    I've been trying to pinpoint what it is that makes your recipes so easy to follow, and I've come to believe that a large part of it is how calm and assured your voice is as you give each step. Make no mistake, the recipes themselves are extremely good. But the video tutorials you put out are great because of how you deliver knowledge and techniques. I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm down with a cold right now, but as soon as I feel better, I'll be making these rolls. They might work well for sliders, too, huh? Thanks so much Ms. Bell!

      I also think her peacefulness is her calmly telling and then her pauses while we view her demonstrate what was just told.
      It gives our thoughts a moment to process the information.

    Please keep your videos coming! The detailed instructions are so helpful. I need to know that you were on setting 2 on your KitchenAid! I also loved the progression of kneading. Most won't show the whole process and I'm never confident! Thank you

    I JUST recieved my grains and decided to try your buns as my first time using FMF. I've been a baker for a long time but read over and over that it was completely different and would take a long time to get used to. Your instructions are perfect and the buns are absolutely delicious! Thank you so so much. Do you have a sandwich and bread recipe you could share? And, I imagine if I use the bun recipe but shape differently, I could make hamburger and hot dog buns right? 😁

    Has anyone tried these rolls for hamburger buns and how many do you think I can get out of a batch I think maybe six for a regular size hamburger patty?

    • @Lovelybellbakes
      @Lovelybellbakes  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use this regularly for burger buns. I actually make 12 buns with this. 85g each. Because burgers don’t rise high, they spread out and are big enough for us. If you want larger buns you can do 10 100g buns.

    Hi Monique, I’m trying to make the 90 minute rolls and I have a Bosch mixer. I don’t know what I’m looking for because your time would be different than my time as far as the mixing goes am I looking for windowpane?

    I just wish you could do the same recipe that is written online. Aren't they different? I got so dog gone confused because I read the written one, and then, since I'm a visual person, did the video one. Idk, I guess it's me, but I thought I had forgotten the egg/lecithin, because I think you had talked about putting the salt in last, in the video, but never said anything about the egg/lecithin as well, with it. Had to pulse my Vitamix again to knead to knead the egg in. Then was so flustered I forgot the salt. Had to pulse it again to knead that in, and it started to smoke, because I had pulsed it too much. (Note to anyone using a Vitamix for kneading, they say that you can use a Vitamix to knead dough with. Well, milled grain is heavier, so you can easily burn out the motor using truly whole wheat/milled grain dough.) Thought that I had burned out the motor, I was so angry. Then I remembered that it had a reset button. My son pushed it, and thank the Lord, it started working again. I thought the rolls were ruined too, but was mainly concerned about the Vitamix motor. Thank God, it all turned out, the Vitamix started working after pushing the reset button, and the rolls surprisingly were magnificent! I just wish, for those of us who are new to this, that you could keep the written recipe the same as the video one, but now I know to watch for that. Thank you Lord, I cried out, I was so upset, and angry, but He worked it out in the end. Definitely going to get a Kitchen Aide, so I don't burn out my Vitamix motor. Just an FYI to new millers, who don't have $1,000 to spend on a fancy new Kitchen Aide...you can find them on Facebook Marketplace for around $150, for a 6 cup. I'm wanting a 7 cup, 720 watt, but they are hard to find, so I may just go with the 6 cup for now.

    • @Lovelybellbakes
      @Lovelybellbakes  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Wheew! I’m glad it worked out in the end. I’m certainly going to make a new video for this recipe! Thank you for sharing your experience. And I had no idea about a reset button on the vitamix so thank you for that as well.

      @@Lovelybellbakes laughing my butt off, yeah, it was such a peaceful rainly day, and I was even going to go out and pick some Black Eye'd Susan's for the table. The back field is loaded with them this time of year, but that didn't happen sadly. Satan always wants to rob us of our joy, and let him at first, but thank the Lord it turned out great in the end. Surprisingly my kids and grandkids loved the rolls! I used 1/2 Hard White and 1/2 Hard Red berries, so I didn't know if they'd like them or not. Thank you for the recipe, just wanted you to know, I think it's a little different on the written one than the video. So, was kinda confusing the first time around, but it was a great recipe. Thank you and God bless.

    Do you think this recipe would work well to make pigs in a blanket?

    • @Lovelybellbakes
      @Lovelybellbakes  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure! But my top pick for that would be my garlic knot dough. It’s a lot easier to work with yet still super soft results! Recipe is on my channel.

    Do you do anything differently if you have more time? I make some rolls that require that I start the night before because the flour is soaked overnight. Gonna be trying these!

    • @Lovelybellbakes
      @Lovelybellbakes  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When I have more time I do 2 full rises. So after kneading, let the dough rise until almost doubled in size. Then shape into rolls and let rise again.

    Do you use a kitchen aid for all your FMF baking? What kind of KA do you have? Everyone says KA won’t work, but Is the mixer I’d prefer to buy

    • @Lovelybellbakes
      @Lovelybellbakes  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have an 8qt commercial kitchen aid so it handles it pretty well. But I also have a Famag im10 for large batches or stiff dough. The Famag only does dough. If I was going to have only 1 mixer I’d probably go with an Ankarsrum.
