WRX Muffler Delete Sound Clips | Remark Axle-Back Stealth Edition
What are your thoughts on the new Cobb update? (Personally, I am not exactly pleased, as I got my Accessport on the day of the announcement, and updated without even realizing :,) ) And no new STI???

Sound Ordnance B-8PTD Sound Test & Review | Audio Setup Part 3
มุมมอง 13K3 ปีที่แล้ว
The Sound Ordnance B-8PTD is an amazing deal and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting some great bass on a budget. The sound and build quality is that of the higher end brands, and its compact form makes it so you don't have to lose any cargo space. Paired with some after market speakers, like I have, makes for a great combo, and I would highly recommend having aftermarket speakers if you ar...
How to Install Rear Speakers on 02-07 Subaru Impreza | Rockford Fosgate R14X2 | Audio Setup Part 2
มุมมอง 6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Removing and installing rear speakers on the 02-07 Subaru Impreza is a very simple job anyone can in about an hour. It requires very little technical work or experience. This is part 2 in making a badass audio setup for my Subaru, wherein part 1 we installed a new head unit with an additional amp, and we now have a full set of speakers. In part 3 we will be installing a subwoofer to get some tr...
Alpine iLX-W650 with KTA-450 Install on 2006 Subaru Impreza | Audio Setup part 1
มุมมอง 7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
To start off my audio setup I got the Apline iLX-W650 infotainment system, with the additional amp so I can blast music extra loud :). Installing the iLX-W650 is pretty straightforward, but is tedious, and also having the amp requires a bit more effort, but in the end, it is worth the work. If you are installing one yourself and have any problems don't mind asking in the comments and I would be...
Power Stop Z23/K1127 Brake Kit on 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i

Installed some new brakes to replace those old rusty ones, and it went very well! I didn't run into any problems and they perform excellently for a great price! www.summitracing.com/parts/PWR-K1127
Installing the TurboXS Titanium Tip Axle-Back Exhaust on the 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i!
มุมมอง 21K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Installed the TurboXS Titanium Tip Axle-Back Exhaust on the 2.5i, and it went pretty smoothly considering this exhaust was designed for a WRX! I am very happy with how it came out, not too loud, but still getting that little Subie rumble. I might install uel headers and a new midpipe in the future to really get a nice loud rumble but in the meantime, I will just have an axle-back, to save a bit...
Ok so I have what you have but it’s cutting on and off is there something I’m doing wrong ?
Probably a bad ground. Make sure the paint is completely gone. And tighten the connection down good and you should be good to go.
A better way to do a Sound Test would be to have a Before & After. The actual sound won't come through, but the difference it makes will (if the listener's headphones are good enough).
I was looking at this but they want 250$ just to weld it on here in Colorado😢 not even worth it anymore
amazing job
how did u get all those pops😮
En español el bideo
That exhaust is for the turbo ej205.
By cutting the plastic around the speaker hole, you are now letting the rain water have access to the inside of your car. Tape or not, rainwater will run down the inside of the panel and piddle on your carpet.
It is a vapor barrier, not a rain barrier. It will be fine with the tape.
To bypass the handbrake issue all i did was wrap one of the wires (not sure which one since its dark outside and i canr be bothered looking) around the radio holes and it worked.
Just changed out the speakers on our 2004 wrx. We have owned it since brand new. just awesome cars....👌 Great job with this helpful video! Thank you!
This was useless. How did you wire the amp in. Lame
Why did you not show any of the wiring process? Did you have to run a power cord through you firewall to the battery for this amp. You gave little to no info in this video. Pretty much just showed the before and after shots.
You need a full mid pipe the Impreza comes stock with a 2in half inch and that new muffler it’s 3 inch
Idiot
Odd I like the the oem sound better.
do you know any other good axle back exhaust that will fit a 2.5i 06? For under 500
And Can any turbo xs exhaust fit on, Found a 4.5 inch exhaust was wondering if the end pipe would be different also.
Thinking about this for my 06 legacy gt
i love when people "show us" what the music sounds like through a recording on youtube. still makes me laugh and shake my head everytime.
Settle down, Jethro. We all know the sound will not be accurate.
@@397coney7 and yet, its still funny...
not sure what you mean... the bass out of my iphone was shakin' the windows...lol
@@JohnHilman1968 i meant exactly what i said, and everyone else seemed to understood it. But lets get to your comment: "the bass out of my iphone was shaking the windows". That is physically not possible- bass frequencies are 20-60 hz generally speaking and the larger the speaker the louder it will be and the more you will feel it. But by simply what you described, it is impossible. No iphone or any small speaker will be able to generate the frequency AND the volume to "shake your window". Next time you attempt to waste my time, know what you are talking about before you post bs.
@@Bo12346hhgfgdg I dunno bro. I have an Android and listening to this video also shook my windows too.
I have 2.5 inch full exhaust on my 07 2.5i wagon, but with UEL header and cat section from an 04 n/a wagon, sounds awesome, just have a 12 inch glasspack and it's not that bad for drone but still barks nice when you floor it :)
Where did you get your uel from, I gave a sedan version
How are these holding up? Thinking about getting these to replace stock ones on a 07 Impreza Outback Sport
i got this exact car and ive been planning on getting it a new muffler for a year now lol
Wrx go skkkkratt
WRX goes *BOOM* *POP*
If there is anyone that is wondering how I get the one really big pop is I go full throttle in 3rd to about 4K rpm, then shift to 4th and fully let off the the throttle.
The gap is because it’s like you said stock Exhaust to aftermarket 3 inch
Did this involve any trimming of the trim around it?
Nope :)
@@spencerwrx Awesome! Scared to trim my 92x trim so this is perfect!
I have virtually the same car but it’s a 2.0 rather than a 2.5. Would this still fit my car?
Would this work with just a stock factory radio and upgraded door speakers?
Yeah prolly so. I’m not sure how it hooks up but I’m sure it’s some sort of line out converter
It will work via factory stereo, but, if your factory radio does not have level output jacks you will have to tap into your L/R speaker wires and use the high power input in the sound ordnance connector. Of your existing deck does have level outputs then you just need two male to male RCA cables.
Great job on the video and most of all, I'm envious of your gorgeous hair!
I think i pretty much have the exact same car as you and thinking about maybe getting this exhaust are they any extra things you had to do figment wise I guess
Hey there, quick question. With the KTA 4 channel on the back of the head unit, can you still use Apple CarPlay? Is there enough room to run your lightning cable/USB cable between the head unit and 4 channel out to your phone?
Yes there is enough room and I can still use Apple CarPlay. If my memory is correct I believe the infotainment system comes with a 90 degree usb extension so there should be no clearance issues :)
Not for me man
Will this fit the 2005 2.5rs model as well???
yes it should :)
do you think it would sound good on a 2015 camry Le 4 banger
lmao if you could make it fit yes
no probably not. that’s an i4, these aren’t. they sound infinitely better than an i4
How do you like this HU and its amp combo after using it for a few months? I'm installing the same setup in my S2000 mainly because I couldn't find anything else that will fit in our JDM in-dash navigation housing (air ducting is right behind where the nav bracket goes so we have to have a super shallow device).
Love it! Not one complaint yet, works perfectly and does everything I need it to do, and damn does it get loud! (love s2000's btw ;))
is the exhaust for a wrx or for a 2.5i
its made for a wrx but all wrx axle back exhausts will fit on a 2.5i. Catbacks will not however because the flange on the wrx's downpie is different than the one on the 2.5i
@@spencerwrx so couldn’t u just order some uels and a cat back since depending on the kit it should come with or catless downpipe then get a cat back since mines a 2.5i as well
@@hawkmoon993 wrx uel headers still angle upwards towards the turbo
Where are your jack stands bro ?
dont worry about it
@@spencerwrx Wow you a bratty little kid.
The guy at the audio store gave me this piece to install to be able to use it out of park
Next modification should be coilovers or springs to lower that little beast lol.
Next video coming soon ;)
Forgot to mention in the video but the reason why it's so cheap is because Sound Ordnance is Crutchfield's own brand! Idk I thought that was pretty cool :)
I just got mine from Crutchfield and now waiting on my back order for a Pioneer receiver. I'm 71 years old and just need quantity sound in my Outback
damn boy you lookin fresh as hell
stop your making me blush
@@spencerwrx ;)
DAMN YOUR SEXY AS HELLLL!!!!!
SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
I have the exact same car but black and so far it seems like you're doing a great job with the car mods, relatively tasteful but for the love of Christ please do not put an sti wing on the car, it'll just get you made fun of. I love the build so far though so don't stop posting! Also this better be a manual lol.
Haha 1) don’t worry not planning on getting an Sti wing and 2) yes it is a manual :)
great video! I have the exact same year and model and am going to do this to mine! can you notice a difference in the sound quality with the new speakers?
yes I can definitely tell a difference between the old ones and the new ones, they sound much more crisp and have much better mids
Needs more spice
Mmmmm crispy
