got flickers since i record it in 60fps. is there way to remove it in post?
Instructions unclear, card purchased both 🤪... In all seriousness, the Avata 2 for enthusiasts or the Neo for beginners..... or the Neo as well for an ideal 'throw in the bag' type drone for flying on holiday. The bad part of the NEO is the camera is very verrrrrrrry bad. One thing to take note on.
NEO camera is NOT "VERRRY BAD" But with a 1 axis gimbal, Rock Steady crops it waaay down to stabilize or horizon steady the image. If you remove ALL stabilization, drop the oversharpened image by setting sharpness to -2, noise reduction to -2, and stabilize in post w/GyroFlow.
I'm just looking keep an eye out. We have had problems, out here away from town, with poachers. As I'm not looking to make quality videos of poachers, this video, for me, is pointing toward the Neo. Thanks.
We're trying to compare a row boat with an Aircraft carrier here using an artificial intelligence narrator which cant quite get the subtle irregularities down of the English language. All said, I'd prefer a human, because the actual producer could easily be a fat bald 50 year-old man living in his moms basement.

@@rafaelcardenas515so the neo is worth buying?
Perfect, just what i was thinking
Why is there an avatar 1 video clip cut in at 1:00?

@@TexJTDroning That's how I usually fly it.
@@almeisam I hear you. I read your comment completely wrong, probably after a few beers. All apologies. 👍
I cannot find the fly more combo for the dji neo
Amazing comparrson. Thank you !
Volkswagen Golf vs Ferrari which one to buy ?
Go for both!
Power Bro
Avata 2 is much more solid compare to the Neo. No doubt about this.
Ferrari for your everyday shopping and stuff, and Golf to go wild on track days, obviously.
The reason to buy a Volkswagen Golf over a Ferrari is price point.

Bro clearly doesn’t have the neo he does he’s judging a book by its cover
Actually the neo has manual mode but is hard to use because it’s light
Neo 4K looks more like 720p upscaled. ;(
😮
Say the prices again? 🤨🤨
1,000,000 for the full combo. 😅
I agree. They arent at all in the same price range
😂😂😂
@@billnad na it was funny that all of a sudden he had an Indian accent out of no where….
😂😅
What happened to obstacles avoidance. And still not water proof. U hit the water and there fried
Obstacles avoidance is good enough for its price.
I picked up both because of course I want to fly the neo in FPV but had to get the avata 2 for the peripherals . Can't wait to check them both out
Best of luck

Avata2 has required RID and is over 250g weight. Neo has no RID and is only 135g
Just buy a slightly used AVATA combo with DJI Integra and motion controller for $400 and you can have almost the best of both worlds.
Good point.
AVATAHH
Nice content subbed the Chanel

They're still making 4k 30 in 2024...

@@Techsquare_ just saying it should be an optional feature by now. 🤣 But I've seen it and it doesn't look 30 frames. Maybe 35 but definitely not 30.
