Installing the TurboXS Titanium Tip Axle-Back Exhaust on the 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i!

- Installed the TurboXS Titanium Tip Axle-Back Exhaust on the 2.5i, and it went pretty smoothly considering this exhaust was designed for a WRX! I am very happy with how it came out, not too loud, but still getting that little Subie rumble. I might install uel headers and a new midpipe in the future to really get a nice loud rumble but in the meantime, I will just have an axle-back, to save a bit of money.

The gap is because it’s like you said stock Exhaust to aftermarket 3 inch
I have 2.5 inch full exhaust on my 07 2.5i wagon, but with UEL header and cat section from an 04 n/a wagon, sounds awesome, just have a 12 inch glasspack and it's not that bad for drone but still barks nice when you floor it :)
Where did you get your uel from, I gave a sedan version
Next modification should be coilovers or springs to lower that little beast lol.

I have the same but a 2007 (same color and all) and doing the cat back this weekend. I’m hoping I don’t have too many issues getting it to line up and bolt on. I did buy a grimmspeed 3 inch stock down pipe to aftermarket cat back adapter so hopefully that will help it go on smooth. Good work buddy.

@@hawkmoon993 it didn’t fit just like our buddy here on GKGT 😂 except I took my Impreza to maximuffler and they welded an extension on for me for $70. Loud as heck now and totally unrestricted. Lost some low end but gained a ton of high end speed.

You need a full mid pipe the Impreza comes stock with a 2in half inch and that new muffler it’s 3 inch
I was looking at this but they want 250$ just to weld it on here in Colorado😢 not even worth it anymore
I have the exact same car but black and so far it seems like you're doing a great job with the car mods, relatively tasteful but for the love of Christ please do not put an sti wing on the car, it'll just get you made fun of. I love the build so far though so don't stop posting! Also this better be a manual lol.

I think i pretty much have the exact same car as you and thinking about maybe getting this exhaust are they any extra things you had to do figment wise I guess

That exhaust is for the turbo ej205.

And Can any turbo xs exhaust fit on, Found a 4.5 inch exhaust was wondering if the end pipe would be different also.

no probably not. that’s an i4, these aren’t. they sound infinitely better than an i4

is the exhaust for a wrx or for a 2.5i
its made for a wrx but all wrx axle back exhausts will fit on a 2.5i. Catbacks will not however because the flange on the wrx's downpie is different than the one on the 2.5i
@@spencerwrx so couldn’t u just order some uels and a cat back since depending on the kit it should come with or catless downpipe then get a cat back since mines a 2.5i as well
