I've Got A Problem With My La Sportiva G-Tech's

What you need to know,
The G-Tech's (and probably G-Summit) TPU toe welt will most likely crack when there is a force applied to to the toe welt in cold very cold weather (-20 degrees F)
The force in question would be a kick into the ice with a tight fitting fully automatic crampon strapped onto the boot.
