    TH-cam has been recommending a whole bunch of high quality channels that i assume are 10x more popular than they actually are. Great vid, and I’m really intrigued by these lenses now!

      @@cyano3d I love the 25 because it's closer to a 35mm ff and that's my jam. I just wish it was the same size as the 35 and 50 cause it is quite a bit bigger.

    I bought the Mitakon Zhongyi 25mm T1.0 Speedmaster Cine Lens for the same reason why you bought these lens. After shooting on the speed master in New Orleans and after trying my hands on the 7artisans 12mm I would suggest the 7artisans any day of the week simply on the build quality. While it was nice that the speed master's focus ring was less stiff. The 7artisan's is way more durable. The speed master's mounting plate is screwed together with these tiny screws that are made to hold eye glasses together and it almost didnt last the weekend. I had to tighten the screws with a kitchen knife because they were so tiny. The 7artisans screws are not going to budge any time soon.
    So if you ever see any one considering getting Mitakon Zhongyi speed master. Convince them that the 7artisans is the better choice.

    • @caffeinatedcameras
      @caffeinatedcameras  ปีที่แล้ว

      Man thanks for the insight. I’ve looked at the Mitakon a few times. These are surprisingly well built lenses.

    • @Breonnick
      @Breonnick ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@caffeinatedcameras So sense I made this comment. I got my hands on the 25MM sense I wanna stick to the same line of lenses.
      The 7 artisans at T1.4 has the same brightness and bokeh as the Speed master at "T1".

      @@caffeinatedcameras I'm excited to try out those adapters once they have more info on them I'll be a bit more inclined to dive in. Alos off of your most recent video, don't fret the YT side of life. You make amazing content. I've been sitting at like 600 subs for like 4-5 yrs. I make content as an outlet bc I don't want to market and brand and fall into a video cycle but you make content for people and I think once you find what you are looking for you got it.
